Hotellin sijainti on loistava. Remontti oli vielä käynnissä ja muutoin siistissä ja hyvin tilavassa huoneessamme oli melko voimakas maalin haju. Muuten ihan ok, kivat näkymät kerroksestamme (11). Voisi mennä toistekin.

Lontoolaiseksi hotelliksi erinomaisessa kunnossa ja siisti pikkuhotelli rauhallisella sijainnilla. Hyviä ruokapaikkoja aivan vieressä.(esim. italialainen perheen ylläpitämä San Marco ja loistavaa ruokaa tarjoava pub Sawyers Arms) Lähellä Paddingtonin rautatie / metroasemaa (n.200m). Nopea juna lentokentältä 15 minuutissa koko matka. Pieni huone mutta huippusiisti ja nykyaikainen siisti kylpyhuone. Ystävällinen ja avulias henkilökunta.

"Ei voi kyllä suositella"
Respan yksi sedistä oli hyvin tympeä ja puhui huonosti englantia, enkä oikein ymmärtänyt mitä hän sanoi. Huoneen nähtyämme ja myöhemmin asiaa mietittyämme tajusimme että oltiin saatu ilm. joku jämähuone joka oli aivan hirveä läävä!! Olin varannut Studio Doublen jossa piti olla laminaattilattia yms. mutta tässä huoneessa oli tunkkainen ja reunoista repsottava, […] tahrainen kokolattiamatto. Lattia oli vino ja narisi sekä huonekalut olivat nuhjuisia ja rikkinäisiä. Sänky oli aivan liian lyhyt ja kova, ja sängyn "peitto", joka siis oli vanha nyppyyntynyt viltti, ällötti meitä myös suuresti. En sitten tiedä mikä oli syy siihen ettei saatukaan sitä huonetta mikä oltiin varattu, ja näin jälkeenpäin ottaa hieman päähän etten tajunnut valittaa asiasta. Herkkänenäisille tiedoksi että joka paikassa oli automaatti-ilmanraikastimia ja koko hotelli haisi halvalle hajuvedelle, josta ainakin minä sain yhtenä iltana päänsäryn ja pahoinvointikohtauksen vaikken edes herkkänenäinen olekaan. Internet toimi ainoastaan hotellin ala-aulassa. Hotellissa kaksi hissiä, joista toinen temppuili vähän väliä ja jäi jumiin kerrosten väliin. Sijainti sen sijaan oli mielestäni todella hyvä ja ympäristö myös turvallisen oloista. Lähellä lyhyen kävelymatkan päässä Lancaster gaten metroasema, sekä toiseen suuntaan kun lähti kävelemään (tai metrolla yksi pysäkki) löytyi Queensway, josta löytyi paljon ruokapaikkoja ja -marketteja. Kävelimme myös vieressä sijaitsevan Hyde Parkin (tai siis ilm. Kensington Gardensin) läpi toiselle puolelle josta löytyi Harrod's ja muita kauppoja. Kannattaa siis ehkä katsella muita hotelleja siitä lähistöltä koska sijainti oli mainio. Mutta Royal Courtsia en kyllä suosittele kenellekään. Ellei sitten satu saamaan niitä juuri remontoituja huoneita (tekivät siellä nytkin jonkun huoneen remppaa kun oltiin siellä). Lisätietoja

Huone oli mukava ja siisti mutta aika kulunut. Huoneen varusteluun kuului keittonurkkaus, joka sisälsi muun muassa astiat, vedenkeittimen, mikron ja jääkaapin. Varusteluun kuului myös kahvi, tee ja maito sekä sokeri. Maitoa ei tuotu huoneeseemme lisää neljän yön yöpymisemme aikana. Myöskään tarjottuja suihkusaippuoita ei täydennetty. Nämä seikat eivät […] kuitenkaan lomaamme pilanneet. Keittiönurkkaus oli erittäin kätevä, saimme kaikessa rauhassa valmistaa itsellemme aamiaista ja aloittaa aamumme omaan tahtiin. Hotellilta pääsi erittäin hyvin kävelemään esimerkiksi Hyde Parkiin ja Oxford Streetille. Myös metroasema sijaitsi ihan hotellin kulmilla. Hotellin henkilökunta oli ystävällistä ja mukavaa. Ystävällinen ja avulias henkilökunta. Huone oli siisti ja mukava. Ainut ongelma on saarivaltion surkea rakennustekniikka. Talot ovat huonommin rakennettuja kuin keskiverto korttitalo. Ulkoa hotelli hyvässä kunnossa. Hissit, käytävät ja huoneet pikaisen remontin tarpeessa. Käytävää kulkiessa pelkäsi lattian pettävän alta. Huoneessa tapetit repsottivat , kokolattiamatto nähnyt parhaat päivänsa , kalusteet ja keittiökalusteet surkeat. Henkilökunta ystävällistä ja palvelualtista.

