Who knew the walkable streets of Middleton were so close? As other posters have said, you can literally walk to shops and restaurants from this hotel. And I don't mean walk across a large impersonal highway-side parking lot to a Dennys...these streets of Middleton are actually VERY close to the highway exit, so the walk is like a walk in a small town. […] The hotel was quiet - we did not experience the highway noise others have complained about, but we were on the side facing away from the highway. The room was clean and roomy, and has kitchenette. Free wifi was fine, no problems. Totally convenient, and I would recommend the Middleton area as a way to stay in Madison without fighting for parking or paying extra high rates - Middleton is 15 minutes away. Lisätietoja

WebSite advertises drinks and hors snacks, but these are only available on Tuesday - Thursday. Rooms are small and poorly laid out compared to other Staybridge Suites that we have stayed in. TV is in awkward spot so that it is difficult to watch. Bathroom is right off of bed. Breakfast does not start until 7:30 am on Sat which is too late for many travelers […] based on the number of people who came down to the breakfast area before 7:30. Our room was very nice. The only trouble we had was the phone rang at 5:50 am for a wake up call, but we did NOT ask for it. Then the alarm clock set off at 6:40 am from the last people who stayed in the room. Hy way noise was noticeable.

The hotel is about $30-40 too high given what is available in the area. Granted breakfast is included but it is not a breakfast that I can recommend. I think the hotel should offer a reduced price for a stay without breakfast, otherwise improve breakfast and keep the price. As it is it's too expensive.

It was a great experience staying at the Staybridge. We weren't quite sure we were at the right place because their sign was not lit, so it was hard to see, but once we figured out we were there all went well. We didn't really know what to expect, as we'd never stayed at a StayBridge Hotel before, but much to our surprise, it was even nicer than we hoped. The room was very nice & clean. We planned to go to Taliesen over the weekend and wanted to stay on the west side of Madison. We picked this hotel using on-line recommendations and we were not disappointed. It was perfect.

Well worth the money. Will stay here again. Dirty upholstery and minor cleaning problem in the bathroom along with marginal pillows prevent me from giving a full 5star review. Great breakfast.

We booked a 2 bedroom suite so we all had plenty of room to roam and have our own space. Having the living area and kitchen was an additional bonus and a place where we could all be together. Very nice stay, smooth check-in and check-out, great room, comfortable bed. I have stayed at many Extended Stay Americas, and Staybridge Suites offers the same mini-apartment setup, but it seems just that much nicer. Very convenient area with lots of shops and restaurants as well.

The hotel stay was comfortable and I would stay there again. The negative is that it was booked through Hotel.Com, at checkout, the lady at the desk said she couldn't find a record of payment. We loved the walking distance to the town of Middleton. It was not convenient to Madison where our child is at school, but we would possibly stay there again if the price was lower. It was the only nearby hotel we could find on a UW game day.

This is a very well equipped hotel in Middleton on the West side of Madison. The suite was large and well equipped with a full size refrigerator. The location is an easy shot into the University of Wisconsin campus.

Great place, staff is exceptional. We went for the UNLvs WI football game. Traffic is terrible and it is about impossible to get a cab. The hotel recommended we take a shuttle after the game from the bowling alley down the street. Prob the best decision we made. We had friends wait over 4 hours for a cab. We enjoyed our stay very much, mostly because of the friendly atomosphere. Yes, we felt at home during a week stay. Their location is not very convenient if you look for a city-boy type night life, but extremely convenient for golfers like us, for there are several golf courses within twenty minute ride.

Happy hour / appetizers were nice, layout of pool was weird. Rooms were ok, but definitely not worth the cost.

What we liked most about this location is the proximity to the middleton Wi area.We did not have an automobile since we were visiting family so we walked downtown on several occassions. We will stay at this hotel next time we visit family. Thanks

Nice Hotel in a nice suburb of Madison. Loved the location very close to a number of resturants and a short walk from Capitol Brewery which was a fun time.

All was fine until breakfast when a fire sent us all outside in the cold. When we were finally able to go back in, the breakfast was not available. After we got back later they had doughnuts for us. Loved the hotel! Great rooms with a small kitchen and all supplies. Worked excellent with our 10 month old for preparing decent meals. The only negatives were that our toilet clogged several times for no reason and because of the ice tray in the freezer, they don't have an ice machine on site. We wanted to relax with some cocktails, but there was no […] ice in the freezer. We had to use this slushy ice that they had downstairs. This hotel is not what I was expecting. While the front desk clerk was great, the overall maintenance of the hotel was disappointing. The hallway carpets were all pulled up, which made it difficult to get luggage down the hallway and I tripped twice. There were no clean towels in the pool area and the hot tub was very chloriny. I know you allow pets, […] but the dog barking across the hallway all night long did not help either. We went to talk to the front desk about it when we were leaving, but no one ever came out of the back office and we waited almost 5 minutes. We booked this hotel because of it's location, and we couldn't have asked for a better hotel. We were able to walk to most places we wanted to go to.
