We thought we were booking the Super 8 located a few blocks south of this one. There is no comparison between the two! The desk clerk was courteous and welcoming. Beyond that, this Super 8 was sub-standard all the way. Well they gave away my room before I got there had to have a queen bed when I booked a king and paid in advance.spa didn't work computer was broke for guest to use. This first time using hotels. Com we always stay at comfort inns and have choice rewards.don't know if I will ever use hotels. if you need a place just to sleep and not use hotel for anything else it is okay. U get what u pay for. Very run down. i wanted a hot tub and they advertise that they have one but they dont actually cuz they have it boarded up. but for our other need of being close to Mayo clinic it was fine.

Its true. I mean the cheap rooms arent perfect, they're older and need updating, not the most comfortable mattress ever. But if you upgrade to a suite, you get a bit more for your money. And you'll be a bit more comfortable. The staff was nice, very helpful, and easy to work with. The breakfast was good, better than coffee and donuts but its no hilton […] or marriot. I was very disapointed upon arrival to find out that the pool etc. was out of order and had been for some time. I picked this hotel because they were reasonable, close to clinic and because it had a pool for my son to have some fun the night before tests and appointments. Now if this was out of order I should of been told (notified) when making reservation […] or/and before arrival. As to our room, my son woke up several times itching with white bumps on him. I believe them to be bed bugs! No I didnt report this as I couldn't wait to get out of there. We couldn't check out fast enough. I decided to drive us to the clinic so that we wouldn't have to come back on the shuttle. Yet that was another reason I picked this hotel. stayed here for my birthday weekend with my husband. very comfortable was very satisfied with the cleanliness of the hotel.

The Super 8 that my wife and I stayed at was close to everyone that we wanted to see on our 3 day weekend. The pool was a great bonus and a relaxing place to just take a dip after a long 6 hour drive. The breakfast was a good start for the following day.

Hotel was inexpensive and close to the downtown area, so it was good for my needs (just needed a place to stay for one night while visiting). The hotel had kind of a weird smell throughout the entire place, and the mattress was uncomfortable. Overall, I didn't get a very good night's sleep. Staff were very friendly. the first 2 days had alittle trouble with the room being clean but, managment got right on it and took care of the problem.This was the 2nd time I had staied there, somtimes they forget to warm up the poo but, just say something to them and they take care of it. Would, say to everyone this is the place to stay.

overall stay was not good at all. room was way smaller then shown on website. hall stunk like pee. room smelled like it hasent been cleaned. beds like sleeping on springs. pillows flat. will not go back for sure.

This was a good place to stay. It has a pool and spa, had good breakfast from 6-9am, liked that the pool was open till 11pm. Had a bus to take you to Mayo.
