"Satisfied with low expectations"
Comfortable and satisfactory for my needs. Didn't go in to this hotel expecting anything special and I wasn't disappointed. Very strange smells in the hallway and the stairwell at all hours, however fortunately the smell of the room was neutral. The light in the bathroom was not functioning, I asked the front desk if they could fix it, they said they […] would send somebody up to fix it, but this never happened. "Workman pounding all night!!!!"
The hotel is being renovated. I understood this when I booked, but why do they allow the workmen to work all night. My room was next to an area where they were working and there was loud talking and banging until at least 2:00 am. I put on music, the fan and earplugs, but could still hear them. "Renovation"
They were in the process of renovation. it made for an interesting stay. Lights out in the back hallways (replacing them) . Lamps set out for illumination. When they finish the renovation it will be very nice.

An older hotel. Room was clean and comfortable. 2 queen beds were perfect for a family of 4. Cable TV reception was excellent. We very much enjoyed the complimentary breakfast, which included scrambled eggs and the mildest sausage I've ever tasted. Access to 695 is 100 yards from hotel, so it was convenient. The beds were sagging and not comfortable. The breakfast was nearly gone by 8.30 A.M. The employee came by to clear everything but did not care to refill earlier. Poor customer service

"Horrible Place to Stay"
Abesolutely the worst place i have ever stayed. Upon arrival the night reception person was rude. I guess the kind of people who currnetly visit this hotel would cause his to act this way. After check in the rrom we recieved was over crowded with big furniture and very stuffy. Also the room had not been serviced very well. We found horrible stains left […] behind from the previous guest on the bed and the current bedding. (BLOOD) This was just the ultimate straw that broke the camels back. The night cleck didn't even offer an appoligy. He just handed my husband another room key and asked us to check it out to see if it was satifactory. We didn't check out as first thought because it was 2:00 in the morning. How awful was this stay?????? In the morning we spoke to the manager over the phone after we made a stink to the morning reception person after being told he would be there first thing. I have never been so disgusted in my entire life. One night credit was all they offered which was certainly not enough. I will never use this hotel again and i hope you don't either.............. Everything was decent. Hotel is under maintenance, but still looks nice. Only issue was in the morning while trying to sleep the cleaning people were extremely loud.

this place is what it is. Good value for the price. My only complaint was that they use these very odd square pillows which were not comfortable AT ALL. I hated those pillows. there was a microwave and small refrigerator in the room.

The walls are paper thin. You will hear everything from adjoining and non-adjoining rooms. If you are a light sleeper, stay somewhere else.
As I liked the convience of the hotel to the highway and stores I feel the hotel should of addressed problems right away. I liked the price of the hotel since alot of hotels in the Baltimore Area are very pricey. I only stayed two days and the price was great. I may stay again at this hotel the next time I am in town.

We were in town for a tournament and wanted a place convenient to our location at a good price. We feel that this hotel exceeded our expectations. A very comfortable, clean room, friendly staff and a nice hot breakfast with a good selection. We will be coming back in March and definitely plan to stay here again!

The breakfast was cold and awful. The elevators were dirty and for some reason the plaque for the elevator stating it was in running order was there the first day but not the second. The maintenance was terrible in the rooms. The floor in the bathroom were spattered with paint. The sign for the fire escape was crooked.

This hotel provided a great location but the experience was horrible! A guest staying right accross the hall (3rd floor) was smoking marijuana during the whole time. I complained to the front desk; while another guest stated it was worst on the 5th floor! The creep should have been arrested the 1st night!

"Check in was not easy!"
I booked the hotel thought hotels.com telephone # and was given a hard time at check in because the hotels.com card was declined. My credit card was already charged and they wanted to run it again. After about 10 minutes I was given my key but felt I was treated very rude. Lynn
"2 Rated Hotel!"
The over all quality was not that great. The bathroom shower was rusted and had a slight smell. The ceiling had a separtion that was stuffed with tissue. The bed spread had cigarett burns in it. I was told it was a none smoking room. Not a place I would recommend...

My experience was nothing like the horror stories I read in the comment section. Everything about this room, this location, and the staff was average and perfectly adequate.The room was on the small side but clean and had everything we needed. I was very displeased with this hotel. It was supposed to be non smoking, but you could smell smoke on every floor. My husband and I arrvied at 1:00 p.m. for a wedding at 6:00 p.m. Check in was at 3:00. We were allowed to check in, but there were no towels in the room. That was ok because we were early.We let the front desk know that we needed towels […] so we could shower and change. We did not get towels until around 4:30 in the afternoon. "Great Deal!!!"
The hotel was one of the cheaper ones in the area but our stay was wonderful. Staff was always courteous, hotel was clean, and the included continental breakfast rivaled the one my parents had at their much pricier hotel. Was in town to visit family so we wil be returning and will be staying at this hotel. Its a great deal.

Our hotel room has a terrible mold problem! The whole room smelled of mold and mildew. We could even see spots of mold coming through both the cieling and walls in this hotel! I will NEVER stay at this hotel again! I was gross and unclean and infested with mold and mildew!!!

Check-in was quick and courteous. The room was convenient to the elevator and was exactly as described. The room was clean and the bed was reasonably comfortable. More seating was needed for a couple to watch tv. Overall a good experience.

Our stay at this Hotel was the worst experience I have ever had! Why: *Entrance of Hotel was dirty. Carpets were dirty. *Room carpets had visibly large debris scattered around. Upon closer inspection one object was a pill. *Walls had big marks and areas where the wallpaper had been peeled off. *Electrical outlet cover was broker leaving exposed plug. *No […] hand or bath towels or wash cloths. Only a floor mat was provided. Called front desk requesting towels. After 20 minutes nothing had been delivered. I had to go down to the desk to get them myself and still no hand towels. *The blanket on the bed had stains which looked like blood but may have been food. The sheets appeared to be clean. *No drinks on our floor. All items were empty. Had to go down to 1st floor to get a drink. *Breakfast was one of the reasons we chose the location. We were down for breakfast within the allotted time period. There were no pastries or muffins. Eggs and sausage were under cooked. Eventually before we finished more pastries did arrive. We have stayed at this hotel a few times. It is close to Johns Hopkins University and is reasonably priced. Overall the staff is very nice and the hotel is fairly clean. Our room this last visit was a bit of a disappointment: The shower head was so low that even a short person had to crouch to use it. Additionally the rotating head to adjust the water […] flow wasn't working. The bathtub was moldy and when you turned the water on the whole unit spun and black mold poured down the walls. The spout was coming out of the wall as well and I was afraid it would break off. This was by far the worst stay I've had at this hotel but I know they are capable of better. I have stayed here twice before and had no complaints. We are scheduled to stay there again in August so I'm hoping some of these things will be taken care of. The front desk clerk ensured that all of our needs were taken care of and the hotel staff was courteous and helpful. The breakfast buffet was always kept fresh, and while the offerings did not change from day to day, provided us with a great way to start […] each day. My only major complaint is that the hotel was undergoing renovation, so there was construction outside our window that began very early on the days when we hoped to get a little more rest and the pool was open at very inconvenient hours.
