Crowne Plaza Hotel New Orleans French Quarter - New Orleans

The hotel was inviting, not too large. It has a pretty, welcoming lobby and a great oyster bar. The room was larger than most in New Orleans...my only criticism is the mattress. I'm 5'6'' and had to climb up into the bed. Other than that I was very satisfied with the hotel and would stay again.

Very happy with the accommodations, location. Carpets were a little dated and dirty in our room but that did not affect our stay at all. Otherwise the room was fine. Friendly staff...front concierge for the tours was very helpful. Made great recommendations

The lobby was beautiful and well kept, rooms were nice and clean with an exceptionally comfortable bed, and the location was convenient. The only thing that I noticed that could be tweeked by management would be the phone operators and front desk- very low tones, difficult to understand, not very professional and enthusiastic.. they didn't "WOW" me. […] Overall tho, I would return and stay again at the Crowne Plaza. WONDERFUL EASTER WEEKEND IN NOLA. PERFECT LOCATION TO EVERYTHING IN FRENCH QUARTER AND DOWNTOWN! TROLLEY CAR STOP RIGHT ACROSS STREET TO TAKE YOU ALL THE WAY DOWN ST. CHARLES AVENUE.

Our room was very clean and pretty spacious for a city with many small rooms. Very close to Bourbon St and within walking distance to most places. The only downside is that valet parking takes about 30mins to park/pick-up your car.

We just spent 5 nights there and everything was wonderful. The room was clean and comfortable. The location is handy to most everything- street car, CVS, Star Bucks, McDonalds, fine dining and central to most attractions. We were on the 11th floor and heard no noise from Bourbon street. Staff were friendly and helpful. Elevators are fast.

located att the corner of bourbon and canal streets, absolutely perfect for a stroll through the french quarter. plenty of emergency suupply shopping on canal street and easy access to the french quarter. couldn't be easier. we took taxi for $33 from airport and didn't use a car during our stay.

They were very friendly- and helpful staff. Would definatly stay here again. Quiet!

This hotel is amazing!!!! It is on the corner of canal and bourbon. Easy access to all of the excitement. Trolly stops are right out front. Hotel staff is amazing from the time you drive up in your car until the time you leave. We were able to get a great price through here and pay a small fee to upgrade to the executive level. The executive level is […] awesome. You get a great breakfast with hot and cold foods and snacks at night. Each person also gets a free beer or wine and unlimited other beverages. The staff up there is the best. I chatted every morning with the woman for hours while my friends slept. Front desk is helpful too. Gave me an eye mask and ear plugs because everyone snored..... Pool was too chilly for my liking. Gym was amazing. Consierge guy was helpful but said he didn't recommend mothers (which is a must do from what I heard from everyone else). There is a cvs and Walgreens right there. The room was super nice. Beds are really comfy but with 4 adults and 2 queen beds, it got a little warm. We did get a fan brought to our room. There was a "store" selling basketball tourney stuff which did look kind of cheesy in the lobby. It was just items for sale in a banquet room. The only issue we had the 4 days we were there was the car valet when we needed to leave for the airport. Took 45 minutes for our car. Totally recommend this place!!!!! Lisätietoja

Fine hotel, but given how much it costs, I would stay somewhere else. Primary problem was the attitude of the staff. In most of the interactions with them, they seemed annoyed - especially with check-in, which left a bad taste in my mouth for the remainder of my stay.

Great hotel! Nice staff, clean rooms, right on Bourbon Street. If you don't want to be bothered by the music/noise you should ask for a room that is not on the Bourbon street side.

Everything about this hotel was great...from check in until check out everything was taken care of in a timely manner.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Crowne Plaza, until we came down into the lobby and found tables and vendors selling teeshirts...in the lobby. Not what you'd expect from such an otherwise classy hotel.

When entering from Canal St. the first thing you notice is the gum stained carpet. It gives a bad first impression, and you begin to wonder what else might be dirty.

