Dockers Inn - Branson

we had a great time

I'm a "Holiday Inn Express" kinda guy. Not too fancy, but not too cheap either. Therefore, I compare this hotel to a standard Holiday Inn Express, which I would have preferred to use, but this was a group and the majority won out. This is an "Inn", so all of the rooms open to the outside. Just FYI. The pool was closed so we didn't use it. It was small, […] if that matters to you. Pros: Cheap. Super friendly people, even the maintenance guy. There is an attendant at the breakfast counter making waffles and making sure everything is there. (Tip: don't try to rinse out your coffee cup in her sink, she don't take to kindly to that). The breakfast is pretty good, waffles, cereal, donuts, toast, biscuits and gravy. No protein. Decent coffee. Breakfast was better than expected. Good tv channel selection. It was freezing outside and the quiet AC system kept the room nice and comfortable. Family with two small children were right next door. We never heard them at all. Located right on the "Yellow" route, so you could move around Branson without getting on the main drag. Cons: The room is old. Small tube TV, peeling wallpaper, old (but clean) carpet. The room is okay for price. The main problem comes with the bathroom. The toilet ran continuously after every flush unless you opened the back and reset everything. One call to maintenance got this fixed. The shower, however, was stuck on "massage" mode. It would give you a headache to wash your hair. Other friends in other rooms had similar problems. The rooms were pretty run down. Summary: You get what you pay for. If it was me, I'd spring the extra $25 / night for the Holiday Inn Express or equivalent. But in this economy I realize it's difficult for hotels to stay open, much less make a lot of improvements. Great quality for price! Only 2 complaints...theirbsign outside was burnt out so we almost passed by it & the drain in the tub was clogged up. Other than that, nice place...would stay again.

Clean. Very good value for the price. No elevator if that is a must for you. But you probably only have to climb one flight.

Be aware, there is a restaurant next door called the Dockers, as well. Also, there are sidewalks on the street the hotel is on, but not the cross-streets- makes for a difficult stroll. Be informed, this is an outdoor entrance hotel, and there are stairs, no elevator. That all being said, It was a great price, OK breakfast, and a clean room. I found the staff very pleasent and helpful. Location is good close to shows, shopping, and restrauants.

Breakfast was great--super clean and staff was polite and responsive to needs. Had a great stay here--would highly recommend!

We have stayed in many Branson hotels but this was by far the cleanest AND they had the best price! We will stay here again!

We stayed at the Docker's 8/7 through 8/10. The price was comparable to other hotels with the same amenities. Check in was easy and fast. No elevator, ask for the first floor if you have mobility problems. Room was clean at first impression, no frills, beds were comfortable. Breakfast was very good, made to order waffles, biscuits and gravy, doughnuts, […] pastries, cold cereal, toast, etc. The only thing I thought was strange was they had entertainment at breakfast. A women sang (mostly gospel music). I have nothing against gospel music, I just don't care to be sung to at breakfast!!!!! Also, representatives from shows were handing out brochures and plugging their shows while we were eating. Just weird. The first day I noticed that the housekeepers just pulled up the bed spreads and put new towels in the room, that is all. No dusting, no cleaning the coffee pot, no refills on coffee or condiments, they did not empty the trash. The same thing happened every day. They had an envelope in the room with their names on it, we all know this is for tips. Well, I usually leave a tip on the last day. On the second day they took the envelope, turned it over and wrote on the back " Tips Please". I fully intended to tip them , the reminder just made me more determined to wait until the last day. It did no good to put the Do Not Disturb sign out. Housekeeping knocked on the door every morning anyway even though I told them I put the sign out for a reason. We enjoyed the pool, it was very clean. The hotel is in a good location , just a block off of 76 with easy access. Just be prepared to be sung to with your morning coffee. The paper work I printed from Hotels.Com said the check out time was noon. When I questioned the Front Dest they said that time is worng, Check Out is 11 AM. Lisätietoja

The Dockers Inn in Branson Mo had beautiful bedding and fancy pillows which I have never seen in a lower rate hotel like this. The place was very clean, comfortable, hot water, towels down at the pool so you didn't have to use the few you get in the room, and even a bucket to leave the wet towels at the pool when finished. Overall we had a good exPerience here. However, there were ants in the room which made for an uncomfy stay, and the comfort of the beds/pillows left something to be desired

We were pleasantly surprised with the motel. We were a bit apprehenhisive at first when we booked it since it was rated a two and a half, but when we arrived we were very happy about every thing. The rooms where clean. The beds are so comfortable to sleep in felt like I was at home in my own bed. The staff was nice and the free breakfast in the morning was awesome. I would stay again and recommened my friends to stay at Dockers Inn also.

