first w e were offered room in half exposed basement with cinamon sweet smell to cover up moldy , musty smell . Than thay offered another room with beds that were not chenged . We walked out and did not stay .I am sorry but I will not sleep in bed with someone hair on it.
"Our room wasn't cleaned between guests"
We were pretty disappointed in our stay. When we arrived we noticed our bed sheets looked like they had been slept in. The fridge was full of leftovers from the previous guests and never cleaned. We complanined and the staff assured us the room was cleaned and the bed stripped and apologized for the oversight of the fridge cleaning, they were currently […] training new staff. We let it go and did not switch rooms, as we settled in a little more we noticed sunflower seeds on the floor, it had not been vacuumed. Also there was so much pet hair in the corners of the floor by the baseboard you could make a fur coat! There was long black hair in the shower, I'm blonde and my husband has very short hair. At this point we were pretty disgusted but were reasonable and asked for our room to be cleaned while we were out. The staff was very accomodating and when we returned the room was very clean, a far cry from what we saw originally. The room was spacious and comfortable. The breakfast the following day was also disappointing. The floor was so dirty my shoes were sticking to it.. The food trays were empty and no staff was there to clean or replenish the food. The staff was great at the front desk but the room had a broken ironing board and one of the beds would fl;p up if you sat on the end. Breakfast wasn't served on weekends intell 7 am.

There was garbage in my room when I arrived (used pizza box). The room was not sound proof. It was very easy to hear people on the floor and upstairs. The breakfast selection was excellent. I also enjoyed the swimming pool so that outweighed some of the other issues.

Older hotel, you can hear everyone above you, on your side, etc, had a smell to it like a very old home musty smell.

We went on busy weekend and our room was so quiet and clean I was so comfortable I didnt want to leave. We ended up staying there in our room longer it was so nice. Customer service was excellent and pool was nice and kept really clean. Really enjoyed this hotel wont stay anywhere else but here when we come to town.
The staff was great, the kids loved playing in the pool, good breakfast. It was easy access to shopping, restaurants and Leavenworth. We had a lot of fun and would use La Quinta again.

We came into our room and saw that the garbage can had not been cleaned I guess just forgot. Later on when I was in my bed it felt a little awkward and I look under the sheet and I see there is a big towel messed up I have no Idea when they changed the sheet they should have seen it or did they not change the sheet? "Too hot and bad bed"
King size bed had a ditch molded out on each side making it impossible to get comfy. The resulting mountain between my girlfriend and I was funny to start but not in the end. The heater/ air didn't work so it was pushing 80 in the room. We slept with the window open so the 28degree air outside would make things reasonable. Breakfast was weak!

"OK for the price- but not for neat freaks."
PROS: Very nice and helpful desk staff. Room was comfortable, although beds were soft for our taste. Location was good for us- we were mostly headed up to Leavenworth and the mountains and it's on that side of town. Breakfast was OK. Typical waffles type breakfast bar- high on carbs and sugar, but also some protein choices. Pool was great for the kids. […] The area is beautiful- the mountains are incredible and Leavenworth at Christmas is pure magic. CONS: Housekeeping was awful. We found half eaten chicken pieces and pop in the fridge when we got there. Gross. We were there for 4 nights and they didn't make the beds or vacuum once as far as we could tell. The tub, sink and toilet were given a cursory cleaning once. It looked like all they did was empty the trash and replace towels. I usually leave a housekeeping tip for multi-night stays and this is the first time in a LONG time that I haven't left anything. Hopefully it was just one bad apple and not representative of the housekeeping in general. There was a card that said "Brittany" was the housekeeper for our room. When making reservations, I'd ask for a non-Brittany room if I were you. With the sketchy housekeeping, the bedding was a bit worrisome too. They used a European duvet type bedding, but these were just two loose sheets sandwiching the duvet, rather than an enclosed duvet cover. That means we were in contact with the duvet and if it isn't being washed with the sheets between guests, that would not be good. Stayed here a few times. Ok place to stay. Looked forward to sauna but it was broken again.

Hotel was nice, bed was comfortable, right on the main drag of Wenatchee. Breakfast was great. Would recommend they get a second waffle maker since it always seemed to be busy. Second time staying there and we will stay there again.
"Great place to take your pets!"
This hotel was so homey feeling and super CLEAN! I was surprised as they allow pets to stay for free. This is a non smoking place which made it awesome! The free breakfast was terrific. Lots to choose from. I just wished they offered cold water to drink. The only bad thing is leaving the hotel an making a left hand turn to go into Wenatchee.

