Our stay was acceptable. The only drawback is that their complimentary breakfast hours should be longer than the three (3) hours posted. We looked for a reasonable place to stay on our way to Las Vegas.

The hotel was great and the breakfast was nice. I always look for protein in the AM and the yogurt and boiled eggs were a nice touch. The room was clean and the parking was large. The freeway access was easy. I'd stay there again.

High price for a hotel between freeway, highway and railway. Very noisy surrounding.

This is an older motel, two story, no elevator. It was near a freeway, but the traffic noise did not seem to be an issue. At least we did not hear the trains. Our room was spacious and comfortable. Not impressed with the "breakfast". It was open from 6 - 9 am, but by 8:30 there was no yogurt out, just an empty ice bowl. The two juices (apple and orange) […] were horrible. Barstow and the Bestwestern is a good place for a overnight stay. You can enjoy the Target Outlets just a few miles outside the city of Barstow. It is close to Galico Ghost town (a few miles) and the entry to Death Valley is about two hours of drive.

Overall not a bad place to stay. High points, very clean, friendly staff, comfortable room. Low points, another bad attempt to update a very old hotel. (paint, plumbing fixtures ect.) Might sound funny but, air conditioner with no thermostat is an pain in the xxx. when you try to sleep. (wake up freezing if its on, or sweating if its off) You kinda […] need it on all night to drown out the trains going by 200 yards from the hotel, but you better get some more blankets. Lisätietoja

Loved the ogami towel animals and figures that met us upon entering the room and bathroom. Very creative. Great touch! Breakfast was good. Appreciated the hard boiled eggs and they were fresh. Rooms were fairely good size and gave us space for our "stuff". We would definately recommend it.

room was a bit dingy but partly because of age. Bed was comfortable we slept well. Breakfast was ok but a bit hard to find something for loctose intalerant adult. A bit pricey for the accomodations.

In a world where customer service seems to have all but disappeared it was a real treat to find this hotel in the desert. The clerk that checked us in was fantastic. He was not only courteous but he was very helpful in finding us a good meal late at night. The overall hotel was clean and reasonably maintained. Our room was way above average. The beds […] were comfortable, especially for a hotel in this price range. We had a small refrigerator and microwave in the room. The air unit did not make too much noise and kept the temperature well within range. The hot tub is small, but it was really hot. That was nice, considering it was probably 45 degrees outside. It was a great room with a fridge and microwave to have handy if staying for a length of time. The only downfall was the fact that the coffee maker was so small. No bigger but could be larger. The beds were fantastic to where we didn't want to get up. The shower was also very satisfying with the type shower head.

Great location and very good location.

Beds are extremely comfortable. Great stop over place on a road trip. Large room and microwave and refrigerator in room.

the room was especially clean. the bed was so comfortable. i mean real comfortable. everything about the hotel my husband and i liked. we will be staying here again.

Clean room but a bit older. Right off the freeway with a basic breakfast. An average motel.

OK for one night stay

The rooms are very spacious, have a kitchenette, fridge microwave, and everything else you need. The rooms are clean. More then I expected if i look at the price

The service was great, the hotel room was cozy, and the location was convenient. They paid attention to detail and provided great amenities including a fridge, microwave, coffeemaker with coffee and tea, and TV. Also, the internet access was great which is important for people who need to go online for business and/or personal. The only complaint I have is the air conditioning is under the front curtains and they blow into them. :)

The hotel was very clean and quiet, in spite of having heavy occupancy on the night we stayed. I usually stay in high-end hotels, so I was pleasantly surprised at how comfortable the room was. The room was great. Nothing to complain about. Freeeeeeee Wifi was speedy and very easy to connect to and use. Unfortunately, the weekend we were there the pool was closed for maintenance (our luck.) But otherwise, a great stay.

Barstow, being a most unique and somewhat run-down City doesn't offer much in the realm of upscale lodging. Having said that, I would say among the limited choices that Barstow has to offer, this Best Western definitely gives the most bang for the buck. Decor is newly refurnished, the comforters and sheets are soft, they give you a multitude of pillows. Each room has a mini-fridge and microwave, very handy! The breakfast is complimentary, you can make a fresh waffle, there is a decent selection of fresh fruit, yogurts, and the normal cereals, milk, juices, and coffee. Would stay here again, I've stayed at other hotels in Barstow (Ramada and Quality Inn, both substandard) Biggest drawback to Best Western is: No elevator to second floor. Clean, comfortable, good price. Seems harder to find while traveling in CA. I found that here. Very easy to find as well.

The room was nice and clean. The staff were friendly. To our surprise, the room was even equiped with microwave and refrigerator. They also provided deluxe continental breakfast. It is exceeded our expectation, really worth the money.
