Olimme hotellin asiakkaina maaliskuussa 2012 1,5 viikkoa. Hotellissa tehtiin tuolloin pientä pintaremonttia, joka ei kuitenkaan haitannut asumistamme ollenkaan. Lastenallas ja tenniskenttä olivat pois käytöstä, ovia ja ulkoalueita maalattiin, eivät haitanneet menoa. Aamupala sisältyi hotellin hintaan ja aamiaisaika oli 8-11, joskus ovet avattiin myöhemmin (eräänä aamuna 9.05), mutta aamupala oli runsas ja syötävää. Huone oli siisti, joka päivä huone oli päiväsaikaan siivottu. Parveketta huoneessamme ei ollut, en tiedä oliko oikeastaan kenelläkään joilla oli merinäköala huoneesta? Yhtenä iltana pikkukeittiömme lattialla oli 3 torakkaa, muuten saimme olla rauhassa ötököiltä. Hissejä oli kolme (hotellissa oli yli 10 kerrosta) ja hissit olivat kovassa käytössä, ja siksipä ehkä melko hitaat. Allasalue oli siisti (paitsi yhtenä päivänä kun pari poikaa kantoi aamupalansa altaalle eivätkä korjanneet roskiaan pois...) Allasalueelta pääsi rannalle, mutta portti oli lukossa ja takaisin hotellialueelle pääsy oli siitä kiinni oliko allasalueella joku ystävällinen joka avasi portin. Allasalueella oli myös baari, josta sai juotavaa ja pientä purtavaakin päivisin. Hotellin alakerrassa oli pari pikkukauppaa, ja hinnat tietysti sen mukaiset. Seuraavaksi lähimpiin kauppoihin oli jonkin verran kävelymatkaa, bussilla tosin pääsi helposti ja halvalla mm. South Beachille ja toiseen suuntaan ostarille (Aventura Mall) ja halvempiin päivittäistavarakauppoihin. Alueella on paljon espanjankielisiä, mutta pärjäsimme myös englannin kielellä. Hotellissa oli ympärivuorokautinen vartijapäivystys. Auton sai vuokrattua hotellilla sijaitsevasta autonvuokraamosta. Ajo Miamissa oli melko vauhdikkaan näköistä, joten me tyydyimme ajelemaan bussilla edestakaisin :) Alakerrasta löytyi tourist-info, joka järjesti asiakkaita erilaisille retkille, halvemmalla kuin varsinaiset tour-paikat. "Sagamore: Too much not impressed"
I was surprised to find at check in that the hotel had no balconies to enjoy/smoke on in there suites for the extream price I paid for 1 night. The art in the hotel was garbage for being called the "Art Hotel". Wasn't aware you couldn't smoke in the rooms at all or a $250 cleaning fee would be charged if smoke was smelled at clean up. The windows in […] the rooms are nailed shut so you can't even enjoy the beach breeze or escape in case a fire for that matter. I found a pubic hair in the bathroom tub which deterred me from using the jetted tub. Also got to love the handful of $10 waters, juices, alcohols, snacks, cokes, ect that were way over priced laying around the room. I have stayed in MUCH nicer hotel suites at the Waldof Astoria for only $250 a night! I only booked this room because it was walking distance from the event I came to Miami to see and all the other hotels I wanted were booked. Guess I'll be planning in advanced next time so I don't get stuck here again. But hey if your a rich non smoker you may enjoy staying here if all you do is use the room for sleep. Lisätietoja
I went to the sagamore for location, kind of cool hotel, and the pool. All of the above were pretty good. The hotel was not that clean, common areas better than my room. Without being too graphic my standards for a clean bathroom are higher than what was presented.

if you are looking for a nicely priced hotel on the beach with really clean rooms, then this is the place to be. I have often been disappointed with South Beach hotels because of the feeling of damp, but the Sagamore was excellent for the rate that I got. Service was superior. The Sagamore is seasoned with the uttmost superior crew in terms of consistently servicing the customer with the highest of standards. Staying at the Sagamore is a MUST. Romantic luxury + comfort + service.
"Sagamore - not what you'd expect for the money"
For the money, I was disappointed in the room. It was very spartan, the shower was downright uncomfortable - and the staff failed to respond to two simple requests for more towels. Overall the location of the hotel is great, and I would rank the hotel as 3 stars for a 4 star price.

