Staff was very friendly and we got good service at desk in English. There are a lot of "sea view" rooms in hotels (and you see a little bit sea somewhere), but there was total open sea view - excellent. You can get from here to Nizza or Monaco easily by a train, but it takes some time. We are a Finnish family, but we wrote in English, because this was so possitive expierience. I returned to the Garden Beach Hotel having stayed last summer again with my young 9 year old son.Last year I was cursing the very poor Wifi and thankfully after confirmation in advance by telephone the wifi has been boosted and is of acceptable quality. What we had not bargained for was a new age restriction policy for the indoor swimming pool preventing children under the age of 18 from using it. This was a new policy to promote the idea that the pool was actually a part of a smart spa !. Room was not 4 stars, maybe 3...in need of repair, few amenities and had wet carpet throughout hallway. When we brought this to the staffs attention, we got no response from management that night or next day when we again brought it to their attention. The location was perfect for us. We walked to Antibes and returned by the tourist train, which had a convenient stop near the hotel. We found the staff of the hotel to be friendly and helpful.

I regularly stay at the Garden Beach. It's incredible value for the money. This trip I had several business related requests that were all me happily, professionally and promptly. It wasn't a surprise, just a nice confirmation that the hotel is well run and a perfect place to stay when visiting Antibes.

This room was the dirtiest room ever. Additional hidden costs : 15 EUR per person to go to the beach ! 25 EUR per day for parking. Fortunately, the manager gave us another upgraded room for our second night.

The Garden Beach is located in the most perfect spot in Juan les Pins. Right on the beach and walking distance from shopping, restaurants and bars. Only thing that is annoying is the fact you have to pay for the sun loungers on the beach. If you're staying there then you shouldn't have to pay for this sort of thing. The indoor pool and fitness equipment […] is all at extra cost. It would also be good if they had coffee/tea making facilities in the room. Nowadays this hotel could do with a bit of a refurb as it is looking a bit 'tired' but its somewhere we have returned to for the past 5 or 6 visits to the South of France and will continue to do so. Short stay in the middle of the summer holiday season. Weather incredible, after the summer in the UK! We paid extra for sea view, well worth it. Staff were very friendly and helpful, would certainly return. Great location in the town close to dozens of restaurants, bars and shops.

The Garden Beach hotel is in a great location surrounded by restaurants and right next door to a casino. There is a really good coffee shop across the street, literally 30 seconds from room to table which serves good food and great coffee. I say this because the hotel charge for breakfast is really high and there is not a coffee maker or hot water kettle […] in the room. The staff was very friendly and any time I had an issue they were quick to respond. I had a problem with the water temperature fluctuating while taking a shower and they had maintenance there within 30 minutes to look at it. The maintenance tech improved it but the water temp did continue to fluctuate from hot to cold and back again. This happened at all times in the morning so it was not that all the guests were taking a shower at the same time. The room really needed to be refurbished as all the wardrobes, dressers, nightstands etc. were fairly well used. Nothing was 'broke' just well used. Even though we had requested a non-smoking room, and the room was clearly marked as non-smoking, someone had definitely smoked in the room. The front desk staff offered to have housekeeping come up to help get rid off the smoke smell but there were no other rooms available for us to switch. In fairness, the hotel can't really control this so I can't put them at fault although it was a bit unpleasant for my wife on the first night. The hotel was ideally located right in the heart of the resort. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel offered a valet car parking service that was very convenient and reasonably priced compared to the public car park rate. The breakfast seemed very expensive, and the need to pay a high price to use sun loungers for the hotel beach was annoying. […] The free WiFi was convenient for our young son who wanted to play online games from his laptop in the evenings. I was anxious to open the door to our deluxe room with ocean view balcony! I did alot of research for beach front hotels on a sandy beach and we got a very good deal through hotels.com. So I was skeptical that the advertising would live up to the actual room we recieved. It did! The staff was very friendly, spoke english, the view from the room was […] amazing and the surrounding area was very fun to explore with many shops, restaurants and even a casino next door. We walked to Old Town Antibes and enjoyed the sites and shopping. We took the Petit train back to our hotel at the end of the day. Be prepared to spend $15 to $35 Euro for a spot on the private beach with lounges and umbrellas and drink/food service. It was totally worth it to me if you are going to spend the entire day in the sun. There is a public beach immediately adjacent to the left of the hotel beach, but it fills quickly and there is also another public beach several blocks down to the right. Hotel came with a mini fridge, so we walked to one of the many markets near by and bought yogurts, bagettes, lunch meats and salads to economize a bit, as there was no free breakfast. We booked this hotel for the second time as we were attending the F1 event in Monaco. The hotel is in a superb location. We paid extra for a room with a sea view so we weren't disappointed. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable but needs updating, though we understand the hotel is going to be refurbished in Autumn 2010. Great location, right on the beach with fantastic sea views from the dining area and really close to the bars and restaurants. If you can afford the rooms with a sea view it's worth the extra. We didn't eat there so can't comment on the food. We opted to have breakfast at the cafe on the corner opposite the entrance which was lovely sitting outside. […] Staff were very helpful and polite. Room was great for us, very clean, although could probably do with a revamp fairly soon in terms of carpets and curtains. Belli guanciali giganti, un pò meno il fatto che sia la spiaggia sia la piscina nonchè la colazione non sono compresi nel prezzo. Comunque l'albergo è situato in un punto strategico della citta. Vi hade några fantastiska dagar på Garden Beach. Har bott här ett flertal gånger genom åren. Hotellet lite slitet men omgivningen väger upp. Stranden med sin service är toppen. Dock lite dyrt för solstolar borde ingå som hotellgäst. Våra barn älskar vattensporterna som erbjuds på hotellet. Perfekt beliggenhed lige ned til stranden og vand-action. Godt sted at have børn og teenagere med. Skøn sandstrand. Masser af muligheder for at gå ud om aftenen, tæt på hyggelige strandrestauranter og natklubber. Trænger dog til istandsættelse.
