Äänieristys olematon, jos kadun puolen melu ei kiusaa niin hissi kyllä hoitaa homman. Siivous vähän kehnoa, lakanoita ei vaihdeta. Very good location, only 5 min walk to nearest metrostation. A bakery and meny stores nearby, so it was easy to get breakfest. Staff was very helpfull, and they spoke english guite well. Jos on herkkäuninen, kannattaa varustautua korvatulpilla kadulta kuuluvien äänien takia sekä viereisestä huoneesta, hyvinkin selvästi kuuluvien äänien (mm. TV) takia. Petyimme hotellin palveluun, koska vastaanottovirkailija käyttäytyi töykeästi meitä kohtaan, ja siivoja oli jättänyt huoneemme oven ja ikkunan auki.

Majoituimme kyseisessä hotellissa kolme yötä toukokuussa 2011. Ennakkoluulot olivat kovat, mutta kahden tähden hotelliksi Grand Hotel De Turin ylitti odotukset! Respa, aulatila ja aamiaishuone erittäin siistit ja modernit. Henkilökunta todella ystävällinen ja osasi hyvin englantia. Heti saapuessa saatiin kartta ja vinkkejä liikkumisesta ilman, että […] edes kerittiin kysyä mitään. Huone ok, ei luksusta, mutta oikein puhdas. Majoituimme huoneessa, jossa parveke oli kadulle päin ja kadun äänet kuuluivat huoneeseen erittäin selvästi. Samoin kuin muiden asiakkaiden äänet käytävästä. Tämä ei kuitenkaan meitä haitannut, koska kierrettiin päivät nähtävyyksiä pää kolmantena jalkana ja yöllä oli niin väsynyt, että pystyi nukkumaan pienessä melussakin. Hotellin hissi on erittäin pieni, max 2 hlöä kerrallaan. Hotellissa viisi kerrosta, eli jos kärsii ahtaanpaikankammosta ja on matkalla viidenteen kerrokseen, niin kannattaa huokaista hetki ennen hissiin astumista. Hotellin sijainti oli hyvä, lähellä Pigallen metroasemaa ja myös bussit lähtivät metroaseman vierestä. Bussi nro 30 vie suoraan Riemukaarelle ja Bussi nro 67 taas Louvreen ja Notre Dameen. Metrolla pääsee tietysti myös joka puolelle Pariisia. Yöelämästä en osaa sanoa, ei käyty. Turvallista aluetta ainakin päiväsaikaan ja iltasella. Hotellin aamiainen maksoi 8 €/hlö ja sisälsi croisantin, sämpylän, pullan, jogurttia, muroja, sulatejuustoa, marmeladia, mehua, teetä ja kahvia. Hintansa väärti kun syö kaikkea mahansa täyteen! Suosittelen hotellia varsinkin, jos ei ole tarkoitus viettää romanttista hotellilomaa, vaan kaipaa hotellilta enemmänkin siistiä yöpymispaikkaa ja hyvää sijaintia. Lisätietoja

Huone erittäin pieni ja jostain 60 luvulta ilman yhtään remonttia. Sängyssä ei tyynyliinoja sekä pussilakanoita vaan lakanavilttiviritykset. Henkilökunta ystävällistä, vaikkakaan kuittia ei saanut, joten taitaa mennä työmatkakin omasta pussista. Hotellin langaton internet erittäin hidas, lähestulkoon käyttökelvoton.

Pigalle! Paras paikka asua Pariisissa. siellä on kaikkea, ruokapaikkoja, iltapaikkoja, ihmisiä, nähtävyyksia ja metro jolla pääsee pois tästä kaikesta muutamassa minuutissa.

Vietimme - äiti ja tytär - yhteisen viikon Pariisissa tyttären 26-vuotissynttärin kunniaksi. Varsinaisen syntympäiväjuhlan vietimme Grand Hotell De Turinin lähellä olevassa ravintolassa ja - kas - ranskalainen mies viereisestä pöydästä rupesi tekemään tuttavuutta. Yhteiseksi kieleksi löyti saksa. Mies tarjosi meille sampanjaa ja makeat jälkiruoat, Meille […] ilta tuli halvaksi, samaa ei voi sanoa tästä mukavasta pöytäseurasta. Söimme viikon aikala jokaisen aterian eri ravintolassa ja bistrossa. Hotellissamme keskellä vilaksta Pigallea oli kiva käydä nähtävyyksien, herkuttelujen ja shoppailun välillä, kun tarvitsi pikku lepohetkeä, suihkua tai muuta. Meille kuvataiteen ja historian ystäville Pariisi avasi aivan uusia avaruuksia, joista ehdimme nauttia vain osin. siksi Pariisiin on pakko palata. Lisätietoja

hotellin erittäin helppo löytää.muutama sata metriä pigallen metroasemalta.moderni pieni hotelli mutta vanhaa kunnioitten.erittäin ystävällinen palvelu hyvällä englannilla.huoneen varustus hyvä ja riittävä.aikaisempiin reissuihin verrattuna,tämä jo 6s kerta pariisissa tämän hotellin hinta-laatusuhde ehdottomasti paras.voimme suositella lämpimästi!!

