We are picky and have no complaints. Everything was perfect. Comfortable, quiet, nice breakfast, easy freeway access making it easy to get to all the places we wanted to visit. Great area information and directions at the front desk. Hope to stay with you again.

We love Residence Inn and generally look for one in whatever location we are headed to. The separations of rooms so our youngest can have his needed quiet time and the full breakfast so our teenager is fully satisfied make the extra money paid more than worth it and on that count, this hotel satisfied. Unfortunately, when we arrived we found the hotel […] to be situated just on the other side of the fence from the local garbage company. Surprisingly, garbage smell wasn't an issue at all but not surprisingly, noise was. Trucks began rolling out each weekday morning as early as 4 a.m. with the *beep, beep, beep* associated with trucks backing up. In addition, some nights there was work being done late into the evening (11:30 pm was the last time I disgustedly looked at the clock) and we could hear power tools loud enough to prevent sleep. If you book here, I strongly recommend you ask for a room on the opposite side of the garbage company fence - which would be an even numbered building. Also, the "free wi-fi" only works if you are close enough to the lobby to pick up the signal. If you are not, as we were not, you are stuck with hard-wiring your internet (which of course only works for one device at a time and doesn't help with i-pads/pods at all). That being the case, ask for a low numbered building as they are closer to the lobby. In short, low/even numbered building = hotel is just fine. High/odd numbered building = not okay. Lisätietoja

Perfect room, extremely quiet, felt like home, next time we visit San Diego we will stay here again.

My hubby and I were looking for a hotel for us and my sis, her hubby and kids. We wanted to each have our own space / privacy and we were able to do this. The breakfast was wonderful as was the evening reception. Just wonderful!

Traveled with my family of 4 and booked a studio. The hotel staff, service and breakfast is top notch. I slept with my 7yr old on the sleeper sofa. It was ok, not very comfortable but fine for 3 nights. We will stay again but maybe this time go for 2 Queen beds.

Condominium style, great Studio room layout, was offered a ground or upper level room. Full kitchen, good size bathroom, could have used a second sink. TV actually has either digital or HD signals, flat panel, should be mounted above the fireplace. Internet is wired only 1.5 down, 768 up. Wireless is available in the Gatehouse. Highly Recommend! On a short weekend trip to San Diego and Sea World we have found our new spot to stay. We picked this hotel based on price, location to Sea World, reviews and it had a kitchen...and it did not disappoint. The staff was polite and friendly upon our late night check-in, the room was perfect for our family, the grounds are well manicured, […] and the buffet breakfast was delicious. The buffet was not the simply pastry and cereal breakfast some hotels have. The buffet had a variety of drinks, fruit, french toast, eggs, sausage, potatoes, and oatmeal along with your standard hotel buffet fair. The hotel offered indoor as well as outdoor seating to enjoy you breakfast. In addition, the parking is free and if you were to need it they have a nice little pool and tennis and basketball court. Located close to Sea World, San Diego Zoo and San Diego Zoo Safari Park, this hotel was perfect for my family. We brought along my sister and her girls for our vacation and everyone had a great time even in the hotel room. There was enough space and we didn't feel overcrowded. Very nice hotel. Looks like it was recently renovated... new carpets. Comfortable bed. Pet friendly.

We stayed here on our last night before flying back to Virginia. The staff were great, and very helpful. I had to return our rental car and needed a shuttle back to the hotel, and the hotel shuttle driver will pick you up anywhere within a 3 mile radius.

The room was smaller than the usual Residence Inn but overall fine with the same amenities. The breakfast was full of many choices and the people were polite. It is accessible to many places like the golf course, the mall and varous types of restaurants.

We were very satisfied with the Hotel. The room was very clean, very roomy and the beds were very comfortable. The Breakfasts were extremely filling and very very yummy. Hotel staff at the front desk was very helpful. The room was clean,but could have been a little bigger. This did not take away from my stay at this hotel. It was for only one night, so it fit my needs.

This Residence Inn is a great property. All the conveniences of home for a great rate. Monday - Wednesday nights they serve a complimentary meal (hot dogs, chili, hamburgers, chips) and beer/wine for 2 hrs in the evening. How can you beat that, you ask? No wifi in rooms, and a little tight for 4 people, but our stay was good. Rooms were clean, and the two hot tubs proved convenient. Breakfast was varied so there was something for everyone.

