The hotel is an ecellent choice for families visiting their loved ones at Mayo Clinic. The suite is equipped with all you need. The downside: they need to put real curtains in there. The transparent stuff is not enough! You will be awake with sunrise. The insulation needs to be improved as you can hear outside traffic early in the morning. Staff needs […] to give priority to guests when there is one elevator to use. The guy taking a chair using the elevator should do that after guests have left, instead, he would have liked us to get in the lift but the chair was too big for us to fit in!! The hygene with the toilet is questionable as one of them in the suite I booked had fecal matter below the seat which gives the impression that cleaning is surfacially done rather than thoroughly! If you dont mind the curtains (no privacy at night) and the little courtesy younwill get, this will be a wonderful place to stay at in Rochester close to Mayo Clinic and other hospitals. Lisätietoja

The hotel was clean, comfortable, and the breakfast was wonderful. Hotel staff was helpful and very courteous. It is difficult to get in and out of the parking facility because of the way it is structured. And the pool is very small. It's great for small children but no "real" swimming is possible because it's just not big enough.

"rude desk staff"
I stayed at his hotel for one night and requested a handicapped accessible room, as my elderly mother had recently had knee replacement surgery and required a cane to walk. I received a confirmation email that hotels.com had verbally confirmed with the hotel that this request would be honored. Our room was nice, but the room was at the very back of […] the first floor, down a winding series of hallways that took my mother almost five minutes to navigate with her cane if I was not available. I mentioned our request for better accessibility to the desk staff, who in a very rude manner told us that they had not received any such request from hotels.com and that it was "not their problem" and to "take it up with hotels.com". Even if it was not their fault (which I am not sure of), an apology for the inconvenience for an elderly woman recovering from surgery would have been appreciated; as it is, I am very dissatisfied with the stay despite the decent room due to the rudeness of the desk staff. "Convenient hotel at a reasonble price"
Room was clean and had everything we needed. Bed and sofa were not so comfortable. Limited housekeeping which I guess keeps the price down. Breakfast was just OK though kids liked the waffles. Quiet rooms and location convenient to hospitals and restaurants. We were visiting grandma in nearby Shorewood. Pool and fitness rooms very small. Nice large rooms, very clean and comfortable. It was also nice to have a kitchen in the room. They could use more elevators but overall a very nice place to stay.

We ahve stayed at this hotel three times while visiting the Mayo Clinic. The location and overall quality of the hotel is perfect for our needs. This is our preferred location and the cooperation of the staff is a tremendous additional benefit.

We enjoyed the friendliness of the people at the Staybridge. The breakfast was good. This hotel is going to be repainted and recarpeted and it does need that. We plan to stay there again when we go to Rochester.
"ST MARYS HOSPITAL STAY"
GREAT LOCATION DIRECTLY ACROSS FROM ST MARYS HOSPITAL WITH PLENTY OF FOOD PLACES RIGHT NEXT DOOR. I ORDERED PIZZA THE LAST NIGHT BEFORE MY SURGERY AND WAS SUPRISED HOW GOOD AND CHEAP PETES WAS. ONLY PROBLEM I HAD WAS WITH MY ARTHRITIC SISTER AND ASKED FOR CLOSER ROOM TO ELEVATORS BUT NONE WHERE AVAILABLE , BUT IM THINKING I HAD A 1 ROOM SUITE AND THEY […] COULD HAVE OFFERED ME A CLOSER ONE BEDROOM SUITE IF I UPGRADED CLOSER TO ELEVATOR , I WOULD HAVE FORE SURE UPGRADED. "Staybridge is the way to go!"
Have stayed at several hotels while at Mayo, Staybridge is a class act. I will make it a point to stay there again. Spacious rooms, full kitchen was a major plus, staff very friendly, the bed was very comfortable and the sheets and pillows were of the highest quality. Everything abut this hotel is quality and made being away from home as nice as it […] could be. Room was comfortable, clean and attractive. Location was good, and I liked the enclosed underground garage. Situated right on bus and shuttle routes, right across the street from St. Mary's, and walking distance to the Mayo Clinic. "Right across from St. Mary's"
I had some outpatient medical care I needed to do at St. Mary's. This is a great location, right across the street. Also, they had free breakfast (although the fruit wasn't very ripe), and kitchenettes to keep things cheaper and more convenient. I've stayed here for longer periods before and this was wonderful. My only complaints were that the fitness […] room had a bike, elliptical trainer and treadmill only; there were no weight machines or other equipment.