The hotel was located on a quiet street close to the Pigalle metro station, and also within a walking distance (if travelling light) from the Gard du Nord train station (with trains going to the Charles de Gaulle airport). I'm very pleased with our hotel, we stayed with my friend for 4 nights and even it was only a 2 star-hotel, I can recommend it because it was clean, staff was kind and everything went smoothly! Ofcourse the shower was "an experience", but I think this is the case in all 2star- hotels!

front desk helpful with storing bags when we got toHotel early. Did not have breakfast at Hotel but nice Patisserie near hotel. convenient to food shop.

The rooms were a little small, but we didn't spend much time there anyways. We needed an affordable safe place with a working shower and that's exactly what this was.

You get what you pay for I suppose but this was well below the standard found in other European hotels for a similar price. Other hotels included wifi and breakfast but not this one. Very plain and almost uncomfortable room. Actual street was ok but be aware it is very close to sex industry part of town.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Continental breakfast was good value and food was fresh and of good quality - Madame looked after us well! Bed was very small for 2 people to share especially when one is over 6 ft. The bathroom was so small that you had to sit sideways on the toilet! My sisters and I got a great price to stay at this convenient hotel for our Paris city visit in January 2012. There are NOT a lot of amenities, just your baiscs--comfortable beds, very old-fashioned hair dryer and moderately sized room. Breakfast, renting a safe (in your room) and using internet are extra. Hotel Turin is an okay hotel compared to the price. staff is friendly and helpfull and breakfast was over expectations to what i would have thought of a cityhotel like this. I was not impressed when I was told on arrival that the room I had booked 2 months prior wasn't available and I was to be walked to a nearby hotel which was also 3stars. I refused to go as I had researched this hotel on many web sites. Finally a room was made available however I was not made to feel welcome and I had to change rooms the following day. […] The first room also had cockroaches in it. Great hotel, very nice reception, when the first day arrived, they give us a map and circle all the interesting places, and the metro stations! We didn't bring the power adapter, they are kindly to give us one to use for our stay! The receptions are very helpful, they helped us to book a shuttle as well! I would def go back there again. Stayed for 4 nights in November and again in December. The staff on the reception desk are very helpful and pleasant and booked tours and shuttle buses. The hotel is easy walking distance to the metro Pigalle stop and the Green Hop-On-Hop-Off bus with plenty of restaurants and a bistro and ATM close by.

Clean, friendly and close to the metro at a reasonable prices.

Thre people for three nights in a shared room worked fine. The room was, quiet, clean, and with comfortable beds, and only five minutes from the Pigalle metro. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a nice and priceworthy place to stay in Paris.

Location is great, its located in the center of All the the atractions but the area is a little bit scarry. Staff is perfect and very polite and helpfull. At Thisted hotel there is an offer on Disneyland.

Worst hotel ever

Hotel was ok for that price range in paris. Room was poor, no view, vary tatty and dated. W/c door didn't shut and the lift shaft was built into the corner of the room. Claimed to have a bar which was one of our criteria but they just sold a very limited selection from behind the reception counter.

My traveling companions stayed in a hostel not too far away, their room was about the same size and layout and was 50 euros less. The only major difference was that my room had a television. I did read all the reviews before booking this hotel; both good and bad. If your expectations were high, you probably rated this hotel poorly. If you were realistic about getting what you paid for, you would have rated it well and been pleasantly surprised. The hotel is in a great location, close to Pigalle Metro station. The area seems rough at a […] glance but it is very safe. The staff were very helpful and spoke excellent English. (It is worth noting that any attempt to speak French in Paris is appreciated. An immediate expectation that a Parisien speaks English will be considered rude and perhaps reciprocated so). The room was a little rough around the edges but great for the price. A touch noisy but this is true for the whole area and not just the hotel. We didn't eat breakfast here but it looked great value for 8 euro. In my opinion, if you visit Paris and spend time in your hotel room other than for sleeping or relaxing after sightseeing etc; you're doing it wrong. Clean, convenient and very helpful staff. Would definitely stay again.

The hotel is ok for the price. However, we had several issues with it. The was no a/c in the rooms. The hotel closes at midnight, and the night vigilant was rude. Watch out for the sorrounding neighborhood if traveling alone o in a small group. Good breakfast for 8 euros, friendly day time staff, and good access to metro station.

