Very nice view of the beach and the lake. Spacious rooms, convenient, reasonable price. Hotel staffs are very friendly and helpful! Will come back and stay again!

The hotel was nice and the spa was nice but the upstairs people were extra noisy we had to complain twice and whenwe checked out the hotel receptionsist was not to helpful in booking us again for the summer so we will not stay there again after all we do have a choice in where we stay and who we give our business to, thanks you.

This hotel was an incredible gem located right on the lake. The views are dramatic beginning at sunrise and sunset is just magical. Every room is a lakeview. We had a 1 bedroom loft condo corner unit. It was a great value for Lake Tahoe and our family of 5. This property is perfect for families, girls weekends, birthdays, vacations, graduations...you […] name it. The staff was attentive and caring. Free breakfast and daily hot chocolate was something we looked forward too as well. The location was extremely convienent to shops, restaurants and equipment rentals. Nice comfortable bed in a decent room. Older building with a rustic feel. Our room faced the Lake and the view was just wonderful.

The beach was literally out the window. Couldn't be prettier. Fireplace in the room , very cozy.

What a nice surprise this was! Extra large room with beautiful view of Lake Tahoe from triple sliding glass doors across the back with covered balcony. Cozy gas fireplace w/automatic temp control. Great furnishings, convenient location close to casinos, restaurants & shoping..... A+ rating!

The staff very friendly. The view is beautiful. The area was ver y quiet. The couples massage was great. We would definitely stay here again.

Every room in this hotel gets the view of Lake Tahoe! It's not a new hotel but they did a wonderful job maintaining the condition and styling the rooms! The beds and the bed frames were amazing. This would be my go-to hotel from now on when I go to Lake Tahoe. The only downside - bathroom is extremely small.

This hotel is excellent by all means. nice and friendly staff, clean, outstanding view from balcony (if your balcony face water front). nice healthy and light breakfast for early rise. Must stay here again..

this hotel offer a good value for the buck. The location is perfect and the view is awsome. the only complaint that I can make is that there were no fridge or microwave in our room but given the price we paid for it it was totally worth it.

clean room, nice front desk people, on the lake with great views from every room. hot looking over lake tahoe, good breakfast cafe less than 100 yards away, great indian food also less than 100 yards away. negatives are it is hard to find unless you know what you are looking for, surrounding parking lot is not much to look at. can't say anything about […] the spa part, because I did not use their service. at the rate we paid it was a solid deal, I will be back. If you get a window view room to the lake, it's one of the best views of Lake Tahoe. Very nice place to spend a vacation or a romantic getaway. It's worth the money.

This hotel is a hidden gem! It's a little hidden on a short back street. For years didn't even know it was there. The staff is very friendly and all had smiles. Once in the room you will be amazed by the views. Sliding glass doors lead out to a balcony which is right on a private beach, with a pool and hot tub. The water lake is no more than 20 yards […] from the rooms! Gas stoves, pine beads, flat screen tv's, and it's seconds away from the big casinos. SO, I AM A RESEARCH BUFF; TAKING HOURS TO TRY TO FIND GOOD HOTELS FOR A GREAT PRICE. THIS HOTEL FROM THE OUTSIDE LOOKED OLD AND RUN DOWN. I WAS NOT SURE WHAT I WAS IN FOR. IT TURNED OUT FINE. ALTHOUGH IT DOES NOT SHINE OUT LIKE THE OTHER MODERN, WELL MAINTAINED STARS THAT SURROUND IT, LAKESHORE IS QUAINT, COMFY AND HAS ALL THE AMENITIES ONE WOULD NEED. […] THE HUGE PLUS IS THAT FOR A GOOD PRICE YOU GET A CLEAN ROOM WITH A SPECTACULAR VIEW, SUPER QUIET AND THE HOTEL SITS RIGHT UP TO THE BEACH SO YOU CAN ENJOY THE SERENITY OF THE LAKE. Thoroughly enjoyed the balcony, pool and the hot/cold of hot tub and dip in the lake! The hotel is nothing fancy, but comfortable and well kept, not to mention the great location (at least for the summertime). Blue water bistro (on the pier 2 blocks over), which was recommended by the hotel staff, is a true gem - had 2 excellent dinners there!

This hotel is situated away from the main strip but close enough for a quick drive. It is right on the lake and most rooms have an incredible view of it. The rooms were clean and the on-site spa was awesome. For the price I would definitely stay there again.

The front desk staff was lovely! We were in South Lake Tahoe for our wedding and stayed at this hotel for just our wedding night -- they arranged to have the room cleaned so we could check in a little early with our stuff, and the girl at the front desk could not have been more happy for us. Very cool being 100 ft from the lake on your balcony. Been here twice both times for wedding anniversarys and we really love being so close to everything especially the Lake. Another thing I really liked was that the shower heads were about 7 ft. Tall and i am 6 ft. tall so I really thought that was great.

Keys would not work in old door locks, location very nice nut it's older building. Nice but needs a remoddel

The Hotel was located right by the lake and the view was awesome. So serene and quite. Best place for gateaway.

I loved the view and you are right out on the beach. The worst night sleeping ever due to the uncomfortable mattress and there was not any comfortable seating, such as a couch or comfortable chair to relax in and soak up the view.

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Lakeshore lodge and spa, for 3 days. We booked our room at hotels.com, a great website. First off, let me say that we arrived 2 hours early for our reservation and the hotel let us check in. The view was absolutely AMAZING, sure the hotel itself could use some updating, but with a view like the one we had, casinos right […] up the street, and a beautiful drive into Nevada, you really don't think twice about updates it could use. The sand was literally off the steps of the hotel and then the lake. I hope that the hotel will make the slight upgrades it needs, but overall it was a GREAT place, and we recommend everyone to stay at this hotel. Lisätietoja

This was our first stay here for a snowboarding trip. We were upgraded to a corner room, which had lots of space, full kitchenette, and great views. the hotel is within walking distance to restaurants, which is a big plus. The staff was very helpful and friendly. I would deinitley likeot stay here again and would recommend to others.

Great place to stay in Tahoe, beautiful view to the lake, great apmosphere, my girlfriend and I absolutely love the place, WILL go back for a second and third and fourth time.

I have stayed here a few times and as always its a pleasure. Clean rooms comfy beds and close enough to everthig but far enough away when its time to relax. One thing i didn't know is there is no 24 clerk on duty so be careful dont lock yourself out your room like i did. But there is a 24 hour number in lobby where someone can come but it may take a […] little bit. But this is a great place to stay and i look foward to staying there many more times. The room was really comfortable and warm. After skiing all day we spent two hours in the outdoor jacuzzi looking at the full moon.....fabulous.

Keeping things in perspective, this is a reasonably good place to stay for a ski trip. It is not the newest place in town, and not close to the downtown area, but if you are in Tahoe you probably did not get there without a car! This hotel is so welcoming and home-like. For the price you pay, you get more than what you would get at some four start hotel with attitude. The people are welcoming. The hot tub is awesome; the sauna on the 2nd floor is small but cool. Waking up right on the lake is spectacular. This motel is right on the lake. No other hotel in the area gets you this close to the water. The scenery is beautiful until you look down and see the beach dotted with goose poo. Watch your step! The hotel itself looks like it hasn't been remodeled since 1975. If you stay on a lower floor, you can hear the boards creak from people walking around on the higher floors. The furniture was a beautiful, rustic log style. Very appropriate decor for the hotel. Internet access was easy to use. I did not use the spa, but the lovely smell of eucalyptus eminated from the room it was in. The continental breakfast did not offer as much as other hotels that I have been to.
