Hotel Paradiso has perhaps one of the best views overlooking Napoli/Vesuvio from Posillipo, high above the harbor, castles and bustle of Napoli. Positives: Great view, adequate parking (on street or public garage), 5 minute drive or taxi to the harbor and local restaurants. The room and shower/tub were clean, the bed large and comfortable. Breakfast […] on Friday and the weekend was very good. Negatives: The hotel, once a premier stay has begun to show it's age. TV channels are not as advertised, no CNN, Sky, BBC or Eurosport. A couple German, one english and mostly local Italian channels were available, but nothing matches the channel guide. The hotel is furnished with 19 inch CRT TV's-no flat or large screens. Wireless is not accessable in all rooms, although it is advertised. We used our laptops in the restaurant or lounge because of no signal in the room. Breakfast on Monday and Tuesday were most likely the remains from the weekend, stale and unappetizing. Overall: A nice place to stay and enjoy the view, or to use as a base for sightseeing and day trips. Not recommended for business use, children or during foul weather when you might be stuck in the room for a day or so. I truely hope that Best Western might push this hotel to modernize without losing it's charm and appeal on the mountain side. Lisätietoja

Hi stayed 2 nights in Nov. All the staff are excellent, friendly and good service. Breakfast buffet was very good. Room needed a complete refurb, is well out of date. Small window with bleak view. Hotel reception and dining room has stunning view of Bay of Naples. Hotel is probably 3 star rather than 4 star. I have given it a very good rating based […] on staff. Hotel is 3/4 miles from main area, public transport is not easy to navigate. Taxi ride to main tourist are and city centre is nine eu, however out of the 6 taxis I used only 1 quoted correct fare, the rest tried to rip me off, total crooks. Loved the room - we did not have a room with a view but did not need it with the overall view from the hotel. Great bathroom, although the room was smaller. It was very difficult to find this hotel, get a detailed map of the area to save time or better yet get GPS. Friendly staff with bell cap service. I highly recommend this great deal.

Is my second time at the hotel. The view is incredible look like a beautiful postcard. The staff is great. I will always use the Hotel Paradiso for my future saty in Naples.

The rooms are very small. However, this seems to be case in Italy. They have relatively good breakfast. Fortunately, air conditioning works well, it is hot out there. Very nice hotel ith beautiful terrace view. Clean and friendly staff. But location is far from historical which is not a bad thing as down town Naples is quite dudgy. The only downside is that it is not easily accessible with public transport, late at night (though there is a metro nearby) about 10 min walk to hotel. A little hard to find but well worth it once you do. The view was incredible. The room was small but comfortable and an added bonus was a parking garage (guarded) across the street which is a must in Naples.

Comfortable and clean but walls thin and could be noisy from neighbouring rooms. Cleaning and breakfast staff's uniform need to be updated, looks like something from the 1960's.

Our room faced Naples Bay and we had a balcony. We sat on our balcony for an hour just gapping at the view. Naples is indeed a very beautiful city. Excellent Service and friendly, helpful staff. This hotel has stunning views, unfortunately, we had a room without a view. However, most of our time, whilst at the hotel was spent on the lovely terrace or the in the main lounge area and we were able to make to the most of overlooking the bay. Breakfast was particularly good, with a good variety of food […] and of course the spectacular view! Mergelina is a nice part of Naples and we felt safe walking around (not like in the centre). I recommend the Funicolare (Cable Car) for easy access to the Hotel from Mergelina. It was a short train journey to Napoli Centrale, which has links to Pompei, Sorrento and other places. There is also a ferry to Capri/Sorrento from Mergelina. I would recommend this hotel overall but rooms without a view are dark and a little claustrophobic. Lisätietoja

The hotel is built on the side of a cliff with the rooms down from the lobby. The view of Naples harbor is magnificent day or night from the upstairs dining room or the rooftop area. Breakfast was a feast with some of the best pastries we had on the entire trip. There was a wedding the night before we left and the flower arrangements were on our breakfast […] tables. It is a two block walk to the funicular, a tube-like way of getting down to the metro. Proximity to Pompeii and Vesuvius was a major reason to choose this hotel and the price was right. At the bottom of the drive down are all the night life locations you could want but on the hill only a few places were open in the evening. The front desk personnel was very helpful when we wanted to change the room type. The bellman shows you to your room with a smile even if you wait until later to bring in your luggage. The dining room dinners are a bit on the artsy side, good but our meat dish did not have much meat. For the sheer beauty of the surroundings, this was the most scenic of our stays and one we would visit again. Lisätietoja

La habitacion era muy pequeña pero muy limpia. En el desayuno habia muchos dulces pero solo un tipo de queso para hacer bocadillos. Luego la amabilidad brillaba por su ausencia. Ah alrededor no hay nada solo buscar la funicular para bajar.

Très belle vue des chambres et du restaurant sur la baie de naples. Très bon restaurant également d'ailleurs ! Seul bémol : l'accès compliqué sauf en taxi qui lui connait ! si vous arrivez en journée, prenez le funiculaire, l'hotel est à 300 m en sortant sur la droite et en descendant. Franchement très belle vue !!!!!

Ett hotell med mycket bra läge i lugnt område. Rummen vi valt att bo i hade inte dcen fantastiska utsikten mot Neapelbukten och Vesuvius. Rummen var rena och det var tyst, även med förnster öppet. Utsikten fick vi njuta av under frukost och middag om den intogs på hotellet. Mycket enkelt och snabbt att ta sig till centrum med bergbanan (Funicular) och […] buss. Ett tips när ni besöker Neapel: Hyr en LITEN bil och teckna ALLA Försäkringar ni kan. Trafiken är oerhört intensiv och det är ytterst lätt att åstadkomma skada på bilen, av dig själv eller medtraffikanter. Lisätietoja
