My boyfriend and I stayed at the Lakeshore lodge and spa, for 3 days. We booked our room at hotels.com, a great website. First off, let me say that we arrived 2 hours early for our reservation and the hotel let us check in. The view was absolutely AMAZING, sure the hotel itself could use some updating, but with a view like the one we had, casinos right […] up the street, and a beautiful drive into Nevada, you really don't think twice about updates it could use. The sand was literally off the steps of the hotel and then the lake. I hope that the hotel will make the slight upgrades it needs, but overall it was a GREAT place, and we recommend everyone to stay at this hotel. Lisätietoja

This was our first stay here for a snowboarding trip. We were upgraded to a corner room, which had lots of space, full kitchenette, and great views. the hotel is within walking distance to restaurants, which is a big plus. The staff was very helpful and friendly. I would deinitley likeot stay here again and would recommend to others.

Great place to stay in Tahoe, beautiful view to the lake, great apmosphere, my girlfriend and I absolutely love the place, WILL go back for a second and third and fourth time.

I have stayed here a few times and as always its a pleasure. Clean rooms comfy beds and close enough to everthig but far enough away when its time to relax. One thing i didn't know is there is no 24 clerk on duty so be careful dont lock yourself out your room like i did. But there is a 24 hour number in lobby where someone can come but it may take a […] little bit. But this is a great place to stay and i look foward to staying there many more times. The room was really comfortable and warm. After skiing all day we spent two hours in the outdoor jacuzzi looking at the full moon.....fabulous.

Keeping things in perspective, this is a reasonably good place to stay for a ski trip. It is not the newest place in town, and not close to the downtown area, but if you are in Tahoe you probably did not get there without a car! This hotel is so welcoming and home-like. For the price you pay, you get more than what you would get at some four start hotel with attitude. The people are welcoming. The hot tub is awesome; the sauna on the 2nd floor is small but cool. Waking up right on the lake is spectacular. This motel is right on the lake. No other hotel in the area gets you this close to the water. The scenery is beautiful until you look down and see the beach dotted with goose poo. Watch your step! The hotel itself looks like it hasn't been remodeled since 1975. If you stay on a lower floor, you can hear the boards creak from people walking around on the higher floors. The furniture was a beautiful, rustic log style. Very appropriate decor for the hotel. Internet access was easy to use. I did not use the spa, but the lovely smell of eucalyptus eminated from the room it was in. The continental breakfast did not offer as much as other hotels that I have been to. This is a nice "Motel" well placed on the beach close to all that one needs: shops - water sports - restaurants and activities. Good roomm with twin Queens - OK for family. "Rustic furniture" Pool + spa - right on the beach. Ask for a ground floor room. Breakfast is rather limited however.

There was a beautiful view of the lake. It made a very peaceful getaway. There are kayak, jet ski, boat rental a short walk away. The only thing that might be a problem later in the summer is no air conditioning. They did have a fan if needed. For the winter time they have a fireplace.

The hotel is right on the beach in South Lake Tahoe. Couldn't have asked for better access.

The outside of the complex is very decieving, inside the rooms are fairly roomy, the decor is rustic but homie. The beds are on the soft side, but comfortable enough to sleep in. The vanity and bathroom area are very small, only one person at a time. The sink was in disrepair as was some of the walls. We came mid-week and were upgraded from our order - 2 queens with kitchen - to a room with a panoramic view. Our room opened up onto the beach! Out of our windows was the lake, mountains, and a beach covered in snow. We could let our 3 year old just play outside our window, which was perfect. Having the kitchen was great, so we could cook our meals […] rather than eat out. It was equipped with everything we needed (and a safeway just 2 blocks away) A couple of small details drop this place down to 4 stars. The beds were so soft and squishy and we found ourselves rolling about too much. The blankets were polyester and not nice on the skin. And, though we did all of our own cooking, I am always a little sad about the "included" continental breakfast at places like this... muffins and machine coffee/hot chocolate. great location, great service, great view, bad bathroom condition.

Pros: Nice Friendly Staff, very good view of the lake and comfortable beds. Cons: Could use a TV upgrade (small 13" TV in rooms)

Older hotel needs updating and maintenance. Staff very nice. Rooms small, no A/C , log bed frame way too big for room size. Wires hanging in hallways ? Old key locks, Lodge on beach with some improvement could be great place.

hôtel qui aurait besoin d'un ravalement extérieur, néanmoins,la chambre est très confortable et la vue sur le lac est à couper le souffle. Accès direct sur la plage pratique, un supermarché juste à côté et des restaurants à proximité.