"fair enough"
We were comfortable and well served by the staff. While the teenage girls' volleyball team was loud into the evening, we realize this is just the nature of young people who are unaware of general couresy and not the management's fault. We did want to crack our window at night while we slept, but the window frame was broken away. Not a big enough deal […] to change rooms at that point, but a frustration. "Awesome Weekend!"
I had a wonderful time in Wenatchee and at the hotel and I must say that I would come back again. ONLY COMPLAIN I had and I mentioned at front desk was the Jacuzzi being a little too hot. "Wenatchee La Quinta"
I thought the price was high for what we got. The common areas were nice, but the room was shabby - finish worn off on the bathroom door, main door hard to close, spots almost worn through on the sheets. The employees were very friendly, and the place was very quiet. So overall an OK stay, but I'll try a different hotel next time.

Our room was noisy. We could hear conversation in the adjacent room, but worse than that, all movements in the room above made the walls in our room squeak and rattle. "Road Trip"
We were exploring Washington and randomly stopped here using Hotels.com to book during busy season. Staff was very helpful and polite. Good suggestion for dinner locaiton. While the quality of the breakfast was fine, it was too hectic & noisy for us, so we didn't stay to eat. Nice property, quiet rooms, clean, good location.

The decor was very cheezy and out dated but clean.. The bed was very comfortable. The problem I had was I requested an early check in time. and they were not willing to put any effort to try and find me a room to get ready for a wedding I had to go to. I came in approx 0930, then called at 2pm and they said that "our room hadn't been cleaned yet". I […] felt that they could have made an effort to change the room number to accomidate me. I ended up having to impose on another member of the wedding to get ready where they were staying. The hotel was easy to access from the airport, rooms clean and neat, good breakfast. The only complaint was the absence of an elevator. However the admitting clerk took my luggage up the stairs and was very pleasant about it. Coming down from the third floor by myself was not good...I am 70 year old female.
"La Quinta is always a good choice"
La Quinta is always my first choice when looking for a hotel. This one was clean, comfortable and easy to get to. It's an older building, and the room upgrades aren't on the same par as a lot of the other La Quintas, but it was fine for the money.

"Excellent hotel at a low price."
The hotel is at a very convenient location. On the main road. We were there for the ice festival in Leavenworth. Only 20 miles from Leavenworth. The breakfast was nice too.

"La Quinta Inn in Wenatchee, WA"
Nice room with refrigerator and microwave. The toilet seat was not tightened down, had to have maintenance fix it. There were noisy guests roaming the hallways outside our door. It was a large group of teenage boys with only a few adult chaperones. We had to have the front desk ask them not to hang out in the hallway.

The hotel was great with the exception of the pillows. They were too thick and uncomfortable. It would be nice if there were a choice of types of pillows on the bed.
Had to change rooms (upgraded) due to bedding not having been changed/dirty
The room was ok, but for the price, I thought it was not worth the money. The bathroom had a washcloth hanging over the shower rod, dirty with make up on it. There was only 2 hand towels, 2 wash clothes, and not enough bar soap or shampoo. (Thank goodness there was only the two of us) Wall paper in the bathroom was coming off. We came to celebrate Octoberfest, […] and the location was not far from Leavenworth to commute to the event. Location was great. Close to stores, resturants, etc. There was no signs in the hallway for ice machine, which took me some time to locate the ice machine. Asked for banannas for the breakfast hour. This is a GREAT choice! La Quinta does an outstanding job of providing a comfortable, clean, stylish hotel experience. This hotel exceeds expectations considering the modest cost. The Extremely comfortable bed goes a long way with me! Clean, well detailed rooms and a freindly staff. Excellent experience!
"Convenient location"
We stayed at the La Quinta in the night before Oktoberfest. It was in a very convenient location right on the main road in and out of town. It was a bit hard to turn left into the parking lot, however, because of all the traffic. The staff were very friendly and check in was quick. I was impressed that all the amenities were 24 hours (pool, business […] center, etc.). The one thing I noticed about the hotel is that even though it's entirely none smoking, it smelled very strongly of old smoke. Our room also had a strong odor. I'm not sure what it was but it was unpleasant. The room itself was spacious and comfortable (besides the smell). The biggest problem we had was that the small refrigerator in the room was VERY loud. We ended up unplugging it for the night. Also, our room was right at the top of the stairwell and foot traffic throughout the night kept waking us up. We mostly chose this hotel because they accept dogs. Our poodle had her own chair to curl up in and they didn't charge an extra fee. "LaQuinta in downtown Wenatchee Washington"
We arrived very late, our room was ready and check in was easy at 2:30AM. My adult children decided the 24hr pool/jacuzzi/sauna was a good thing and spent several hours there after we arrived. It was great. The beds were exceptional, it was like sleeping on a cloud. Breakfast the next morning was quick and convenient. Hotel staff were great.
