Princess Heights Luxury Boutique Condo Hotel - Oyster Pond (Hollannin)

This is a very nice hotel The facilities were beautiful, rooms very nice and beds very comfortable. The staff was helpful and kind. The only drawback is that the hotel is very high up a steep hill, so if you want to walk to the beach, it is quite a walk.

Nicely furnished luxury spacious apartment, very helpful staff. Pack small there are no elevators!! quiet and classy Dawn Beach area. At least 40 minute drive from the airport. Opt for breakfast to be delivered to your apartment.

Great hotel, great view, great rooms for the price, you need a car to move around because is far from the action, little roaches in the room, no lobby, no ice machine, no restaurant but overall is a great place to stay and know the island. I will be back soon and recommend it to all my friends

Set atop high hill overlooks Dawn beach and unfortunately roof and A/C units of Westin. Clean gorgoeous rooms with nice falt screen TV and well appointed bathroom. Complimentary 2 bottles of water and beer. These are condos, and although they have room service, there is no breakfast or lobby. Staff in office just seemed bored and indifferent. Overall, […] not super helpful...just a job to them. They have a pool on second level with a few chairs, no ambience what so ever. Not sure if they even had shade. Certainly no poolside bar. Rooms are hard to get to an require a steep drive around backside of poperty. Not much nearby. Westin is across the street after a steep walk down hill. They have a pool and beach bar. Resturants nearby ar e Captain Olivers which isold slightly run downand not that good. Mamas Pizza is close and looked good, but we didn't try it. The best and nice surprise was Mr Busby's. Very reasonable priced with awesome breakfst and lunch right on the beach. You can rent chairs nd umbrellas from shack righgt next door. Overall, just keep in mind these are condos, they have kitchenette, but otherwise no amenities of a resort. Things are hard to get to nearby due to hills. Helps if you have rental car. Lisätietoja

The hotel is built into the side of a mountain. Reception is on first story. Lower building is Levels 3--7 without elevators. Then one walks a hall to elevator for Levels 7-12 or so.. My room was on Level 11. Luckily there was a back road to Leve 9 so I dd not have to carry my bags up 4 flights! Beautiful view, but a pain in the backside. Beautiful rooms, very clean and a wonderful ocean view. A little far from everything, not on the beach and walking requires climbing a steep hill with no sidewalks. There is no restaurant on site either so going for dinner requires driving. The Princess Heights was all that we expected - a nice comfortable room with a lovely view of the bay with St. Barts in the distance. Staff were very friendly recommending local restaurants (try Floaters and Captain Olivers). We stayed in the higher of the 2 blocks on the equivalent of the 10th floor. The higher block had a lift/elevator but the lower […] did not so there were a lot of steps and a steep hill to get to the beach, which was a tough walk after a day of snorkeling. I would definitely recommend getting a car (we had a VERY small car which struggled a little on the hills but was fun to drive around the island). The one disappointment with the location was that the Westin hotel was built below the Princess Heights. The Westin seemed to have been designed by an architect who specialized in block prisons with unfriendly staff who just wanted you to tour the Dawn Beach Club (you were accosted each time you walked through). The staff at this hotelwas very supportive--helpful in obtaining a taxi at a reasonable rate, helpful in finding a doctor. Higly recommend it.

The place was amazing will definitely stay there again. the room was huge ,spotless and very luxurious and the view was exceptional. The staff was extremely nice and courteous . if going to St Marteen for the first time then this is the place you must stay in... gave it a 5/5

