This is the nicest two star hotel (actually motel) I've stayed in. Our room in back was quiet and the staff was relaxed and friendly. Breakfast was good enough, it is what it is. The highway was busy so getting in and out of the parking lot is not for the faint of hearts. It wasn't until the morning that we found the walking/bike trail. Very confortable! Good location!

It was a comfortable bed, clean and well-maintained room, and convenient to area beaches. Nothing fancy but we knew that going in. I am disabled, and requested a roll-in shower, but only 1 room exists and it was already taken. The handicap accessible room we got had a tub that I had to get help from my husband to step over, and that's a fall risk for […] me. Lots of grab bars but still risky. Rip out the tubs and put in roll-in showers in all the handicap rooms! Would have preferred queen size bed instead of double. Good space to move around in my electric scooter. Bathroom vanity very workable, though the makeup mirror was mounted too high for me to see in. Convenient parking. Quite close to our dinner restaurant, Miramar Beach. Found enough to eat at breakfast for my gluten free, dairy free diet- hard boiled egg and fresh oranges/apples. Lisätietoja

Staff was friendly although we arrived an hour before check in we were checked in and in our room in no time. Room was clean and mostly quiet. I would recommend this hotel and will use it whenever I visit in the future!

I've stayed at this hotel several times, but this last time things went bad. Arrived after reserving and paying for the room online. Gentleman at the counter insisted that we had not paid, and asked for our credit cards, both of which he said were declined. We called our banks, and they had said they didn't receive any declined transaction messages. […] They insisted we pay cash, but refused to give us a receipt. In the morning we got the cash back, but we believe it was shy $20. We asked to speak to the manager and were declined, telling us she was out of state and there was no one else we could talk to. When we got home, we found an additional transaction for the room charge on the credit card which was allegedly declined. This charge was also eventually refunded. In a way, we had triple paid for this room. We basically received no apology from the staff for this inconvenience. The room itself was very clean. It was not the room we had reserved and were told that the rooms we had reserved had been given out already, so we got two smaller beds instead of one larger bed. Lisätietoja

I highly recommend this Inn for a stay in Half Moon Bay. It was clean and comfortable, and on the side away from the highwayk it was very quiet. The staff was exceptional, and I would stay there again.

The hotel was as expected - clean with professional staff. It was great to get up in the morning and walk just a few blocks to a path that parallels the beach, which was great for my dog as well as me.

The Comfort Inn on route one in Half Moon Bay is centrally located to the town and only two blocks from the Ocean and the Coastal Trail. Was a great room for the money and had a couch. We were waiting for a wedding to start and some friends were able to hang out comfortably. The only down side was the ice machine was broken so I had to sneak over to the hotel next door to get some.

The Hotel staff was friendly, courteous, and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. It was a good experience in every sense.

Excellent location within walking distance of a beautiful beach. Rooms are very well equipped and nicely laid out. Good value and includes expanded continental breakfast.

We stayed in a ground floor room in the back. Very well maintained grounds - clean surroundings- nice landscaping. Room was very clean - much appeared to be new, and beds were very comfortable. We liked the location because it was about 3 blocks from the beach down a quiet residential street and at the beach there was a long (16 mile round trip)bike […] path as we brought our bikes. Free breakfast was nice- waffles, yogurt, cereal, bagels, fruit and more. Very helpful and courteous staff made you feel welcome. It is on Highway 1 so there is a possibility of road noise but perhaps because we stayed in a rear room we heard nothing. One downside - not a major problem but could at times become one - was that you could hear other occupants thru walls - so room soundproofing an issue. We always travel with ear plugs in case we find ourselves with any kind of noise problem so we were fine. Overall - the kind of pleasant and uneventful hotel experience you want. Lisätietoja

The hotel was clean and comfortable, the staff was very helpful and the continental breakfast was better than expected (although the coffee was disappointing). Also, the location was fantastic - just a short drive to the beach...

i just wanted to say for an Inn it was very clean i am was over all very happy with everything.

For a "2Star" Hotel I wasn't expecting much, but this was a very nice hotel with very nice people checking us in and out. They breakfast was nice, not your bacon and eggs type but a nice continental breakfast with some fresh fruit and cereal if you preferred. The in room coffee was fair, as hotel coffee's go; and they actually didn't charge you for […] the little bottled waters they left for you-as some of the swanky places do!
