Food in the restaurant is excellent, with Indian & English food cooked freshly and piping hot. Hotel rooms are also excellent BUT if you need WiFi then please, please stress at the time of booking as the room I was in was too far away to pick up the signal.

Hotel is excellent. Rooms superb and clean, free wifi in bedrooms. Restaurant is excellent - the food is superb. Staff helpful and friendly. Excellent on site parking too; ideal for south London.

We used this hotel just for an overnight stay before catching a plane at LGW. It was very acceptable for our purposes. The room was spacious enough, clean, comfortable; the bathroom was fine too. This is a place to sleep before leaving from, or after arriving at Gatwick. It is not more than it claims to be. It does the job, functional if not exciting. I got there at midnight and check in took an inordinate amount of time without explanation. But that was the only fault.

Convenient for an early morning flight from Gatwick. Hotel was clean. Beds were hard and uncomfortable. The staff were friendly enough although there was actually very few of them - had to wait a long time for a barman to appear and the man on reception kept vanishing too. barman then waited at tables between serving drinks. The car park was very full, the whole hotel experience was very basic. The adjoining Pub/Restaurant service gave the feeling it was there first night at the place, not organised or well staffed.

We booked this hotel for the night before an early start at Gatwick Airport, as it was good value, we had used the Days brand before, and it said it had an airport shuttle. What it didn't say was the airport shuttle only started at 6am - two hours after we needed to leave, and any earlier starts had to get a taxi - at a much higher cost. My wife and I stay here one night to catch a flight at Gatwick the next morning. This is a great hotel for that purpose. Ten minutes drive to the airport or they have a shuttle. Clean, comfortable, and spacious room. And we got the wake up call when we asked for it.

We were picked up from Gatwick South Airport not long after phoning and on arrival at the hotel we were given our room. I enjoyed my stay very much. I got the motel shuttle from the airport and returned to the airport the next day the same way. The staff was very courteous and helpful. Mid-standard hotel fair priced. Ok for short stay or overnight. But in my case Dec 19 the room was cold, too cold for comfort. Borrowed a blowdryer in the reception (the one in the room was o/s) to warm up the icy bedsheets. Did not take my late-evening shower because the water was to cold and was really angry over that but to tired to complain. Very dated, Although we arrived at 03.00am the reception staff was friendly and efficient. The room on the other hand had seen better DAYS. Possibly the most tired and uncomfortable bed I have ever slept in. I would not stay here again

After arriving at just after 11pm I found the doors locked. I could see two people behind the reception. One was serving a customer, the other looked at me, no acknowledgement, but eventually came to unlock the door. Before I got in, he turned and walked away. No hello, welcome or contact of any kind. Half way through being sorted the other guy, who I think might have been the manager, interupted the computer in order to sort out the guest behind me. Just very cold and ignorant. Room was fine, clean and spacious. Bathroom was fine and for one night this was very adequate! Took a while to sort the air con out, but got there in the end. Staff was very kind, i didn't had any problems, the only problem is the location, but once you get used to it is wonderful having gatwick airport at 10 minutes and with cheap fares. Horley is a little bit further than expected from central London but i needed a Hotel that was close to the airport to arrive late and depart early so it was a good option. […] The hotel is like 10 minutes away from the train station by foot and service to london victoria is relatively low a round trip. The only bad things was that the TV service didn't had good channels and the shower did a lot of noise specially when guests in rooms next to mine took showers. The hotel was extremely convenient to Gatwick, the rooms were clean and well maintained, and overall it was a pleasant experience. The staff were also very helpful and pleasant. A good choice. I will likely use them again.

Very happy with staff and hotel generally but unfortunately the shower did not work and were not aware of this until the following morning when it was too late to call maintenance. Very helpful shuttle bus driver.

I was only there for 10 hours but; The room was hot due to the A/C not working the street noise came right through the window and the constant noise of banging doors and talk from the next room disturbed my sleep all night long.

My wife recommended it, as she overnighted there 1mth before. I arrived in Gatwick at 8:30am after an 11hr flight, I called the shuttle which arrived a little over 1hr later. When I arrived, check in was at 2:00pm so I had to wait in the lobby. They said the most that can be done was give me the room as soon as it was ready but in the meanwhile I can […] go get some food in the restaurant. When I walked in the restaurant it was closed at 9:30am. I asked if they can make me something simple as I was hungry and had the shuttle picked me up when it was supposed to I would have arrived in time, to which they weren't able to accommodate me. I walked to a nearby gas station and was able to buy a hotpocket, I walked back and asked if it could be warmed and this also was unable to be done. I sat in the lobby and waited for the room and the power went 2 times. I finally got the room at 11:30am went in and the power went again for 2hrs. I asked if I can charge calls to my room and they said no, I need coins for the pay phone outside, yet they couldn't change the US$ I had, "all I had to to was take a bus and go to the bank" (to which I had no local currency). I came out at 8pm to eat and the food was terrible. I asked another person why I couldn't charge calls to which he said I could (by this time it was too late to make any other plans) I left at 7:00am the following day. I arrived from a transatlantic flight into Gatwick and needed an early check-in. The staff were very helpful in arranging a room to be ready. The hotel has been refurbished of late however the parking area is a bit rough and ready. The room was pleasantly decorated and everything within the room worked correctly. No noises to keep me awake at night […] and the hotel is well located for easy access to the motorway system. I didn't try the bar or restaurant but on previous trips they were both fine. I simply needed a hotel overnight next to gatwick airport. It was very "no frills", but sufficient enough for a comfortable overnight stay.
