Albergo Al Cappello Rosso - Bologna

Hotel very convenient to main areas of Bologna, took a taxi from airport Euro 18.00 to hotel. Staff very helpful. Breakfast good. I was able to walk around the town easily. Room good size, staff left a chocolate by bed every evening, nice touch.

The location is great and the Hotel is very good and the Staff is very friendly. I really recommend this Hotel.

This little hotel is right in the middle of the best part of Bologna for visitors. You can walk to everything historical and also participate in local things that make you feel right at home. The bowl of apples and the espresso machine in the lobby are nice amenities and the Farina restaurant is very good for a glass of wine or a dish cooked in the […] "slow food" style. Room was incredibly small..... distance between the bed and dresser/desk was about 12 inches....

This hotel was just around the corner from Piazza Maggiore in Bologna. Had lots of extra little touches that made it a great place to stay for our one night in Bologna.

We tried two rooms. The first had an a/c unit that blew directly into our faces and could not be controlled (by direction or temp). The staff moved us and that a/c failed all together. The staff offered us no solutions. Overall, I could never recommend this hotel to anyone. I have written directly to the managing company and can only hope they have […] an answer. You will need a GPS to find the hotel if you are driving into Bologna. This is a really nice hotel, very clean and comfortable rooms and the staff is friendly and helpful. Location is about as good as it get. Breakfast was fantastic.

This hotel was just a little gem. It is situated literally off the main square and everything in Bologna is easily within walking distance. Not only that but the hotel actually have bikes they will lend you if you want! On top of that they offer free walking tours of parts of the city e.g. Medieval part of the city at the weekends. The staff are more […] than helpful and went to lengths they didn't have to in order to accommodate us. Free internet available in lobby. Free tea/coffee machine available in lobby. Breakfast is a good spread. Decor of the hotel is very unique and is maintained throughout the bedrooms also. Bedrooms and bathrooms are absolutely spotless and they even have a pillow menu that you can choose the most suitable pillow for your needs or preferences! Could not fault this hotel in any way. Great hotel in a fantastic location at the heart of Bologna and at a good price. The hotel is quiet depite being just around the corner from the centre of the city and the staff are friendly and helpful. We were delighted and look forward to returning soon.

A very friendly and welcoming hotel. Very helpful at all times. Given the centro storico location, the car parking arrangements in th nearby piazza were very satisfactory. The breakfast selection was outstanding.

Front desk was very helpful with directions to sights, restaurants, beauty parlor and shopping. Everything within walking distance.

We used our GPS system to find this hotel. Don't know how we would have ever found the location without it as the hotel is on a narrow side street. Location is close to the main sights. A good breakfast is included in the price. Parking is not included; we had to pay separately for an off-site garage.

The Albergo Al Cappello Rosso is a very nice hotel in a non-touristy Italian city. It is well located just off the main square. The rooms are beautifully appointed if a bit small. The breakfast that came with the room was very good with higher quality items. (We particularly loved the espresso.)

Ett toppen hotell med jättetrevlig personal och bra frukost. Ligger "runt hörnet" från alla servärdheter. Känns lyxigt med så extra detaljer som morgonrockar, badkar och te/kaffe på rummet.

Sehr schönes Hotel mitten im Zentrum von Bologna. Sehr empfehlenswert, in keinem Fall ein Auto notwendig, da Parken so gut wie nicht möglich.

Dejligt og roligt beliggende hotel i en stikgade bag Piazza Maggiore og de vigtigste attraktioner.Værelserne er pæne i afstemte farver og badeværelset komfortabelt med badekåbe og tøfler.På værelset er der elkedel med kaffe og tebreve. Albergo al Cappello Rosso is een prettig en goed verzorgd hotel in het centrum van Bologna. Wij kregen de romantische verrassings kamer en deze was erg leuk. Personeel was erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Zeker een aanrader dus.

Glimrende beliggenhed tæt på seværdigheder og butikker. Fint værelse. Meget hurtig reaktion på ekstra behov. God morgenmad.

Rigtig god service, og hotellet ligger helt utoligt centralt. Det betyder også, at der er noget støj fra gaden/piazza Maggorie.

Das Hotel Albergo Al Capello Rosso befindet sich in einer kleinen Gasse nur wenige Meter vom Piazza Maggiore entfernt. Die Lage ist super. Da die meisten Geschäfte und Restaurants rund um den Piazza Maggiore liegen, kann man zwischendurch immer wieder schnell ins Zimmer, um die Einkäufe abzulegen. Die Lobby befindet sich in einem kleinen Nebenraum. […] Der Empfangbereich besteht aus einem kleinen Tresen, der vor den Lift gequetscht wurde. Das Personal ist freundlich und zuvorkommend und hat solide Englischkenntnisse. Wir hatten das Zimmer 303. Dies hat eine ausreichende Größe und hat uns recht gut gefallen. Es ist alles in rot gehalten. Wir hatten gute Matratzen, einen riesigen Safe und im Fernsehen gibt es ZDF, RBB, BBC und CNN. WLAN ist kostenfrei. In der Lobby gibt es auch einen PC mit Drucker, an dem man kostenlos die Bordkarte ausdrucken kann. Das Bad des Zimmers 303 ist angenehm groß. Shampoo, Duschgel, Bodylotion und Bademäntel; alles war vorhanden. Das Frühstück gab es im angegliederten Restaurant, das uns vom Ambiente sehr gut gefallen hat. Das Frühstück war normal. Es war alles da: Müsli-Ecke, Wurst- und Käseaufschnitt, Rührei, frisches Obst und Gebäck. Es gab ganz besonders leckere Hörnchen und Croissants und jede Tasse Kaffee wurde frisch zubereitet. Een in een stille straat gelegen hotel midden in het centrum van de stad, met een uitstekende service, een goed restaurant, goede kamers (hoewel niet groot) en zeer behulpzaam personeel.