olimme viikonlopun ko. hotellissa ja olimme kaikki tyytyväisiä. Ympäristössä useita erittäin hyviä ravintoloita ja Lancasterin metro asema ja Hyde park vieressä. Ympäristö täynnä hotelleja joten muitakin alueelta kannattaa bongailla mutta, tässä hotellissa hinta/laatu/sijainti kohdallaan.

RCA hotel was quite old (at least our room was - there was some renovation going on in some rooms) and nothing fancy but it served our purposes to visit London for a weeked perfectly. Location was good near Paddington station where Heatrow Express arrives and where you can jump in a subway to see all London. Excellent location within close walking distance of Hyde Park, Paddington Rail Station, and Lancaster Gate Underground Station. Many convenience stores and restaurants close by. Our "refurbished" studio was small, as expected, but having a kitchenette in the room was really nice. Bathroom was extremely small, and the bathroom sink was nearly unusable. This hotel is conveniently located to Hyde Park and the Underground. The service at the front desk was helpful and friendly. The room was a little outdated, but for the price it was pretty big, bathroom was modern, and the kitchenette was extremely convenient. The kitchenette included a sink, microwave, stovetop, and basic cookware and dining service. […] The only thing lacking was the complimentary toiletries. "Good value for the price"
We thought this hotel was perfectly adequate given the relatively low price for London. Also, having a kitchen enabled us to save on meal costs. The floors are very creaky so a fair amount of noise from the room above but quiet otherwise, well maintained albeit a very old building.

Excellent location as it was walking distance to both Hyde Park and Paddington Station. Pretty neighborhood with lots of restaurants nearby. Staff was friendly and helpful --balanced the age and not very clean condition (mostly old and threadbare) of the building. This hotel was really good compared to the others that i have seen at this Bayswater/Paddington -area. The room was huge and clean, price was cheap, location was like 2minutes from Lancaster gate tube-station. Only problem was that the kitchen window was broken and not possible to shut completely. "Small flat good for those on a budget"
We chose this hotel because our "room" would actually be a small flat with a kitchen, allowing us to cook for ourselves while we were in London in order to save some money. The price was similar to the hotel rooms we were looking at, and it's in a really convenient location. It's just a couple minutes walk from the Lancaster Gate underground station, […] as well as Hyde Park. The area seemed pretty safe though we didn't venture out at night too often just because we were tired. The room wasn't in the best condition ever (knicks in the walls, etc.), but it was more than adequate. Our bathroom smelled a little because for some reason they had a fabric shower curtain instead of a plastic one, so when you showered it would get soaking wet, making it smell. The hotel staff was pleasant enough, though we didn't have any issues that led us to talk to them other than at check-in and check-out. There's free wi-fi in the hotel lobby on the ground floor, though we could get a bit of signal in our first floor room and use it there sometimes. The bed's were a little firm for our tastes, but we slept fine anyway. Our kitchen included a two-burner, electric stovetop and a small refrigerator, and as far as supplies, we had a few pots and pans, a cheese grater, a large mixing/serving bowl, an electric kettle, a collander, four kitchen knives, and three each of big plates, small plates, cups and saucers, forks, knives, spoons, glasses, and wine glasses. We only had two bowls because that was all that would fit on the shelf with the other dishes. There was also dish soap in the room and a dish towel. (We were also given a dish sponge on our last day there but not before that for some reason.) The area was quiet enough at night, so we didn't have any issues with anything interrupting our sleep. We stayed from 21/2 till 23/2-2012 at the Royal Court Apartments. The maintenance of the hotel is reasonable. Our room was on the 5th floor, just under the roof and was clean, quiet, quite big with large windows and very good beds. A free continental breakfast was offered in the hotel on the opposite of the street. Decent hotel near Paddington station if you need a short term stay in London and flying in from Heathrow. Rooms were clean and had everything needed. Internet is only available in the lobby is probaby the only drawnback.

