This hotel is in prime location about 500 feet from the Quicksilver lift. Less than 5 minute walk to Main street in Breckenridge. The valet and front desk staff were awesome and took care of our car and luggage while we went snowboarding for the day. This was our first time to Breckenridge and we had a great stay. The hotel room and staff was top notch! We only stayed two nights so we did not have any interaction with the cleaning staff (they don't clean your room unless you stay 4 nights or more), however we were able to call down and have them deliver everything we needed (extra towels, blankets, […] etc.). The front desk staff was very helpful. The location to the mountain was perfect, we walked right to the lift in the morning. We had a fabulous time at the Village. Close to the lifts, ski rental, everything within walking distance, including shops and such for my non skiing husband. My son, my husband and I all had a great time. Service at the Hotel was excellent. Just be aware that Hotels. com does not charge the service fee, so that was an extra $20 some bucks a night. […] Each studio condo appears to be individually owned and decorated, so we saw some we would have preferred to be in, but ours was comfortable with a full kitchen and nice view of the mountains. 5 min. walk to ski lift. My wife and I stayed at a one bedroom condo in this hotel for five nights at the end of January. We are happy with the size of the unit and its location relative to the main shopping area of Breckenridge and only a short walk to the Quick Silver Chair. Undercover car parking is also good. After spending one week at Aspen and one week at Beaver Creek […] before in similar condos we are disappointed that there was no daily maid service. While the kitchen is large enough there are not enough cups and bowls. We had to turn on the dishwasher more often than we wish to. Very comfortable and extremely convenient to slopes, restarants, ski rentals, and other shops. Only cleaned the condo every two days, but that was OK. Always brought extra bottles of water upon request. Overall, great experience.

The location of this hotel is fabulous. You can walk to the Quicksilver lift in less than 5 minutes and the Main St. shops and restaurant are so close too. We stayed at the Village at Breck in Jan 2013 and had a great time. The location was fabulous, the staff were very accommodating and generally helpful. We had booked a queen bed, but the bed felt awfully small. Couldn't get the lights above the lounge area to go. Asked over three days for this to be fixed before it finally was. We were impressed to […] have bottled water on arrival, but it would be helpful if there was an accompanying note explaining about possible altitude effects for first time visitors. Lots of room in the Shavano condos (sofa sleeper, 2 twin beds & 1 king bed), large kitchen with updated appliances, 2 bathrooms, BIG closets, 3 huge flat screen televisions. We came up to celebrate our 10 year anniversary and to experience Oktoberfest so we needed a place to stay that was close to Main St. And also convenient to stay with our 2 kids. This hotel complex is pleasant looking from the outside. We booked a 2-bedroom which means we end up in privately owned condos that they manage and rent out. Some are great and some are okay. I rented a two bedroom condo. My guests arrived before I did and they were turned away without any parking to wait for me to arrive. They went and found another hotel and then this hotel refused to downsize me even though there were rooms available, claiming that they could not refund me any money. The condo key failed 50% of the time trying to get […] into the building. And that also happened to other guests, having to call people from their rooms to come downstairs and let them in. The closets were full of construction and decorating material. The bathrooms smelled of mold and tiles were falling off. One of the toilets ran constantly. Other than that, it was clean. The Village at Breckenridge Bld 5 was as advertised and priced accordingly. Our condo was extremely small and very dark. It amounted to a kitchen, bathroom, couch, bed and bathroom, period. Not to mention a massive t.v. mounted over the kitchen counter. The front desk staff was very friendly and professional. My daughter and I were there to ski and […] ski we did. The location of the room was perfect to strike out early in the morning for the slopes and even tuck back for lunch before heading back out. We did find ourselves looking for things to do outside of the room in the evenings because the room was just sooooo small. The valet for the skis and boards and car was very useful. I would recommend this property for anyone visiting who is planning on spending most of their time out and about. Bearing in mind the price and location as the major draws to this property. We upgraded an already expensive suite to a two bedroom suite. Upon arrival the soap dispenser in one of the bathrooms was sitting on the toliet, so the insulation in the walls and 2x4's were exposed, thus unable to use the shower. Called, and maintainence came up and repaired it, but still un-useable because the 'chalking' had to dry. Next day shower […] in the master bathroom and the tub was totally plugged. Didn't want to wait for maintenance, again so just left it hoping it would just drain through out the day while we were skiing. Wrong. Water just stayed there. ~When you pay this kind of money you expect daily maid service-NO, Fresh towels-NO No salt/pepper, no dishcloths to clean counters. Horrible pans, teflon completely coming off frying pans. Un-usable. ~Oh, and check out time is 11:00am and housekeeping came into our room at 9:00! Big Disappoinment! The location is fabulous. Can walk everywhere, but the accomodations were poor. Everything was reported to management who actually had a poor attitude about it. We have stayed in many places in Breckenridge, because this is one of our favorite mountain towns, but will never stay here again. The location was great and we were located right at the Quick Silver Ski Lift. Service was nice at the desk. Staff weren't quick to refill stuff but if you asked for it they were very nice and helpful. The room on checkin and the hotel were very clean.

The room was great, but the bed was aweful!! They also charge $20 resort fee each day (which I knew about) but I think it's a bit ridiculous. Also had to pay an extra $15 our last day to leave the car in the garage while we skied. All in all it's a great place and great location that you can't beat! would stay here again

I have stayed here many times and chose this resort because of multiple factors. The location is great, the room is good, and the staff were friendly and helpful. However, this past visit will be our last. The hotel staff, while still effective at their jobs, have completely lost their personal touch. The customer service we received this past visit […] was less than stellar. We have a group that meets bi-yearly, traveling over 12 hours to enjoy this resort. We don't expect to be catered to, however the lack of basic customer service skills with the staff has helped us make the decision that this resort is not the choice for us. This last visit felt less like the usual "visit with family" and more corporate culture "how can we make a dollar". If you don't mind being a customer in the revolving door of corporate culture, this is still a great resort for you. We were very happy with our experience. I had read many reviews and made sure to ask for a renovated room. When we first arrived, I honestly was a little concerned that our room wasn't going to be nice (because while the reception area is clean and renovated, the elevator area isn't, and the hotel smelled of lysol). We got to our room, and the room […] was fine but the refrigerator was making a loud whirring noise, so I called down and asked to be moved to another room. The staff is SO FRIENDLY and accommodating. They moved us immediately. The 2nd room was perfect -- nice with an updated bathroom (that had a built-in heater!), new appliances and a beautiful view of the mountains. The best part of this hotel/condo is that it's right around the corner from the ski lift and ski school, so I would definitely come back just for that. It's also right around the corner from Main st, so we walked everywhere and didn't even use our car after we parked it the first day. I wouldn't call this a 'resort' -- it's actually called an 'inn' on the building, and is a bunch of condos owned by various homeowners. For the location and place itself, this is a great value.
