Aivan uusi hotelli ja siten erittäin hyvässä kunnossa. Tosin nimi on harhaanjohtava, hotelli ei ole Petit France-alueella, vaan n. 15-20 min kävelymatkan sieltä. Huoneessa on minikeittiö jääkaappeineen, mikä oli yllätys ja plussaa. Suuri miinus kuitenkin sille, ettei matkalaukuille eikä ulkovaatteille ole mitään säilytyspaikkaa. Aivan sängyn vieressä on komero, jonne voi laittaa muut vaatteet. Ulkovaatteille, sateenvarjoille yms. se ei kuitenkaan sovi. Märkinä ulkovaatteet tarvitsisivat väljän eteistilan kuivatukseen, sadehan on talvella jokapäiväistä. Vessanpöntön korkeudessa sai normaalimittainen mieskin heilutella jalkojaan ilmassa... Asennuskorkeus ehkä n. 2 metrisille sopiva :)

Asiallinen hotelli lähellä Euroopan neuvoston rakennusta ja ihmisoikeustuomioistuinta. Tilava ja viihtyisä hotellihuone. Lähiseudun ravintolapalvelut ja ostosmahdollisuudet ovat kuitenkin heikot. Strasbourgin keskustaan noin 20 minuutin kävelymatka reippaasti askeltaen. Lähistöltä yhteydet keskustaan myös julkisilla kulkuvälineillä.

"Hotel de France Strasbourg - hyvä sijainti"
Hyvällä paikalla keskustassa. Huoneet siistejä, vaikka kokolattiamatto (allergiset huom.). Kylpyhuone uusittu.

"over priced and not clean"
The room was almost as small as a closet. Dirty bed dirty bathroom floor dirty tub and dirty towels. Great location but a very old and dirty hotel we would never stay again

Hi It started with aggressive attitude of the lady in the reception. The guests lift was out of order , we used the smal lift of the hotel staff. The carpet in the room was unclean with stains. You need to order parking (additional 16€per day).

Great location, though there is street work being completed so getting around to park can be challenging. Breakfast not worth 20 Euros per person. Staff extremely helpful. Air conditioning hard to figure out but did work. Room large.

The hotel staff was courteous. The stay was comfortable. Wish that breakfast was included in the price or provided at a lower price.

For a variety of reasons the lift was out of action during our stay. Climbing endless stairs was no fun. Our room 202 had holes in the carpet and white paint/cement stains as well. The decor can best be described as East European 60s communist style. Brown furniture, brown curtain, grubby carpet. Nasty.

Located in the midst of Strasbourg.. all amenities nearby. However, being right there in the midst makes it noisy even at night. The rooms were excellent and clean. However, I would not suggest the breakfast buffet. Terrible! Cant understand why Best Western, a 3-star brand cannot have a sensible and sumptuous breakfast. They are after all charging […] you €10 a person. Least they could do is warm up the bread and refill the buffet line once an hour or so. Service was also on a just need-to-know basis. Had to ask for everything. However, one great thing (which is why I chose the hotel) is that all the points of interest are located within a few minutes of walking. Lisätietoja

This is the best hotel I've stayed in in Strasbourg and I travel there quite frequently. I would recommend it to everyone from families, to couples, to business travelers.

"Above average"
The location of the hotel is good, and the staff was good. My only complaint was the parking was a little far away, in the description information I thought it was included, which is was not. charging is not usual, but it just did not meer with expectatation. "Stasbourg Best Western Hotel de France"
It is a standard hotel. Pretty nice for the money. It was in a good location. Their parking garage was full, but they point you to another one and validate the parking so you only have to pay hotel price and not the regular garage rate. Room was updated, but bathroom was dated. Would stay there again.

"Beware Construction"
Pleasant staff, and a refurbished room made the stay bearable. Trumping those, however, was the LOUD construction going on in the hotel starting at 8:30am.

"Optimale Lage für touristische Erkundungen"
Wir waren mit 2 Paaren zum ersten Mal in Straßburg und wollten uns zu Fuß viel ansehen. Das Hotel liegt hierfür ideal. Allerdings konnten wir das Hotel trotz Navy wegen der vielen Einbahnstraßen erst nach mehrmaligem Umrunden finden. Es fehlen Hinweisschilder. Das Zimmer als DZ erschien uns etwas klein. Badezimmer schön renoviert. Das zum Teil auch […] Deutsch sprechende Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück entspricht dem Standard und man muss nicht in eines der nahen, nur auf den ersten Blick preisgünstigeren Cafes, gehen. Wir würden das Hotel für einen Kurzaufenthalt wahrscheinlich wieder wählen. Das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis ist in Ordnung. Das Frühstück ist zwar o,k., aber auch sehr teuer. Es gibt viele Cafe`s in der Umgebung, da kann man super frühstücken.

"A la Reception"
Le séjour en lui meme était court. Le parking est lugubre, les places trop petites et le coùt est trop élevé. La chambre n'est pas comme sur la photo, durant les nuits j'ai eu froid du au mince couverture à disposition, le lit est un lit jumeux qui se sépare durant la nuit en dormant, enfin...J'ai restitué ma chambre avant midi et je souhaitais pouvoir […] faire encore quelques achats dans la ville. La plupart des places de parking étaient vide et ainsi j'ai demandé si je pouvais laissé ma voiture dans le parking pour une durée de 2h maximum. On m'a assuré que oui mais qu'il faudrait payer un supplément, soit disant que j'occupais une place alors que vous attendiez bcp de clientelles. En reprenant ma voiture, toutes les places étaient vide. La receptioniste était désagréable et vraiment pas aimable. très bien situé proche de la vieille ville, des lieux culturels et surtout proche des stations de tram et de bus, avec un parking en réservation
trop cher, le chauffage dans la chambre n'était pas allumé quand nous sommes arrivés, il fallait 24 heures jusqu'a ce qu'il ne faisait plus froid dans la chambre.

