This was a very clean room, staff was nice, great room for a 2 stars hotel.

Upon arrival at the hotel we were greeted by a pre-occupied (with what?) front desk employee. After I was checked-in, I went to my room to find a bathtub full of water, stained bed sheets, and a musty odor. I proceeded up to Target to purchase some new sheets and a pillow. In hindsight, probably should've packed up and found a different hotel, but I […] regretfully didn't. During the night, I was woke up several times when someone would open or close their door; it would seem there was some lack of sound proofing available when the hotel was constructed? It was a nice nonexpensive motel. The kids enjoyed the pool. The only draw back is the walls are very thin and you can tell when the bar closes because everyone comes back at 3 am loud as heck woke up the entire family and this goes on til about 4 am. Please note: This hotel is sold by Hotels.com as an Americas Best Value Inn, but the sign in front is Best Western Americanna. Extremely frustrating trying to tell my wife to find something that was not there!

This hotel was a good price for the quality received. I was impressed by the room - nice furnishings, clean, open, and welcoming. The hotel also had complimentary breakfast in the morning so that was also a nicely added feature.

Not the best location and it is an older hotel, but all in all it was right for the price. Decent breakfast and the pool looked nice.

We had a great stay. Clean hotel. Room was comfortable. Friendly staff. Kids enjoyed large heated pool and fresh waffles for breakfast. Room rates were quiet reasonable. Would stay next time as well if rooms available.

For the price we paid for one night on one room it was not worth it. The beds were the worst beds that we have ever slept on. We choose this hotel because of the price and the location as we were in the middle of a long car trip. When we got to the hotel and checked in, we parked the cars to unload and while doing this I saw a lady pushing a shopping […] cart down the frontage road. As for frontage roads there was no direct turn off from Highway 10 to the hotel... you had to go to the next stop light and do a U turn and then turn off. Hotel staff was friendly and eager to help. We asked for a cot for my daughter, and they brought it up right away. However, the sink leaked on the floor, there was not much hot water to shower. Shower knobs were reversed. Called for extra towels, never received. Nice new furniture in room. But someone did a poor job painting the walls. I chose this hotel because of the closeness to my destination, however, it's not in downtown St. Cloud, so there isn't much going on in this area. Mostly gas stations and fast food. I had two reactions when I arrived at this hotel at 7:30 at night. 1) Was there really 8-10 kids running around down the halls and through the pool and 2) the room doesn't […] look nearly as ugly in person as it did online. They've obviously repainted and updated linens which was nice. HOWEVER - the children at the hotel were literally running down the halls until 12:30 at night and naturally they were at it again at 6 am. I could hear everything going on through the walls. I know that it is ultimately the parent's responsibility for the children, but it would have been nice if the staff had asked them to quiet down, so if you're a light sleeper bring ear plugs. Also, I found things left over from the previous guest in the refrigerator, a dirty washcloth in the shower, and there was paper shoved in the peephole in the door (i'm guessing to block light). These seem like some obvious misses from the cleaning crew. When finally got up at 8 am after a terrible night and morning trying to drown out the circus outside my door, there was no hot water for the shower... not even tepid. My first instinct is not to recommend this hotel, but I think most of the issues I had were because of the other guests in the hotel, so I would give it one more try in hopes that I was right. My husband is staying in the va hospital so the kids and I came to St.Cloud to stay with him for a night. The check in was very nice they got us in early which was really good due to we didnt have anywhere else to go beside eat, shop etc. But our hotel room wasn't what we expected our sink didn't drain. our room was freezing so we turned on the heater […] and it stated making this loud noise. walls were paper thin so could hear the kids next door all night. and the Tv stations for the most part were so fuzzy you couldn't watch over half the stations. The hotel was a little out of the way of all the main stores, but we knew that when we reserved our room. It was perfect for a little getaway. Comfortable bed. Clean room. Just an overall good experience. :)

Very clean and quiet. Service was beyond expectations: we had to leave early in the morning and the staff prepared (free) breakfast for us earlier than normal. Inexpensive. Highly recommend.

Upon entering the room, there was a dirty cleaning rag on the bathroom counter. The spa was a dirty green color and not hot. Overall, there was an odor of cleaning products throughout the building. The business center was filthy; grime on the keyboard, monitor, and printer and no product available to disinfect your hands after use. The computer printer […] did not work. Good hotel, quiet and clean. The only thing I didn't like was the smell of smoke from other rooms.

The hotel's appearance and cleanliness left much to be desired. The appearance of the hotel beyond the lobby was very poor. Although I requested a smoking room, the odor in the room was terrible. The bed was older and not very comfortable. For a few more dollars, I'm sure I could have found something much better. Although this hotel is well-maintained on the outside, the surroundings are a little dreary. So I was a little surprised to check and find the facilities to be updated, clean, and pleasant. The room was large and clean and nicely furnished. Everything worked, and the bed was comfortable - very nice. Although the hotel is next to US 10 with a busy freight […] rail line within one-half mile and a large convenience store/truck stop next door, the inside of the room was QUIET. In fact, a thunderstorm came through one of the evenings that I was there, and I did not know it until I looked at the Weather Channel. Breakfast is just fine although there were no hot items (except the coffee). There are only three four-person tables in the breakfast area, so if the hotel is busy, you might have to take your items to the room. I usually travel with a dog. The pet exercise areas are really poor. The whole site is paved; there is an overgrown, weedy, and trash-strewn lot on one side; the only other option is to cross the service roadway in front of the hotel to exercise within the weedy right-of-way of the highway. Not great, but I really appreciate that my dog is allowed here. The site is backed up by a solid fence and the walls of low-rent apartments, so you cannot really walk anywhere. It is difficult to give this hotel an overall rating of less than four stars because it really is nice and comfortable inside and a good value. It really needs some sprucing up on the outside. Had an overall good stay at Americanna Inn. Good ammenities, and friendly staff. I would recommend this hotel.

It took the clerk a bit of time to trace my reservation because I had made it just a few hours before. He was, however, very polite and willing to send me to a room while things were figured out. I checked into the hotel. I had hair on the sheets when I checked in and it was not mine. I showed the desk clerk and she said she was "Sorry." The next day I brought up blankets that had holes in them, and gum stuck to them. This night, the new desk clerk told me, "Yuck" and told me to throw them over the counter.
