The best thing about this hotel is the service. We arrived at 9am in the morning when technically we can't check in until 3pm. However, the staff found us a room shortly after, which was hugely appreciated since we hadn't slept at all the night before. The location of the hotel is in the middle of nowhere, so we were keen to use restaurants at the airport. In terms of comfort/condition of the hotel, I wouldn't have thought it was a five star hotel - everything was fine - it was just a bit unglamourous. I am not easy to have as guest and have easy to complain on things, but I cant complain on anything in this hotel, except they could be little quick to serve the food, you have order in the restraung. Been here several times now and its always a pleasure. Staff are friendly, food is great and the rooms are very comfortable. Not the cheapest hotel in the area but it does indeed merit the cost. I will be going back when in the area.

I stay at this hotel because it is on Schiphol Rijk, outside of the hotel in the immediate vacinity there is nowhere to go for anything to eat or drink however there is a free shuttle to Schiphol Airport every 30 minutes which only takes 10 minutes. The Radisson Blu hotel is really an excellent hotel and a great location for me. It is more suited to business people and people that need easy access to the airport, although getting to Amsterdam from there is not too challenging with the free shuttle to the airport you can take a train straight to the centre. hotel appx 15 mins drive from schipol airport in their transfer bus. one shuttle does rounds between hotel and airport. if you miss , you will hav to wait for half an hour for the next departure. took a room upgrade. some renovation work was on in the higher floors . the room was spacious and clean with comfortable beds. the living area too was quite […] spacious. the staff was professional and b/f was good. for the price , couldn have asked for more. to go to the city , we would take a train from the airport station. we didn need to travel late at night so didnt matter to us if we wer staying away from the city centre where hotels were expensive around new years. Hotel appeared to be new clean. The desk clerk was very nice and cordial. Our one night stay was very comfortable and enjoyable.

This was a great hotel to stay at even if you are wanting to see the city sights. THey offer a free shuttle every 30 minutes that takes you directly to the airport train. We had a lovely stay and would highly recommend this hotel. Also, the hotel bar was very nice and welcoming to large groups of people.

Rooms and Service are perfect. A shuttlebus is running every 30minutes from and to the Airport. However, theres is absolutely nothing around the hotel. No shops, Restaurants, nothing. Hotel Staff is always friendly and very helpful. Highly recommend, if you are only after a luxuary bed, close to the airport in AMS.

Good for who want to stay close to Business Area in Amsterdam

The hotel is excellent !!!!! Service and access to the airport and the city were great! The staff went out of their way to meet my dietary requirements. We met two of the staff, Mohammed and Mabel, on on the shuttle from the aiport to the hotel. They were so pleasant, friendly and informative and continued to assist us during our stay. Good location of the airport near Schiphol airport. Hotel shuttle (every 30 mins , takes about 10 minutes to/from arrivals to hotel) is also convenient. Having stayed at a Radisson Blu hotel many times in the past, I knew I could expect a good size room and a very comfortable bed and I was not disappointed. Our stay with Raddison blue hotel was very nice, Staff was nice, room was clean and breakfast was very good. They should run their hotel shuttle for 24 hours because it is impossible to comeback on time from Amsterdam central down town to airport to catch the last shuttle at 23.45pm. It costs a 25 Euro from airport to hotel via taxi. Also train tickets […] are expensive 8 euro return ticket. train services were very slow and took most of our time and energy in commuting. I left some things very important to me and quite valuable in the safe in my hotel room. I contacted the hotel once I got home and received excellent service. Great hotel if you are visiting any office in the surrounding business park. Clearly it is the hotel of choice for people coming to Juniper Networks for training. Can also recommend a walk into the village of Aalsmeer.

This Hotel is very blandly efficient but is not worth the significant premium they are asking. Also breakfast is day-light robbery at 25 euros on top of the room charge!!. Not a particularly great location either since it is about 15 minutes from the Terminal building. It is comfortable however, albeit with no real sense of identity.

The hotel is very nice and clean but not near anything else other than businesses in the area. The shuttle bus was great! I needed dropped off for work near the airport entrance and the driver stopped at a bus stop near the office. As long as you don't expect the hotel to be in the airport building you'll be very pleased with the experience. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly. The amenities are quite good. The taxi from the airport will cost you €20 but of course you can take the shuttle bus twice hourly. The hotel offers free high speed internet which is great indeed […] and has good wellness facilities. One thing you should keep in mind, the sauna and steam room require wearing swimsuits, unlike other Dutch saunas (where you're not allowed to) so make sure you don't offend anyone. Lisätietoja

The hotel was very good. They offer a 'deal' for breakfast if you didn't book breakfast on your reservation, but still expensive. Finding the shuttle is exciting, since no one seems to know where it is. It is at the far right side of the taxi zone and the bus runs every 30 minutes. If they see you coming, they will wait. The first thing you should know if you have never been in Amsterdam, is that MOST OF THE HOTELS including Radisson Blu have FREE SHUTTLE TO AND FROM THE HOTEL. Be mindful that you can take the train to the airport and go pretty much anywhere by train or bus. The hotel is located a short, 10 minute drive from the airport. Courtesy shuttle runs every 30 minutes on the hour and half hour from the airport. Rooms are modern, clean and well-appointed for the business or pleasure traveler. Very nice hotel with most wanted facilities. Rooms very well laid out and roomy. There is a shuttle bus (it is now a FULL SIZE BUS that holds 20- 30 people) that runs from the airport (shuttle pickup A9) every half hour at the quarters (:15 and :45), it runs from the hotel every half hour on the half hour (:00 and :30). It is in an industrial/business […] area with NO restaurants, but there are different levels of eating available on site or you can go to the airport and eat at the cafes or even shop at one of the several small grocery stores and bring it back to the room (small refrig. available). There is a train that will take you from the airport to Central Station that runs about every 15 minutes. A bit disappointing -- check in was very slow despite there being an extra staff member present who was not helping anyone. After a 10-15 minutes, she returned and saw that the line had not moved and then begin helping. The hotel info in the room said all three restaurants should have been open at the time I wanted to go for dinner, but I found the […] middle-level restaurant closed. The bar and nicer restaurant were open. The bar menu had some of the same hors d'oeuvres and sandwiches as the nicer restaurant. I went to the restaurant on the -1 level (where parking and the shuttle bus are). The waitresses were lovely and very accommodating. The food was nothing special, perhaps to be expected at an airport hotel. The carpet in the hallways was worn -- overall, once out of the nice lobby area, the place looks in need of a remodel. The mattress was also well-worn with an indent of where other bodies had lain. Amenities were good and the bathroom was clean and nice. One oddity was that the hairdryer was installed inside the desk drawer -- it was unmoveable so that it was hard to bend down to see yourself in the small mirror over the desk while drying hair -- and I"m short, so I imagine for others it would be even more awkward. Wifi is free -- a welcome find! My room was on the 1st floor (2nd floor in the U.S.) and overlooked all the mechanical stuff on the roof of the reception and restaurant. Extremely convenient and comfortable - everything you'd expect from an airport hotel. Allowed early check-in. Just be aware that the free airport-hotel shuttle stops running at 23:45, after that its a 30 euro cab ride for the 5min hop from train station/airport to the hotel!

The hotel was good but the shuttle bus to the airport only takes 8 people at a time and comes round every half an hour so you could be waiting for a few hours if you dont try to get to the front of the queue each time.

We needed to stay near Schiphol airport for one night and this hotel was considerably cheaper than either the Hilton or Sheraton, however there was no compromise on the standard of accommodation. We were very impressed.
