We wanted to stay somewhere near Interlaken and Grindelwald, and found this hotel with an incredibly beautiful location by Lake Brienz. Took less than 10 minutes by car to Interlaken and 20 minutes to Grindelwald. We were very pleased with this peaceful, beautiful location by the lake. The little garden outside the hotel is so pretty and there are stairs leading to the clear waters of the lake so you can take a swim just 20 metres from the hotel. We stayed two nights and I would've gladly stayed longer, just to soak up the atmosphere at the hotel.

Staff was very friendly, they even talked german slowly because of my poor skills. :) Very near to the railway station and the hiking tracks. Breakfast was good and room was clean. You will like this cozy place.

Hotel Berghof is located at Wilderswil near the city of Interlaken. The hotel was in very nice and scenic location on top of a hill. The views were fantastic and you could see the mountains, the town and the local life. Room was very large, nicely equipped and clean. Breakfast was also delicious.

The location is convenient to all the typical touristy places--restaurants, nik-nack stores, casino. The rooms are "efficient" in terms of furnishings at best. Don't plan on being pampered. Breakfast is included in the booking price. Internet access is very high. Says "free parking" but the lot is very small (10 spaces) for a hotel of over 150 rooms. […] Be prepared to rub shoulders with lots of tour groups (but I guess in this town, that's considered norm at all the hotels except the Savoy. Overall feeling is that of a "high end hostel". "Near train station but service and toilet not good"
Toilet have a notice said if water leak out to carpet, you need to paid the cleaning fee. But the toilet is leak water when shower......... Service is not good enough

The City Hotel was clean and comfortable and the staff was very professional. However, I suspect accommodating large tour groups day in and day out has stripped the hotel of some of its personal flair. "City oberlanD"
Nice hotel near train station and walking street. You have to pay for Internet . Nice breakfast but we have to wait very long since there are many large group tours in the hotel.
"Good location, lacks quality"
This hotel was a bit of a disappointment. Staff were not helpful, and our room was hot and smelled of smoke. Great location, but I'd look elsewhere.

me and my husband stayed at this hotel for one night as it`s in a close proximity to Jungfrau. Hotel provided us with free local bus passes for 2 days , which were very useful as we took a local bus to the lake one day. The next day we also took a local bus to the other train station to go to Jungfrau. The hotel has a lovely Swiss cuisine restaurant […] , so you don`t have to go too far for dinner,and the prices are reasonable by Swiss standards. We also had a free tea/coffee/kettle in our room. City Swiss Hotek is located at just 3 minutes walk from Interlaken West station. It's perfect hotel for those who wish to be based at Interlaken. We stayed there for 3 nights and no doubt the hotel services benifited us more than we paid for. Great hospitality shown by the reception staff, who actually explained us the route to Jungfrau from Interlaken, […] as we weren't planned when reached there. "Zentrale Lage"
Das City Swiss Q Hotel Oberland liegt inmitten von Interlaken. Somit kann man das ganze Angebot (Shops, Restaurants, Kultur, etc.) in Interlaken, sowie den Bahnhof West und Wanderwege wenigen Minuten zu Fuss erreichen. Leider hat es zuwenig Parkplätze beim Hotel, wobei gegen ein Entgelt eine Tagesparkkarte (24 Stunden) für öffentliche Parkplätze gekauft […] werden kann. Lisätietoja