"The hotel is in the middle of everything."
The hotel staff was great, the lobby,and our room was extremely clean. we were steps from the beach and shopping.
Hotel has a great salt water pool and is an excellent location. Great beach too.
"Only place I'll stay on South beach"
I have to say I had my fingers and toes crossed on the way to Miami hoping this hotel was a nice one. My flight was delayed 3.5 hrs and we did not get to the hotel until 3am. I was not in the mood for bad service or a crappy hotel. At checkin, Sagamore's Agent advise my checkin date was Fri., 7/23 and not Wed., 7/21. I almost lost it! It was late and […] I could barely hold my head up. I simply pulled out my hotels.com confirmation and handed it to the Agent. He immediately apologized and upgraded my room to a suit. It was roomy, modern, urban and very immaculate. The location was unbeatable. The pool and courtyard were extremely nice. The art made for great conversations. The lounge was a great place to hangout. I was highly impressed with this hotel. Yes, it's old and maintains it's original construction on the outside but inside is completely renovated and modern. The staff are excellent - warm and friendly, accommodating and helpful. I got a fantastic upgrade and they helped me organize my excursions. I was traveling alone but they made me feel right at home! "Lovely hotel and friendly staff"
Hotel is on Collins Ave, which is close to Lincoln Rd and other main streets with good restaurants and shops. Hotel is next to beach, walk to the back and pass the pool and you come out on the walkway of the beach. Gym is small, only 2 treadmills, yoga mats, weights & bench but treadmill has fan & you can watch cable on tv. Good shower head & tub with […] jets. Nice room decor & good-size small fridge. This was our second trip to the Sagamore. Top notch service, great location on beach and for shopping. The Bungalows are perfect as well as the suites. This hotel is not huge and crowded. "Terrible customer service"
Wanted to check out early because the pull out bed in the sagamore suite was so incredibly uncomfortable and we had 4 adults. They said they would refund us but then they told Hotels.com that they would not refund us after we left. Not cool. We will never stay there again.

"Second trip and still a great hotel!"
This was my second stay at the sagamore in the last 3 months. The service and the staff is still exceptional. The rooms are always perfect and I will be staying here for many years to come if the hotel keeps up the great job!

We had a great stay at the Sagamore. Our hotel room was almost like a house / apartment. We had a huge living room with a balcony view of pool in addition to a large bedroom and plenty of closet space. The art deco was fantastic. We really enjoyed and would highly recommend it!

"Kleine Auffrischungen würden nicht schaden"
Ich besuche das Hotel schon seit Jahren. Zu den grossen Pluspunkten gehören die wirklich grossen Suiten und die gute Lage am Southbeach. Ich schätze auch die Poolarea welche nicht zu gross ist. Im Unterschied zu vielen anderen Hotels in dieser Area sind die Zimmer auch nicht zu ringhörig. Die Zimmereinrichtung ist langsam in die Jahre gekommen. Am […] schlimmsten sind die durchhängenden Couchsofas im Wohnbereich. Sollte eine Familie die Suite buchen, mit dem Gedanken dass die Kinder auf dem Bettsofa schlafen, ist dieser Punkt sicher zu beachten. Ansonsten kann ich aber das Hotel weiterhin emfehlen. Hotel très bien situé sur la plage et au centre de Miami Beach. Personnel très accueillant et agréable. Les chambres sont spacieuses et calmes. Le petit déjeuner reste cependant décevant, pas varié du tout.

Das hotel liegt direkt am Strand und super nah zur Collin und Lincoln - wir hatten eine sagamore Suite gebucht. das Zimmer war an allen Ecken schon abgemackt und roch nach Chemie. Wir haben daraufhin entschieden umzuziehen in einen Bungalow - Zimmer war neuer, roch nicht, Blick auf's Meer, balkon . Der Mehrpreis hat sich gelohnt! Fruehstuecksbuffet […] war erstaunlich gut. "SAGAMORE, EM MIAMI - cult e bem localizado"
O hotel é muito bem localizado (Collins Ave com Lincoln Road). Dá para fazer muita coisa sem ter que pegar o carro, o que é raro em Miami. Tem um serviço muito atencioso. Um grande diferencial são as obras de arte contemporânea (instalações, quadros e vídeos), que dão um clima cult e aconchegante. Valeu a pena! Carlos.

"Prima hotel, goeie locatie"
De ontvangst was super. De auto deuren werden gelijk open gedaan en alle bagage en de auto werden gelijk van je overgenomen. De kamer was kleiner dan verwacht, maar alles wat we nodig hadden was er. Het hotel is op de foto's ook zeker mooier dan in het echt. Het is geen 'stunning' en superluxe hotel, maar het zit recht aan het strand en vlakbij winkels […] en restaurants op Sout Beach. De service gegeven bij het ontbijt was matig, weinig enthousiast en ronduit chagerijnig personeel. De 'doormen', receptie, concierge en de jongens bij de strandstoelen waren wel uiterst vriendelijk, geinteresseerd en behulpzaam. Het is met al het aanbod heel moeilijk een hotel te kiezen op South Beach, maar dit is voor wat je er voor betaald een prima hotel. Lisätietoja

Tuttavia avessi prenotato a tariffa piena mi sarei […] potuta lamentare dell'impressione che l'hotel dà : la mia stanza dava l'idea di vecchio, il bagno lo era e l'aria condizionata rumorosa; mentre le parti comuni dell'hotel sono nuove e ben tenute. sconsiglio la piscina piccola e affollata ( nel mio casi di bambini). "Hotel Sagamore - melhor ponto de South Beach"
O hotel é ótimo. O atendimento é excelente. O quarto é espaçoso, decoração clean. A área da piscina é ótima, assim como o atendimento na praia. O hotel fica no melhor ponto de South Beach, próximo da Ocean Drive, da praia e do comércio e restaurantes. Os únicos pontos que devem ser melhorados são o café da manhã (poucas opções de pães, sem queijos, […] nem yogurtes) e a cama extra que é adaptada do sofá da Suíte Sagamore que é muito ruim de dormir.
