not very good this getaway never mentioned the pool and other amenities where close for construction but still charged full rate not good service in my books would not stay again

Was not informed that hot tubs and pool were closed for maintenance. Directed to two other property pools and they too were both closed. I chose this hotel for these amenities. Would like refund!

Toilet Seat was not secured to Toilet, Light Bulb out at Desk Area, Sliding Door was impossible to slid back and forth to Patio, Closet Door was impossible to open and close, People were roaming up and down the hall at all hours of the night being very very noisy with no respect for other guests. The hotel was nice and a good location for downtown which is what we wanted. Our only complaint is that the sheets in our bed felt like there was sand in it.

The hotel was as expected for a Doubletree and the cookies are, of course, the best!

location is a 5-10 min walk from main strip; overall a comfortable stay with great bed; main caveat is poor elevators which can take up to 5 minutes to arrive- doesnt seem that bad unless you experience it yourself

Great location just across the street from the Peak Nine Ski School and lifts. Spacious hotel rooms once you get there. However, getting to and from your room can be a bit challenging as there is only one tiny elevator per wing - 2 elevators from the ground floor in all (and that includes freight, room service and maid carts with you and your luggage […] or ski gear! Floors 8 through 10 are via a walk across Floor 7 to a separate elevator (again only one per wing). Taking the two sets of steel fire stairs in ski boots is not easy or recommended! The Hotel is happy to sell you parking for $20 per car per night, but the garage only has enough spaces for about half the guests, meaning you have to valet. Hotel Restaurant and Bar is good and not exorbitant like some places in Brek. although it does close rather early. Three outdoor hot tubs and an indoor pool and fourth hot tub make a relaxing end to the day. Bring your own drinks as the bar and shop are a long walk away Lisätietoja

We booked this room the night before we stayed there. Great price! It is across the street from the base of Peak 9. The Shuttle is free and will drop you off and pick you up anywhere in town. We called the Shuttle at 11 P.M. and the guy was there in 5 mins and had a smile on his face. The room was clean, bed was comfy, hotel was VERY nice for what I […] expected. Great Hotel near the slopes and very friendly staff. Would come back.

I've traditionally rented condos at ski areas and have recently started going with hotels. The Doubletree in Breckenridge worked out great for me and my teenage boys for a recent 3 night visit. The hotel is a short walk (about 150 yards across a street and a parking lot) from the slopes. There is a ski shop (for rentals) off of the lobby of the hotel […] and complimentary ski lockers are available so that you don't have to haul stuff to your room. The Doubletree also has a very good workout facility as well as a hot tub and pool. Breckenridge main street is about a 5 minute walk but a complimentary shuttle service is available. The rooms are fine - nothing fancy but good sized. My only real complaint is the elevator which is, I believe, the slowest in the northern hemisphere. It was slow enough that I chose to take the stairs - even at 9,600 ft above sea level. I recommend this place and will go back when I go to Breck next. Lisätietoja

Located right across the street from slope access, the hotel is convenient and well-appointed - including in-room refrigerator and free wi-fi.

The location is fantastic, just a couple blocks from downtown Breckenridge. But the hotel must be getting a little bit old: the elevators were terrible (slow and small) and the service was ok. Not the total "anything you need for your stay" approach. If you're only interested in the location this has it.

pros: nice room, great location (across a parking lot from the slopes), covered parking. cons: breakfast (long wait, low quality); layout of the hotel is not great (long walk to our room + 2 elevators); I felt like we were treated differently because we booked through hotels.com. First time that has ever happened to us.

Although we were only there for one night, we couldn't have been more pleased. The hotel is right across the street from peak 9 for easy access to the mountain. The bed was like sleeping on a cloud, so comfortable, we didn't want to get up. I booked on line through hotels.com and got a great rate. Would recommend this hotel to anyone.

The Double Tree in Breck was a great choice. It was clean, staff was friendly and they offer an on-call shuttle that will take you to and from anywhere you need to go in Breckenridge. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone planning on staying in the Breckenridge area.

The room, service, food, bar and location were excellent. The spa was not hot enough and the spa facility and hotel elevators need updating.

The room was absolutely lovely, with a terrific view and extraordinarily comfortable bed. The room was large, with a full size couch and loveseat. However -- getting to the room was a trip in itself. Clearly this hotel was built in chunks. From the parking garage, we had to take an elevator to the lobby to check in. From there, down a hall and another […] elevator to the sixth floor, where we had to exit, walk through a lengthy corridor, and take another elevator to our room on the 9th floor. Please! With two dogs (yes, they allow pets, but charge $30 per) and luggage, it was quite the schlepp. I asked for a room on a lower floor so it would not be quite such an ordeal to walk the dogs, but was told that only the top floors were for pets. Goodness! We finally found a door on the 10th floor where we could exit relatively easily, but the other exit for walking the pets -- on the fifth floor -- required walking up four flights of stairs to get to a grassy area. At more than 9000 ft altitude, it was indeed a chore. While I might consider staying here again sans pets, I would definitely want a floor lower down, as we spent much time and energy just getting to and from our room. They need to correct the elevator issue soon, as we overheard many, many comments about the trek and the slowness of the elevators. If you stay here on anything above the 6th floor , then you will want your walking shoes, and don't be in a hurry. Lisätietoja

Hotel is a little outdated. Elevator service is slow. Room wasn't ready for check in at 4:00pm. Don't like the fact the they charge $20 to park in the garage when you are staying there.

