Miellyttävä pieni hotelli kohtuuhintaan. Huone oli valoisa, avara, siisti, kaikki toimi hyvin. Paras mannermainen aamiainen niistä hotelleista, missä ollaan tällä matkalla oltu: tavanomaisen "pulla-aamiaisen" lisäksi oli erilaisia pikapuurohiutaleita, jogurttia sekä hedelmiä.

Hotellin sijainti oli tosi hyvä. Yöllä pientä meteliä, mutta oltiinhan suurkaupungissa. Ruokapaikat lähellä ja hyvä aamiaispaikka ihan vieressä.

Hinta-laatusuhde oli mielestäni kohdallaan. Tämänhintaiselta hotellilta ei tietenkään voi odottaa viiden tähden laatua, mutta huone olis siisti ja riittävän tilava, ja sijainti oli erinomainen.

Hotelli sijaitsi kivalla pienemmällä paikkakunnalla noin 20 minuutin ajomatkan päästä SF:n downtownista. Autolla oli kätevä liikkua (hotellissa ilmainen parkkipaikka!). Mutta myös vajaan 2 km:n päästä kulkevalla BART:llakin pääsee helposti SF:n keskustaan. Hotelli oli todella siisti ja hyväkuntoinen. Myös hintaan sisältyvä aamiainen oli kattava (tarjolla mm. puuroa, hedelmiä, jogurttia). Hotellin henkilökunta oli hyvin ystävällistä. Suosittelen hotellia etenkin San Franciscon automatkaajille!

Clean room and good location. Wifi was spotty but helpful knowledgeable staff. Best of all parking was free!

This hotel really isn't that bad. My problem was that they only had us booked for one night, even though I purchased two on here. AND worse, their parking!!! Everyone is double parked and you have to leave your keys at the front desk so that the staff can move move your vehicle when someone wants to leave...horrible!

Dirty, noisy, and nasty. Room was literally in the parking lot, very noisy. Hairballs in the bathroom and overall not clean. Office staff rude and nasty. Insisted on making photocopy of driver's license and credit card together, highly unusual and suspicious. I wish I had stayed somewhere else, even if it would have cost a couple of dollars more!

The hotel overall was just ok. They say you get free breakfast, but all it is a muffin and come coffee. Not breakfast for me. Don't false advertise. Although it's an older building our room was very clean, clean bathroom that was huge! Easy location with free parking. The lot is small but even our full sized truck had a safe, free parking spot! The clerk was very nice and we felt safe and very comfortable!

our room was facing six lanes of traffic..so it was noisy. Lucky I was so tired from driving that it helped to overcome the noise. I also had to turn the heater fan on low to help cancel out the traffic noise. Price was not expensive and it was clean so those were the main selling points.

Eventough the price is quite reasonable, try to avoid this hotel. Hotel has had its best days probably early 70's. - When entering to hotel reception you will first be knocked down with a strong and penetrating curry smell. - Hotel personnel is certainly not focusing on customer service, no smile, no any nice gesture when customer is entering to reception. - […] Hotel is saving on maintenance cost where ever it is possible. It was frustrating to try to open room door, lock marked always red color meaning that it cannot read the key. Key re-programming helped somehow sometimes, but that is always an extra work to run to reception. - Room carpet and floor in general is in disgusting condition, it is impossibel to remove shoes inside the room. - Only positive thing about the hotel is probably the location. Hotel is is in decent condition however it is in need of a update or remodel. Pillows were very uncomfortable and fridge did not work properly froze everything we put in it. Location was in a decent area which was a pleasant surprise.

parking is very limited, you have to park behind someone else if lot is full,then leave keys ay fornt desk so they can move you car if needed,they dont have a key log .you just put your keys in a dish.

The lady at the front desk had a glum face always and no smile what so ever... Rather she seemed very arrogant in the way she spoke as I've she was obliging us by allowing us to stay there. Also, the breakfast was not good at all. Cold muffins and such. I wyc not recommend this place to anyone.

STOP!! HALT!! NO ENTRADA!! DON'T DO IT!! The room advertised online that we were under the impression we had booked online was NOT the room we got. The check-in staff was nice. This motel was the cheapest online. The parking lot was minimal and tight. The wi-fi system was decent. The elevator was outdated and cramped for 2 people at best!! The location […] was okay, but difficult to get to, even WITH directions. The bathroom was ok in the room...but there was a little microwave and minifridge. For the price and location, this hotel was fine. The staff were not terribly friendly, but I did not plan to spend a lot of time at the hotel anyway. It's great to have free and accessible parking!

As long as you need a place to just sleep it would be ok. Very limited space in hotel and for parking on a very busy street. It's old and smelled like mildew but could ve been our air conditioner or the carpet.(?) A good walk to Fishermans wharf but parking is a problem everywhere.

We stayed at this hotel bc the price was decent and the location was great...not to mention free parking. But once we actually got in the room our weekend made a turn for the worst. Our room smelled absolutely horrible. My girlfriend slept in the car for a portion of the night bc it was so bad. We made the management aware of the problem and they said […] they would change our room the next day. When we went to change the room they said that we were too late and they had to give it to someone else. Franciso Bay Inn is a budget hotel so keep that in mind while staying here. The staff was friendly upon arrival. The room was small but had a mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker and tv which is nice. The room's appearance is outdated and could use some renovation, but overall it was clean. the room was incredibly small, very clean. The on site free parking was a big plus. We stayed only 2 nights. The location was very good. Only a 10 minute walk to Fishermans Wharf. The lady at the front desk was helpful in making suggestions of things to see and do.

The hotel is on corner of van Ness and Lombard. If you have a room facing the front you will not be able to sleep due to too much traffic. The owners are unfriendly and the rooms have a funny smell. Overall you can find better places in san francisco for this kind of money.

For a budget hotel I was pleasantly surprised. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff took care of our every need. Parking was ample and free. The location is ideal for many parts of the city. Request a room with a windowseat on a high floor - you won't be disappointed. All in all a very positive experience and I plan to return.

I strongly recommend anyone looking to stay in the San Fran area does not choose to stay at the Francisco Bay Hotel. The staff there is terribly cold, unhelpful and you are greeted with rules, regulations and possible fines you can accrue as soon as you step foot in your room. The first thing I noticed when I dropped my bag was a memorandum on the dresser […] spelling out the rules and possible fines for anything from having a pet, to having your personal items stolen from you room. These are things all travelers are concious of and don't need to be spelled out in an Army style Memorandum. I believe I am being so hard on this hotel more in part due to the staff, when I approached the receptionist desk I was greeted with Driver's License and Credit Card that was it. I blame myself becuase I was trying to save a little money and went with a cheaper priced hotel so I received the service I paid for I imagine. There wasn't enough space to park @ night; had to double park and was asked to leave my car key. I mentioned to the lady receptionist that I'll be leaving very early for work, she assured me that someone will be there to hand me my key.