Some minor maintenance items with the upkeep, but nothing major and a few minor issues in the room but again, not bad at all. Overall for the economical price, nice hotel, good location, good neighborhood, and nice pool.

Check in was a fiasco and had to switch rooms twice because of chirping smoke detectors and broken faucets. The second night we awoke to take showers to find there was not any hot water. Nothing like having to make your kids take a cold shower on vacation. I went to talk to the front desk, their response was that it was not their problem. They were […] rude and non-apologetic. I asked another costumer in the lobby if they had hot water (they said no) for a shower and the manager told me to quit talking to the other customers. The room was clean and a good rate, but I guess you have to pay extra for hot water and manners. I will never stay here again. There are plenty of other places to stay in Branson. Lisätietoja

This hotel was great, it was very clean and the staff was great! The only thing is the maid service likes to come around a bit early so be sure to put put your do not disturb sign the night before. The breakfast was your typical cereal,donuts & waffles. You will enjoy your stay here!

The location was very convenient to shows and resturants. The room was clean and personnel were very helpful.

conveniently located. close to the 76 Strip where all the shows are. the rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was good and the breakfast room was clean. Everyone was friendly and helpful. I would recommend this hotel and will go back again.

Friendly staff, clean rooms, good price. The beds were extremely comfortable. The bedding was nice as well. We liked the location though, it was within walking distance of the main drag. I like the King size bed we had. They also had lots of pillows on the bed.

Clean, comfortable beds, good location, good value, friendly front desk.

This hotel was a great surprise for the low price. The beds were super comfy with lots of pillows and new comforters, the continental breakfast was very good. The only downside is the bathroom is very small and the shower actually had too much water pressure, but we would stay again.

We stayed 5 nights in a standard King room on top floor. The bed was great - very comfortable. However, the carpet was just a little funky - kind of a deep slightly greasy feel - not wet or gushy but some kind of slight moist or viscous feel. Not a huge deal but I wouldn't walk on it w/o something on my feet. The rest of the room & bathroom were generally […] clean but not detailed (cob web from window to lamp, light bulb out in lamp, etc). The shower & toilet are very loud. It seems the cleaning crew makes one pass around 10am & if you're not out of your room when they come, your room does not get cleaned. So our room was not cleaned the entire stay. They did leave towels & accessories hanging on the door so even though we accumulated a big pile of used towels, we had what we needed. The place was pretty quiet overall except cleaning carts sound like freight trains rolling by on the concrete walk-ways. The heater worked fine & wasn't overly loud but it ran non-stop so the sound got old. TV & cable service were good. We tried to get breakfast two days. One day was fine; average fair. The other day, they were out of everything but cereal & instant oatmeal. Front desk staff was polite & quick. Didn't interact w/ any other staff. No frills but we had what we needed to sleep and get ready, and we got a great deal. All said, I consider it a good value & would stay again (if I got the same price). If you want a homey place to really settle in and spend some time, or a place to work; this it might not be your place - but if you're looking for a place to sleep & shower in between excursions, it's a good value. The Hotel Was Well Taken Care Of,The Staff Were Wonderful,The Beds Were Very Comfortable

The only thing that I found unsatisfactory was that they did not vacuum the carpet. We stayed 3 nights and the carpet was not vacuumed after arrival. Beds were made, and plenty of clean linen, but it felt "dirty" because of dirty carpet.

All was great, better than average except Wi-Fi was terrible. If staying for vacation, great place to stay for the money. If you plan on working in your room, not so much.

We stayed 3 nights. Rooms were clean and the beds were the best. I would stay again. My only concern and I forgot to tell them was the showers floor are slippery. I dont know if it from the shampoo or soap and something else I told my mom not to shower unless she stood on top of a towel.