I've never been more satisfied with a hotel room. The Princess Heights may not be beach front, but the view from our balcony was spectacular. The room itself was beyond expectation for the price we paid... Marble flooring throughout, jucuzzi bathtub, plush linens, complete kitchen and flat panel tv (although we didn't make much use of it!) Only drawback […] (to some, but not us) is the location, which is not in the most lively area of the island. You'll need a car, but you never truly experience St. Maarten.St Martin until you drive the terrain. My fiancee and I felt that the location added to the romantic appeal of the hotel. Its location atop a very tall hill made for great views during sunrise and sunset. All of the rooms are ocean view. The beach is a 7 minute walk, or 1 minute drive away. The staff was very helpful and we saw housekeeping and maintenance working diligently throughout the course of our stay. In short, I highly recommend this hotel to couples seeking a romantic getaway. great acomodation but poor surrounding neighiborhood and convenience of hotel location. Everything was perfect in the "studio" and for quality of service. the hotel is dependant of the "west in", the closest hotel about restaurant and this hotel hides part of the beachfront and is noisy cause of the air conditioning towers on his roof. simple but good […] pool. you need to use stairs for at least 4 floors to get out/in the hotel. This side of the island was nice and easy to get to with a rental car (a must if you want to really see anything on St Maarten). The rooms are located just up the hill from the Westin which has a casino, restaurants, etc that you can bum off of should you need that sort of thing. We stayed in the studio room which had a beautiful view of the beach […] from the top of the hill, a private balcony and delicious free refreshments in the fridge! Matt met with us near the office and gave us a personal tour of the facilities and an in room check in that was very convenient. Everyone on property was very friendly and eager to help with anything we needed. The room was clean and comfortable and it is more like having an apartment than a hotel room. The property is quiet and slow paced, and there is ample parking on site (which is a relief when you're trying to park other places on the island). There is a market nearby and a nice little beach bar (dollar beers at happy hour!). Otherwise the island is perfect for exploring with a car and there are numerous beaches to explore. Princess heights was the perfect base for us to return to after our daily adventures and I look forward to staying there again next time! Lisätietoja

No complaints whatsoever. We were upgraded from a studio to a one bedroom at no cost. Beautiful and clean rooms - wonderful balcony and pool. Really good location but not directly on the beach - a very minor drawback. A wonderful value for the money.

The hotel is only a year old - and the rooms were spectacular. We did have an ocean view - but be aware that this hotel is not located within walking distance of the beach. The hotel is not centrally located, and you must have a car if you stay here. This is a very beautiful, well maintained hotel but the ocean is much rougher on this side of the island. The hotel is everything it says it is and if you want quiet and amazing scenery this is the place. The one-bedroom suite was absolutely as advertised - roomy, full kitchen, very posh, fabulous ocean view, near great beach and twice-weekly ferry to St. Barth. It was fairly empty when we went, so very quiet and the staff were wonderful - mostly young folks from the Netherlands doing internships. The cons: 1)to get to the beach, you have to drive a […] few minutes down the very steep hill, park at the Westin, and go through their lobby to the beach. My husband would have preferred a room right on the beach so that he could drink at the beach bar and not have to drive back to a hotel. He got over it, and the beach is perfect! 2) the view of the ocean was great but the immediate view was of the top of the Westin hotel and their generators. The generators would turn on (VERY NOISY) at odd times - not just when the area lost power. We never did figure that out. We only spent evening hours on the lanai, so the generator noise wasn't a problem then and it was not noisy inside with the doors closed. Lisätietoja

We loved the hotel and it's quality and the services. The only negative is that the reception area is 6 floors down without any elevators, so essentially it could be great for exercise if you dont have a health problem. Otherwise it is great.

The princess Heights was far above our expectations. We needed an extra night at the end of our vacation and booked into the Princess. We had stayed at a timeshare "5star" resort that we thought was just so-so. If we had spent the week at the Princess we would have enjoyed our vacation immesurably more. The studio was gorgeous and all the little extra […] amenities were fantastic-even a stocked frig with an assortment of complimentary beverages. Very clean very quite... would recommand to anyone.

Had a great studio room on the 5th floor, with ocean view for a great rate. Room was almost new, had a nice big jacuzzi bath tub and the kitchen was nice as well. 5 minute walk to Dawn Beach, one of the fun beaches due to the waves coming in all the time. Staff was very friendly, accomodating, would definitely recommend staying here to anyone!