Large comfortable beds. Kitchen with appliances internet and parking free close to freeway breakfast included though it's not fancy hotel, it's very clean

This first example of the "residence" concept by Marriot was built 30 years ago, but does not show its age!! The apartments are wonderfully private and very large with a full kitchen. The 20 some buildings must be a maintance nightmare, yet they carry it off with great results. The many interlocking walkways and little "yards" make for a very cozy feel. […] We really enjoyed the quietness. Location is, of course, outside of the city a ways, but VERY easy to reach. The only downside to the establishment is that there is a little to little space for sitting to eat their wonderful breakfasts. And, if you come to breakfast at 8 or so (normal time) there is a wait to get nearly everything since all the food tables are against the wall and thus accessable only from one side. Staff was very friendly. Room was large and comfortable. Should mention that due to the close proximity to the military base constant jet fly overs were really loud!

I could have given much better rating, but after seeing more than 15 dead bugs in my room, this is the best I can do. I don't know whether the hotel fumigated my room and forgot to vacuum on the day I checked in, but it was not a pleasant thing to see when I was about to go to sleep. suites with kitchens provide guests with a comfortable place to stay and relax with the freedom to cook their own meals and such.

We are a family of 6 and when we go places we usually have to get 2 rooms at a hotel so all of us can fit. The Residence Inn had a nice suite reasonably priced that all of us could fit (2 beds, 1 sofa bed and 2 bathrooms) and it had a kitchenette also. Everyone enjoyed the room and would like to go back.

We had 2 kids and had a queen suite so that there was a queen bed and a sofa bed. The boys loved sharing the sofa bed and the bed was comfortable. We loved the Korean restaurant that was practically across the street in the plaza called Do Re Mi. The hotel was very convenient to the freeways and it was quick to wherever we needed to go. We stayed here for a weekend to celebrate my girlfriends birthday , it was just a short drive to downtown, gas lamp district, sea world and great hiking trails. They serve a full complimentary breakfast that is actually pretty good. It's pretty centrally located to allof San diegos attractions we will definitely stay here again!

Thats all we have been staying in lately. The free breakfast they offer was perfect for saving money. Always have great beds and nice rooms. Only down side of the stay was the people above us had dogs that would go crazy when the owners left, so they did wake us up a few times. Nothing we are not use to as we have pets.

I could tell this hotel has been around for awhile and have done some upgrading. The lobby needs renovation as the food area.... but the rooms were great. The price and service makes it a 5 Star. I would stay there again!

This hotel is close enough to any of the San Diego attractions but yet far enough away from the hustle and bustle of the downtown traffic. The staff is A+++

Our queen studio room was perfect. It had a kitchen with full size fridge, microwave, cups and plates and a dishwasher. A giant TV with a couch and a place to hook up your laptop with free internet (no WiFi unfortunately) The bed we slept on was also comfortable. While the pictures show a Coke machine to get your soda, it was Pepsi for us (I only mention this as some people are die hard fans of one or the other) it didn't bother me if it was Coke or Pepsi, but just so you know. This hotel is right off the 163 and easy to get to Old Town or Seaport Village, Gas Lamp, no more than 13 minutes I would say. I originally booked this place because of the complimentary breakfast buffet. Unfortunately, I never got a chance to experience that because the line for the buffet was ridiculously long. We have stayed here twice. Once in a two room, and the second time in a one room. This is a great place to stay. More like an apartment than a hotel. heated pool was nice, as was the free breakfast and dinners.

We booked this hotel because its location was convenient to a family wedding which we were attending and because we got a very good rate. We were very pleasantly surprised at how nice the room was when we arrived. It was spacious, very clean, and well-appointed with a comfortable bed, couch, desk, flat-screen t.v., and a full kitchen. I stayed in this suite for 3 days on a trip to San Diego and it was clean with plenty of room,very clean and quiet. I would definitely stay again.Also it was about a 20 minute ride from downtown.Plenty of shopping and places to eat too!

Overall this was a really good place to stay. The room was a good size and well apportioned with the full kitchen. The free breakfast is much more than the pastries and fruit you get at a lot of places. Regularly they have eggs, sausage patties, a few cereals, a make your own waffle bar, bagels, english muffins, yogurt, granola, milk, juice, and coffee. […] Then each day they have a unique item for that day. The first day of our stay was breakfast burritos. The second day was pancakes. We have 2 minor complaints with our stay. First, the pillows were uncomfortable, and there were too many of them. I think they were down, and didn't provide any support. You might like them, but we didn't care for them. Second, the size of the breakfast area is too small. This hotel is not much more than the Ramada next door, but here you don't have to worry about internet - it's free, in-room, and a wired connection. Rather fast too. Free hot breakfast - typical hotel fare, scrambled eggs, yogurt & cerial, etc. Full kitchen with microwave & stove in room and a little food store in lobby.
