This luxury mountain hotel is located in the Swiss Alps, 1,856 meters above sea level. The hotel is 1 km from the St. Moritz Train Station, 3 km from the St. Moritz Ski Resort, and 7 km from the Engadin Airport.
Hotel Features.
Kempinski Grand Hotel Des Bains is home to the St. Moritz High Alpine Spa which features all natural massage and beauty treatments, including therapies with pure glacier water, a separate women's spa, saunas, a steam room, a fitness center, and a swimming pool. There are three restaurants within the hotel, ranging from the elegant and formal Ca d'Oro to the cozy and casual Chesa Chantarella. Cuisines offered include Swiss, Italian, Mediterranean, and Spanish. The hotel has six conference rooms with audiovisual equipment and a business center. High-speed Internet access is complimentary. Concierge services, ski and snow board instruction, laundry and dry cleaning services, and secure parking are also offered.

There are 185 guestrooms and suites at the Kempinski Grand Hotel Des Bains. All rooms were renovated in June 2010 and feature televisions with premium channels, phones with voicemail, complimentary Internet access, desks, in-room safes, and minibars. Bathrooms have heated floors, bathrobes, slippers, complimentary toiletries, and hair dryers. Complimentary newspapers are delivered daily and DVD players, video-game consoles and fax machines are available on request. Housekeeping and turndown service are also offered.

Hotelli on tyypillisesti kylän läpi kulkevan vilkkaan tien vieressä ja parkkipaikka jäi tien toiselle puolelle. Hotellin lähellä ei ole muuta kuin paikallista asutusta. Tosin Hotellia vastapäätä oli rinteen alapuolella ilmeisesti samaan hotelliin kuuluva pitseria, jossa kävimme syömässä. Pitseria yllätti siinä mielessä, että sitä ei ensin meinannut edes huomata. Kun parkkipaikalta käveli luiskaa alaspäin niin yllätys oli suuri kun huomasimme tyylikkäästi sisustetun ja hyvin hoidetun rakennuksen. Sisällä oli muutama paikallinen perhe ruokailemassa. Palvelu oli hyvää ja ystävällistä. Hotellihuone oli siisti ja tien melu ei haitannut, koska huone oli rakennuksen takaosassa kauempana tiestä.

The St. Moritz High Alpine Spa is centered around the elements of the Alps, with glacier water, wood, granite, and herbs. The spa has a separate section for women, several saunas, a steam room, a swimming pool, and fitness facilities. Services include massage treatments, and body and skin therapies using all natural ingredients including honey, pure glacier water, camphor, rosemary, and menthol.

Would love to go back, but food is very expensive, Beautiful surroundings, very good service, deserves a 5 ratings and the gym was the best part for me as they had the latest most modern equipments
"Kempinski Grand Hotel in St. Moritz"
A lovely hotel with beautiful grounds and furnishings. We were there for just one night passing through on motorcycles with 2 other couples. The Spa was fantastic and gorgeous. We enjoyed the Bar area with our friends. The Buffet breakfast was fantastic and could have satisfied even the most particular diner. The location was easy to find and close […] to the main city. The Staff at reception were friendly and helpful. We weren't as happy with the staff in the dining room, but we managed to laugh about it!! We would definitely return!! Lisätietoja
"Impeccable Swiss Hotel Standard"
The hotel has just undergone an extensive renovation and it feels like new. The service staff are young, enthusiastic and professional - their service attitudes are admirable! My stay came with a mountain pass that entitled us to free transportation around town and use the cable cars. The bed is great, and comes with a pillow menu, that includes bolsters. […] The inclusive breakfast is value for money...the best spread I have ever come across in my travels, with attention to quality and personal service. The only "problem" is a lack of air-cooling system. In summer when day time temperatures hit 30 deg C, the heat in the room can be hard to take. The rooms come with either mountain or park views.