We called on our way in to let the hotel know that we would be checking in late. We also called again to request and confirm that we had a room with 2 beds. When we checked in, the hotel had overbooked and only had one room let with one bed. To top it off, it was the smallest room in the hotel. The next day, the hotel did transfer us and moved our luggage […] to a 2 bed room, which was about 3 times the size of our tiny room for the first night. However, my friend left her phone charger in the tiny first room and the housekeeping staff was unable to find it...even after we told them exactly where it was located. I have to say that the employees were trying to accommodate, but it appears that the hotel including the restaurant is understaffed or the staff is just not properly trained. I have to say they did try their best to accommodate us by giving us breakfast buffet vouchers for 2 days and they waived the parking fee. Lisätietoja

Our hotel room was updated and beautiful! The view was incredible, and the beds were heavenly. We are accustomed to staying in really nice hotels, and this one did not disappoint. It is literally right next door to Beaver Run Resort/ Hotel where our friends were staying. The shuttles get you to the happening downtown places within minutes and get you […] back home safely at 2am as well. Will definitely stay here again! The Double Tree associates were very nice and helpful. However, the room was small and we called maintenance twice about different issues. Maintenance responded promptly, however, the issues should have been identified before we checked into the room. We payed two different rates for the room for the two nights that we stayed. I thought the hotel staff was very nice and friendly, from the maintenance people to the concierge. I was a little frusterated with the shuttle service, they boast that it will pick you up anywhere. Well it is slow and the concierge and the shuttle drivers dont seem to communicate, we waited for 20 or 30 mins outside for the shuttle. They even had the […] gall to tell us that the shuttle had come by and didnt see us when we were standing outside the entire time! Also the set up is very strange, if you are staying on any floors above the sixth you have to take two elevators and walk across the entire hotel to get to the second one, and the elevators are ssooo slow, very annoying. The only negative thing about our stay at DoubleTree was the parking. It wasn't included in the price and it cost us an extra amount of money to use their parking lot.

The Double Tree Breckenridge is convienently located close to everything in town. You can literally cross the street to get on the ski lift and you only have a short walk to get to the stores and restaurants on Main Street. The rooms clean and have nice views. The only negative I can add is that the hotel elevators are outdated and Extremely slow.

Hotel was 50% full. Asked for a view and got a wall and dog walking courtyard. Valet & self park same price/was'nt told.Turned in comment card and clerk read in front of me.

What we liked: Right across the street from the lifts it is convenient. They give you warm chocolate chip cookies on check in! Reasonable pricing for the room service. Staff was very nice - we lost a wedding ring and they found it! Didn't like Very poor elevator access - all the way down the hall and if you are in floors 7 and above you have to take […] 2 elevators. The Hotel is very close to ski slopes, very convenient. The room was large and the beds are very comfortable. The staff was very helpful.

We stayed at the hotel over the Christmas weekend. What a great staff! Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful and I love the fact that it's a pet friendly hotel. This place is in a great location if you plan on skiing Breck. Only thing is, breakfast isn't included.

My husband, teenage son and I were very pleased with the location to the lifts! We could each start or end our ski days on our own schedules instead of waiting for each other. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast buffet was fantastic, although a bit pricey. All in all a great stay!

This hotel is an easy walk, even in ski boots, to Beaver Run SuperChair. It's also an easy walk to Main Street for dinner and shopping. Parking can be a little tight, but the cost is the same to park it yourself or to let the valet do it. The nightly parking fee is a little high. The hotel allows dogs, so expect to hear some barking during the day.

Wait till renovation is done. Hilton name is mis-leading. Hot tubs, lobby, and resteraunt are nice. Steak at 9600 resteraunt and service was great.

The hotel was close to the ski slope but we had to pay $20 to for parking, underground lot (so if you have a large truck its a tight fit); no complimentary breakfast, elevators were slow, had to take the stairs half the time. quality of room did not live up to pictures posted; although staff was really nice. The directions were horrible to get to the proper building to park. The parking area was full and was instructed to go to another building to park which was the incorrect locataion to get to our room. Three other guests checked in at the same time and had the same problem. Once in the building had to hike to the other side of the building to get to […] the proper tower. I talked to several other guest that had several other complaints. I did not find anyone that I talked to satisfied with their stay. Also there was a $20.00 hotel charge that was added on. Ive been here before, and its always perfect. I will be staying here every time I am in Breckenridge.

Excellent location. Great parking (underground and heated). Rooms were very nice and huge. Nice view. Close to downtown. I would stay here again for sure.
