Front office was not customer focus. Front desk person seem upset when I first arrived, I was not properly greeted. When I left the person working the desk did not even inquire about my stay??? The room was clean, however, the bathroom was old with what seem like mold around the shower valve and the toilet seat was clearly in need of replacement.

"Booked; but could not cancel"
My advise; only take cheap rate if you are 100% sure of going, if 99% pay the extra in case that 1% of cancellation comes up, you can get your money back. At least got credit from hotel.com for 1 of my 10 stays. In order to give a review, you must give rating; that is why I put 3 across the board. Good stop over location when travelling from Grand Canyon, AZ or before to Las Vegas, NV. Very friendly and hospitable reception who made for a pleasant stay.

"Average everything"
Not much to really say, only stayed one night and it was just average. Free breakfast left a lot to be desired - very small table in lobby, no chairs and only muffins or small chocolate doughnuts.

"It's alright"
If you are looking for a cheap place to stay this is your hotel. Don't have any high expectations. Rooms were clean, a/c, heater and bathroom functional. We will stay there again.

"The room was ok, the staff not so much"
Our first impression was of the distinctly unfriendly guy at the front desk. Otherwise, the room was clean and comfortable, though the hallway had a strong smell of cigarette smoke. Would probably not stay here again simply because of the unpleasant attitude of the desk guy.

"Breakfast"
Hotel is a little dumpy but not bad to stay in for s visit to the Grand Canyon. My biggest complaints are that staff are not friendly at al. A sign behind desk clerk says "free breakfast from 6:30 to 9:30 am" the breakfast was chocolate covered mini donuts from hostess, Thats all for real that's all!

"not a great hotel"
the room was clean but only provided the basic things. the internet service was horrible; every 5 minutes or less, it dies on you. if you are just looking for a place to sleep, this is an acceptable place.
"Econo Lodge Williams, AZ"
I would describe this as more of a motel than hotel. Overall ok for a nights stay. There is a bar across the street that was very loud, free breakfast ends too early, around 9 am. On the plus side it comes with free wi-fi, and flat screen tv in the room was decent.

We were met very friendly with a charming smile by a very beautiful girl ( about 6 p.m. August 25th ). We've got the answers to all our questions. The room was very clean and good. Complete calm at night.

We paid too much for what we got. We'd have been better off staying at one of the hotels directly on Route 66, just 0.5 miles down the road. We were first sent to a room that was dirty and not made up. That kind of set the tone for the evening. The pillows had been washed so many times they were just bits of rolled up cotton inside. "Stay somewhere else!!!"
Even though this is right off the I-40 I would not recommend it. The A/C does not work very well, the towels could double as Loofahs or sand paper and if you are taller than 5'4" or weigh more than 100 Lbs they will not dry you off. They have no pool the water is a dingy brown color and the "continenal breakfast "consisted of cheap coffee, imitation […] orange juice (Sunny D) and some mini donuts that were at least 3 days old. No english muffins ,no toast, not even a danish. I felt cheated at the cost of the room, I expected something nicer. "Value for money and great location!"
The hotel is a good value for the money that you spent. The location is perfect and right next to the freeway (40 East). Lots of nice restaurants nearby and good view of the mountains/Grand Canyon railway. Only negatives are that the hotel is a little on the older side and the insulation between rooms could have been a little better!

We stayed here for 3 days and were very pleased with the accommodations. The continental breakfast had a lot to be desired though. Luckily, there was a McDonald's across the road.

Desk clerk was nice.. He recommended a place for dinner with great prime rib and exceptional crusted Mahi Mahi. Clean room, fridge and microwave. Great value for the price.

Clean rooms. The rooms had microwave and a mini-fridge which was very convenient. Hotel lacks enough parking. Due to a crowded weekend the room rates were exorbitant. But nevertheless was worth it with the type of trip we had. Will recommend. Travel during a non-long weekend week and chances are you might get a better deal.

