Kaupungin Chicago sydämessä sijaitseva Sofitel Chicago Water Tower on kävelymatkan päässä kohteista Hancock Tower ja Chicagon vesitorni. Lähistöllä ovat myös Tribune Tower ja Wrigley Building.

Ilmainen langaton Internet-yhteys on käytettävissä yleisillä alueilla.Tämän 4,5-tähden hotellin liiketoiminnan palveluihin sisältyvät liiketoimintakeskus, kokoushuone ja limusiinipalvelu. Henkilökunta voi järjestää: tilaisuuksien tarjoilut, kiertuepalvelut ja valuutan vaihto. Sofitel Chicago Water Towern 415 ilmaistoidussa huoneessa on tallelokerot (kannettava tietokone sopii) ja minibaari. 32-tuumainen LCD-televisio, joissa on kaapeli-/satelliittikanavat ja maksulliset elokuvat, ovat saatavissa. Huoneissa on työpöydät, ilmainen sanomalehti arkipäivinä ja puhelin, useita linjoja sekä ilmainen vastaajapalvelu. Vieraat voivat käyttää huoneessa ilmaista nopeaa langallista Internet-yhteyttä. Kylpyhuoneissa on erillinen kylpyamme ja suihku, designer-hygieniatuotteet ja meikkaus-/parranajopeilit. Lisäpalveluihin kuuluvat tallelokerot ja hiustenkuivaaja. Sijainti on kaupungin ulkopuolella, matka keskustaan on ajettava autolla. Muutamia pikaruokapaikkoja ja ketjuravintoloita kävelyetäisyydellä. Lähellä on hyvä kauppa, mutta huoneessa ei ole jääkaappia. Huoneet siistit ja tilavat. Ystävällinen ja avulias henkilökunta.

Kokolattiamatto oli melko likainen. Suihkussa ei ollut käsisuihkua. Erittäin hyvä sijainti.

Hotelli on kolmosterminaalin edessä, siirtyminen maanalaista käytävää hotelliin kestää pari minuuttia. Keskustaan pääsee junalla tai esim lentokenttätaksilla. Mikäli tarkoituksena on vain yöpyä lentojen vaihdon vuoksi Chicagossa, tämä on erinomainen ratkaisu. Aamiainen hyvä, normaalia amerikkalaista hintatasoa.

Meillä oli iso huone joka oli siisti ja hieno. Hotelli on todella siisti ja henkilökunta erittäin ystävällistä. Lokaatio on ihan keskustassa ja korttelin päässä Macystä. Kuvat hotellista eivät anna oikeaa kuvaa vaan hotelli on paljon paremman näköinen. Kadun yläpuolella menevä metrosta saattaa kantautua meteliä kadulle päin oleviin huoneisiin, mutta meillä oli huone sisäpihalle päin ja se ei häirinnyt. Matkustimme pienen lapsen kanssa ja menisimme uudestaan tänne.

Kulahtanut rakennus ja kuluneet mutta tilavat huoneet. Kylpyhuone kunnostettu. Hotellin yhteydessä edullinen ravintola. Sijainti hyvä Loopin alue kävelyetäisyydellä samoin Rooseveltin aseman ja driven ostosmahdollisuudet.

"Perfect Getaway"
We greatly enjoyed staying at the Sofitel. Being Francophiles anyway, it was nice to hear "Bonjour" every morning, even with a Chicago accent.

"Great Service!"
This is a great place to stay in Chicago! The hotel room and staff were top notch. The bed is so comfortable! We found the location to be perfect. The only downside was the price of drinks at the hotel bar but that is the case at most hotels. We will be staying here again. Hopefully soon!

"Sofitel - nice but strange smell"
The location and building is amazing. The room had a musty weird smell to it. We asked to change to another room, and after much back and forth, we were given another room, smaller, that had the SAME smell. So maybe it's a problem in the whole hotel.

The hotel was beautiful BUT hotel worker knocked on my door 4 x in 24 hours.. I think that was a lot.
for such a high end hotel, rooms were standard hotel fare. small, a bed and a desk and a chair.

"Quality and excellent location in Chicago"
I took my two children (ages 14 and 11) to Chicago for their Spring Break vacation. The hotel, its staff, and its location were excellent for us. The area was very clean and safe, and we had easy access to downtown locations and transportation. I will definitely return for future visits!

"Sofitel Chicago - lovely hotel off Rush Street"
The room was comfortable and very nicely appointed, with a huge bathroom. It was very close to Michigan Avenue and really convenient for meetings in River North. Also never had trouble getting a taxi when I was in a hurry.
High quality hotel locate in the heart of the Chicago downtown. Very luxury feel, good service and very clean

Nice location, great shopping and residential area. Hotel placed us on 6th floor out of 31 and in a handicapped room, with a view of a roof below. When I requested a change of room I was told changing was not an option. For the price (a suite) I would not stay there again.

The location is great - tucked off Michigan Avenue and with great views of the Hancock Building only a block or two away. "Stay at Sofitel"
The hotel was very clean and the staff were friendly. The decor was comfortable. Did not like the over priced restaurant in the hotel, but overall, had a pleasant experience.

The amenities are the only reason I rated it a 4 - huge bathroom; very high-end freebies for body and hair care; cleaning service within hours of arrival; located within 1 block of water tower and great restaurants; nice lounge area; Here is why it's not a 5 - aside from bathroom, the room itself was too small to be a junior suite; not enough lighting […] and difficult to find; contemporary but mediocre decor; Overall, I left feeling that this was nice but not a great value for what I paid. Not exactly what I expected. On the 20 th floor-the view was of another building...the room is small almost as well a the bath tub...even the king sized bed seemed small... I would not stay there again. Very expensive for what is offered.

Updated, good food, clean-contemporary room, friendly-professional staff. Will absolutely make it my regular Chicago hotel.
I asked for plates and silverware which were supposed to be delivered to my room but never arrived.

Had a wonderful experience at this hotel. Very clean, staff was very helpful and kind and the beds are so comfortable. The location is right in the heart of Chicago and in walking distance of Rush street with many shops and restaurants. I will definitely be returning to this hotel.

We brought our 6 month old baby with us and were very impressed with the hotel. The room was so clean that I had no problem letting our baby sit and play on the floor. We requested a crib and mini fridge, and the hotel provided both (no extra cost) and also gave us a baby "kit" that included baby shampoo, lotion, bib, and a cute stuffed bear. Truly, fabulous hotel. Lovely accommodations, luxurious bed, and wonderful bath amenities....save for the giant hairball in the shower stall, it would have been perfect.