Hotel is in an excellent location if the French Quarter and Bourbon St in particular are what you want to be close to in NOLA. But there were a few quirks a fault th sink in the bathroom ( drain was always closed)was not what I expected in terms of room condition. The folding tables and selling of T shirts for the upcoming football games in the hotel […] lobby was not what I expected for a hotel rated so highly - looked like a flea market! Lisätietoja

Our stay could not have been better. The manager was extremely accommodating, the rooms were spacious and lovely, and the public portions of the hotel were elegant. We will definitely stay there again.

I've stayed here many times before and the Crowne Plaza is always consistent in its attempt to please me. Friendly staff, convenient location and comfort are top notch at this hotel.

hotel is conveniently located by the French Quarters - however only drawback is the noice from Burboun Street's many "street bands" that may park themselves next to the hotel until 3 AM. Best recommnedation is to get a room as far away as possible from that street if you want to sleep.. Room was clean as were the common areas

The only reason I gave this hotel a 4 is because they charge you for using their WiFi in your room (it's free in the lobby). On top of that the amount they charge you is RIDICULOUS!! I thought Free WiFi in motels and hotels was standard and complimentary.

This hotel is a solid value. Very nice rooms for the price, beautiful lobby, excellent location at the start of bourbon street. However, the rooms backing up to Bourbon street have loud, pounding cheap bar type music going all night. Earplugs were provided but I did not find them until the next morning. Nice hotel in a good location in the Quarter, but not so close as to have to deal with the noise of the Quarter. Also the trolley is right out the door. We did not eat in the hotel; hey, just too many choices in New Orleans. It did look inviting, however. The lobby bar was a good place to relax over a drink. Rooms were comfortable, although they do […] have some rather small, no-window rooms that they stuck us into at first and when we complained, the desk clerk said "nothing could be done". We tried another clerk about an hour later, who seemed to be a supervisor, and she moved us to a larger, more normal hotel room. Hotel has a great location... Overall I liked all but one thing there was a very persistent cockroach across the hall over the door that was there from the time we left till we returned, I was a bit put off by that... That aside, the hotel was comfortable, the desk staff was nice. Concierge (Paul) was GREAT.

My family and I stayed here 3 nights, including New Years' Eve, and found it great for us- comfortable beds, excellent French Quarter location, not noisy even though our room faced Bourbon Street. Very classy hotel, yet reasonably priced for the French Quarter.

This was the third time I've visited the Astor Crowne New Orleans . It was and is still one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in worldwide . I will definitely be staying there again in the future . DWV

This is a perfect hotel at a perfect location. Literally a 1 minute walk to famed Bourbon Street and all it has to offer. The 1st class front desk staff gave us an upgrade to the executive level which had comp/breakfast and comp/happy hour. You can't go wrong at this wonderful hotel. Highly recommended!!!

Took us 45 minutes to get car valet parked. Checked out at 11:00, but did not get car back till 12:30. Very poor park situation!

The Crowne is a great hotel to stay if you want to be close to the action on Bourbon Street. Everything about the hotel was perfect except they were replacing the tile in the main lobby, so while you are trying to check in, your eardrums are being blown out. It was a very busy Monday due to the Saints game and Drew Brees breaking the record, so I expected […] the hotel to be busy. The people were amazing and helpful, but everybody was really irritated with the construction. Great place to stay if you don't mind the noise of Bourbon Street, because you can definitly hear it through the walls. The only complaint is the parking is very inconvenient. The cost is $35 and a valet service will take your car, but when you go get the car you have to take a bus. We waited 30 mins for a bus to take us to our car.

We were in town for a romantic Christmas getaway. The location is perfect. Parking is however pricey at $32 per day, but what a location? The lobby was also under construction when we arrived. The only real problem with the entire stay was with their Concierge. We went to him for a location question for a particular restaurant that we had researched […] and already made the reservation. He did not really know where it was and once he acted like he knew he immediately told us it was a bad area and we would be best to take a $20-25 cab ride? We finally had enough and left his desk and headed for the street car. I called the restaurant and they immediately told me they were located 4 blocks off the end of the St Charles line. No Issues!