Room was very nice and big. Kitchenette with everything needed! Bathroom very nice. Girlfriend couldn't find a hairdryer, but that's not that big of a problem. Hotel close enough to walk to Oxford St., so we didn't have to ride a bus at all. Nice and cosy!

Wonderful location, close to Lancaster Gate underground and within walking distance to Paddington Station. The staff was very friendly. It was nice to have a microwave in a hotel room in London as was convient for breakfast and for evening meals on cold dark days.
"Needs someremodeling but great value for the money"
If you're looking to stay in a clean, comfortable hotel on the cheap, this is the place. Very close to 2 tube stations, convenience stores and restaurants. My only complaint is that it needs some remodeling...it's by no means dilapidated or in bad shape but does need to be improved somewhat. Having the kitchenett was fantastic, just don't buy anything […] that requires an oven, they only have a stovetop and microwave.. and it would be preferable if wi-fi was available in the rooms and not just in the lobby and there needs to be more selection on the televisions. This hotel is close to Paddington Station and the Lancaster Gate tube stop, which is why we booked it. It is also very close to Kensington Gardens. The room was tiny but clean, it had a toaster, minifridge and electric kettle and tea and coffee supplies as well as a tray with dishes, cups, silverware for two and a dishtowel and soap to wash them. Very value for our money. Easy to find and Excelleant location. Very,. very good kind and accomodating staff. Our room was cleaned everyday, fresh towels and sheets. The kitchenette was more than adequate. Yes defenitely we would go back. We stayed seven days and we retyrn back. Walking distance to two underground staions.

Wife and I were in London for the night and it was the nicest reviewed hotel in our budget. Walking distance to Paddington which was helpful. Friendly staff, easily found. We were upgraded to a 1 bedroom apartment from our double reservation but were given two single beds instead of the double. Too tired to ask to be downgraded again though. Mattresses […] were a little soft and needed more pillows, but again too tired to ask for them so its not the hotels fault for the latter. "Nice place to stay"
When I arrived I was informed that I was upgraded from a single to a One Bedroom which was a double upgrade. I had a living room with kitchen and nice bath and bedroom. The bath was nice but awkward to get in and out of tub. Nice decor and big windows. It is on the Central Line ( red line) and easy to get to places. Big Bus and Original Tour bus pick […] up about a block away... Lancaster Gate stop. Front desk staff was nice. Kitchen was nice with plates cups etc and nice furnishings...wish I had been staying longer than one night. Bed was "ok" but not great. But overall liked the hotel and experience in general. Very close to Lancaster Gate Tube, and not far from Bayswater which is always a nice place for a little walk.. The hotel was ok, old and a bit dirty, the floor was veeeery crooked/bent in my room. But the price was ok, but not more than ok..
"Adequate and conveniant"
The room was basic but adequate for the price. It was handy to have a small kitchen area. When I booked in they charged me again for the room even though I had already paid but within minutes they realised their mistake and refunded me. Reception staff were very pleasant. The staff were very helpful, especially on arrival. The surprisingly large room could do with some TLC, but even so was great, as it had a separate lounge/dining area and small kitchen. The hotel is placed in a good area, easy walking to Paddington Station, shops, Hyde Park and much more. Would recommend this hotel.

First, the good parts. The apartment was, in fact, a real one bedroom apartment. By European standards, quite spacious, especially for the price. And, they had WiFi in the lounge. But, the place is quite tired and run down. The floors in the halls were uneven and the carpeting and lighting were well past its prime. Furniture in the apartment make Ikea […] look expensive. This was our first stop on a 2 week trip through Europe. We got a refurbished room so it was nice, the bathroom was surprising well sized for British standards, the kitchenette was nice, we were able to make tea and coffee and use the mini fridge for some food. This budget hotel is located just a block from Hyde Park and Paddington Station and near many bus routes. The rooms are very clean, the beds very confortable. The bathrooms have huge bathtubs in them. The staff is very polite and friendly. "Easy to get to"
Good location. Easy walk from Paddington Station - just two blocks. Close to Hyde Pack and all of the attractions. Room was a good size with kitchen facilities. Bathroom OK. Decor a little too dark and room temperature was hot with no fans to cool things down - but we were in a heat wave!

Price was right. WiFi in the lobby only so a bit inconvienient. I would stay again and recommend. But I would advise on what to expect. Found that some of the staff were not very helpful and sometimes rude. But if you can ignore that, the stay was a pleasant one. Location is O.K. but far from resaturants and stores.