Das Hotel ist rasch und einfach zu Fuss vom Bahnhof aus zu erreichen. Das Personal war sehr zuvorkommend. Die Zimmer sind sauber. Das Geld fürs Frühstück im Hotel im eher nüchternen Frühstücksraum kann man sich sparen, da in der Nähe zahlreiche gemütliche Tea-Rooms zum 'Zmörgele' einladen. Sehr zu empfehlen!

Quite shabby and to expensive regarding the quality. No safety box, no minibar - and dirty broadloom and curtains. The position in Strasbourg is very good, and if you will not spend time at the hotel - Hotel de France is maybe an option.

Attention les photos ne correspondent pas du tout à la réalité. Hôtel vieillot et décoration année 80. Bon accueil.
l'hotel est très bien situé à 5minutes de la gare dans le magnifique quartier de la petite france actuellement en travaux d'aménagement,cette modernisation lui donnera un confort supplémentaire et en fera un lieu de charme avec un potentiel d'animation à proximité
"Für einen Wochenendtrip genau das richtige"
Das Zimmer war schön und in einem guten Zustand, jedoch leider etwas klein. Wir hatten ein Doppelzimmer Superior gebucht und ich würde dieses auch empfehlen. Gemäß der Auskunft an der Rezeption sind nur die Superior Zimmer frisch renoviert und modern dekoriert. Die Standard-Doppelzimmer sind wohl veraltet. Während unseres Aufenthaltes ( Sonntag-Dienstag) […] war der Personenaufzug defekt und wir mussten den Personalaufzug benutzen. Vi satte pris på hotellets gode beliggenhed midt i Strasbourg, men blev noget overrasket over at skulle betale 14 euro for morgenmad pr. person pr. dag. Til den pris kunne man forvente mere end brød, smør, marmelade og en enkelt dag ost, fx var der aldrig æg. Prisen var ikke synlig for os og vi spurgte ikke - så ...

Très bien placé sur l'île centrale, à proximité de la gare et du centre piétonnier. Accueil aimable et diligent. Belle vue sur la cathédrale depuis les chambres du haut, avec un super balcon privatif. "Bon rapport qualité / prix"
Hotel confortable. L’ascenseur était en panne, nous avons utilisé celui de service. Accueil très sympa. Chambres confortables. Bonne situation. Store de la chambre HS remplacé par un rideau pas très étanche au soleil le matin. Salle de bain et lit confortables.

Man skal ikke forberede sig på luksuriøse værelser, god udsigt eller udsøgt service, når man ankommer til dette hotel, men man får store værelser og en fin beliggenhed til besøg i Strasbourg enormt billigt. Parkering koster 16 €/dag. Morgenmaden på hotellet er ikke overdådig, men der er, hvad der skal være. Vejen fra receptionen til værelserne er gennem […] nogle smalle gange, der godt kunne trænge til renovering - eller bare en gang maling måske. "Wie traurig..."
Nach 10stündiger Fahrt aus Südfrankreich sind wir endlich in Strassbourg gelandet um dann in so einem Hotel die Nacht zu verbringen???!!! Das Drama begann schon an der Rezeption, als uns die Hotelmittarbeiterin mitteilte, dass kein Parkplatz in der Garage zur Verfügung steht, wir aber in einem öffentlichen Parkhaus drei Straßen weiter parken können, […] welches genau so viel kosten würde. (Super Idee, wenn das Auto bis unters Dach voll gepackt ist, weil man gerade zu viert aus dem Urlaub kommt.) Der Weg zu unseren Zimmern führte einmal quer durch sämtliche Anbauten, Lagerräume und Angestellten-Flure und hatte seine besten Zeiten wohl auch schon gesehen. Wir hatten 2 Zimmer reserviert und bekamen dann eine "Junior-Suite" und ein Doppelzimmer. Im Doppelzimmer fanden sich noch die Müllreste der Vorgäste in der "Junior-Suite" befanden sich auf dem Balkon lauter Zigarettenkippen und die dort stehhenden Planzen hatten wahrscheinlich im letzten Jahr das letzte mal Wasser gesehen. Bei der Reservierung ist uns versehentlich das Frühstück durch die Lappen gegangen - aber man gut auch, denn beim Nachreservieren stellte sich raus, dass dieses einen horenden Preis pro Person kosten sollte (Für ein Croissant, nen Kaffee und etwas Marmelade????) So konnten wir getrost um 6 Uhr morgens weiterfahren ohne Frühstück, dafür mit einem guten Gefühl aus dem Hotel raus und auf dem Heimweg zu sein. Ansonsten waren die Zimmer sauber und für eine Nacht als Zwischenstopp wohl gerade noch zu ertragen. Allerdings nur, wenn man bedenkt, dass wir über Hotel.com nur ein Drittel des regulären Preises bezahlt haben. Lisätietoja

Vi fikk et nyrenorvert rom mot bakgård, ingen trafikkstøy. Flott utgangspunkt for å sykle og se seg om i byen. Syklene våre fikk plass i hotellgarasjen. Hotellet lå veldig sentralt med gangavstand til det meste. Anbefales!

Soit disant erreur du receptionniste de la première partie de soirée . Nous avions prévenu de l'arrivée tardive Apres une demi heure de recherche par le réceptionniste, solution dans un autre best western très proche, et […] différence de tarif ( en fait le double) pris en charge par hotel de france.