There is NOTHING Grand about this dump! No aircon. Walls thin as cardboard. Bathroom - BATHROOM??? Is that a bathroom? The surrounding area is dangerous so you can't even go out at night. Awful, awful, awful!!!

a little bit shabby around the edges, generally ok if you are looking for a bargain and pretty typical for a 3 star hotel for paris, it's in a nice location, the lift can be painful, and one of the staff at reception is lovely, the other well you feel like you are putting them out

We travelled as a family with 2 young teenage boys. The Room was fairly basic and smaller than the ones pictured on their website, but clean and comfortable (although we didn't spend much time there!) The Reception was welcoming and staff friendly and helpful, pointing out transport services, etc. Reception staff spoke good English! Note: the lift […] is very small (2 person max) and a struggle with cases, so we opted for the stairs. There was no tea/coffee facilities in our room, but there are vending machines in reception and (compared to the cafes) breakfast reasonably priced. There are a couple of City-Supermakets nearby and a number of busy cafes/restaurants and gifts shops. The hotel is well located north of City Centre a short walk from Pigalle Metro and bus services to Central Paris (No. 67 - Louvre/Notre Dame // No.30 - Gare du Nord, Arc de Triomphe) and the Montmartrobus for Sacre Coeur, Place du Tertre). As a musician traveling, the Grand Hotel de Turin was in a perfect location and all of the front desk personnel were kind, friendly and extremely helpful! It was my first time in Paris and a great experience.

We were very close to the metro station and many shops and attractions. Moulin Rouge is maybe 5 minute walk away. We felt safe in the neighbourhood, ate at delicious restaurants and bought wonderful breads and cakes in the patisseries nearby. No air conditioning, but that was not a problem on our stay as the weather was comfortable. A bit noisy at night […] due to the busy nightlife in the area but it seemed to be that noisy if not noisier in other neighbourhoods we visited in the evening as well. Lisätietoja

Hotel in Montmatre. Basic clean hotel with pleasant staff. Can't beat the location, we could easily get to all the sights. Very noisy at night time as we were near the party area of Pigalle. Breakfast at 8 euros is good value

Its a small, clean hotel. The staff was very friendly. However you do have to leave your key at the front desk when you leave and pick it up again when you get back. There is no slipping people by the front desk. Guests who are not paying to stay in the hotel have to leave by midnight and the front desk needs to be informed of their presence. This place was pretty awesome all around, in that it was an excellent hotel for the low price we paid. I'll try to break things down into categories: Front Desk Personnel: Very pleasant; upon our check-in, the manager took the time to give us a map and highlight both the metro stations and bus routes that were nearest us AND where they would go. My primary concern in any room is cleanliess, and the room was very well-maintained. Yes, the walls are a little thin, so keep that in mind if you're a light sleeper or plan any sort of nocturnal activities that don't involve sleeping , but we were never once bothered by any noises. We had a room on the top floor with a balcony view overlooking the street. The room's size was slightly larger than similarly priced hotels I've stayed in in Paris, and has an armoire to hang clothes, a desk with a chair, two end tables, and a small flat screen television. Yes, the elevator is small by American standards, but welcome to Europe. If you have problems with the stairs in your hotel, you might as well go home, since sights like Notre Dame and the Arc du Triomphe will likely tax your potentially cheeseburger-clogged arteries to the max. You know that part in the movie "In Bruges" where Brendan Gleeson tries to warn the huge family not to go in the cathedral? He's not kidding. Do some cardio before you hit Paris. However, we never had to wait more than a couple of minutes for the one or two people ahead of us to use the elevator. Location: Very centrally located; coming out of the hotel, make a right, then another right, and you're feet away from the Pigalle metro stop. You're also near a McDonald's (which has free Wi-Fi. The hotel is not bad in itself, but the fact they are using this time of the year to do building work and are not advicing about it before you book was not on! The location, Pigalle, is quite quirky, with sex shops rubbing shoulders with nice restaurants and smart cafes, dangerous it may seem to some who are not use to rough bits of urban life. this hotel is not comfortable, the rooms are really small. the heat is not fine, the room i was in was really cold on the nights! and there is only a blanket to sleep with.

Very happy with our stay. Staff was very accommodating, communication was easy in both French and English. Location was ideal - within easy walking distance to Montmartre and Sacre Coeur, as well as the Moulin Rouge. The Pigalle Metro stop is just a short walk away, so getting around Paris was incredibly easy. Wonderful shops and restaurants just around […] the corner. Rooms with balconies are ideal, as the hotel is located on a lovely side street filled with guitar shops (for music afficionados) vintage stores and nice cafes. Red light district of Pigalle is nearby, but very tame and we never felt uncomfortable walking the streets at night. Rooms are clean and minimal as far as amenities, but hot water was plentiful. Breakfast is reasonably priced, convenient and offers a good sampling. Building is turn of the century, and charming. For the price, it was a fantastic place to stay, a great hub for all of our activities, and there was in-room wifi, which was a plus when we were mapping out our daily activities.