This hotel is low priced, but affords good enough accomodations for a night or two while visiting the Grand Canyon. Grand Canyon hotels, motels and lodges are around $100 or more per night. So driving 50 miles to and from the GC was better on the pocket book. I did like the ability to go online on a PC provided in the lobby. The rooms were a little […] old and needed some minor maintenance, but were clean. The beds need replacing because of wear and tear. I would recommend this hotel as a jumping off place to the GC. I did not expect a lot, so thought it was fine. The breakfast includes donuts, muffin, coffee and juice. The pillow cases were kind of old, so did not look clean. they changed them after I asked. I like the free wi-fi.

Smoking in the no smoking areas A light outlet light socket had a six (6) plug adapter plugged with a Microwave, refrigerator, television, satellite system box and who knows what else plugged it the circuit was definitely overloaded. Pillow cases were not really very clean, bed was hard as a board, carpet need a good cleaning, […] bathroom had mold in shower, AC/heater very hard to get adjusted. Manger not personable at all when told of the smoking etc he did not seem to care although he did go tell the occupant to stop but I had to ask him to then spray air freshener in the second floor hallway. "Not close to the Grand Canyon,Average stay"
When we booked this hotel we asked if it was close to the Grand Canyon and were told it was Very Close. It was a good hour away. So if you don't mind driving an hour there and back then this is a good place to stay for the price. Not anything special at all about this place. You only want to sleep here. The advertised free continental breakfast is a […] tupperware of Gem Donuts and small muffins and coffee. There is plenty of fast food next to the hotel you would much rather visit for a quick breakfast. The guy at the front desk wasn't friendly with us at all, when we arrived at the hotel to check in we ask how to get to the Grand Canyon and he gave us a short answer, we ended up driving across the street to the other hotel to ask for directions. Hotel is: very close to freeway exit (NOT noisy), VERY clean rooms and hallways. "Affordable Hotel"
The Knight's Inn in Williams was very affordable and met our needs very well. Our only concern was the breakfast, which was coffee, juice, and a choice of muffins or mini-donuts. Other than that, we would have no concerns about staying there again.

Old hotel with a few rooms but very clean and good location. Definitely a nice quiet place to stay while visiting the Grand Canyon.
"Convenient location to travelers"
It is very good if you are traveling through I-40. The room is Ok and the price is affordable. Just the towels could be of a better quality, but you have an overall good value to its price.

Close access to the train station and the gateway to the Grand Canyon. For a inexpensive hotel, it was comfortable, had a small frig, microwave, iron n board n hair dryer. I definitely didnt expect that at all. Plan on coming back to the Grand Canyon and will definitely stay here again.

"Abrupted sleep..."
At 2.30 am their suddenly were standing a little girl an her mother in our room, while we were sleeping. We of course woke up and shouted that they should get out... Next morning i confronted the receptionist at the front desk with the situation, and he pulled his shoulders up to his ears and said: "yearh - I had a guy over this night so I could get […] some sleep, and he may have done a mistake." So if you wanna stay at a hotel, were they handle out keys to your room to other guests (what if it had been in the daytime, where we were away = stolen items perhaps?) - Go ahead, but i never stay here again. There were no elevators - no problem for us, but important to know if you have more than carry-on luggage, or have problems getting up stairs. Also, bedspread and blanket were visibly dirty, and floor was not cleaned between guests -- food on floor between bed and nightstand as well as a generally dirty feel to floors and walls. "Harley Riders made to feel welcomed"
For a hotel right off the interstate, it was very comforable and affordable. Many of our friends had horror stories regarding the hotels they stayed in during the 2010 HOG rally. If I had to do it over again, I'd stay at Knights, but request a back room. Lots of traffic noise when staying in a front room.
"Easy Access To the Train"
We only needed the room for one night to stay after the Polar Express and it was perfect. It was very close to fast food resturants and the interstate. It was minutes from the train station and downtown. They staff was nice and even let me use the clothes dryer to dry some pants that got yet during our adventure!
