Super 8 Kissimmee/Maingate/Orlando Area - Kissimmee

We went to Disney for a day and stayed one night at the hotel. It was clean and comfortable. Recently updated with new furniture and carpet.

This is definitely a good bang for your buck. The staff was very polite and the rooms are a little worn but clean. The location is perfect. If you're on a budget, and aren't most of us these days, then this is a good pick.

After reading the reviews i had a pretty good idea what i was getting and it was on target. It is an older motel. furnishings have been updated but it is still and older motel. Stayed here for a night before heading to a Disney Resort. It was convient, clean, and for the most part comfortable. The bed was a little rough, but it was clean.

The hotel has had a reno and the carpets and room are new. The Tub if it has been done does not get cleaned enough for sure. And even though I read there were loud trucks at the Public right beside the hotel I thought how bad could it be. Well you are on the back side of Public's and it is where the delivery trucks and dumpster truck comes and they […] come early (very early) and it lasts quite awhile. It is close to things but front clerk (gentleman was not really friendly but the girl was very friendly) And yes if you do not make it to breakfast till 9 (it is open 6 to 9 am) they are right there at nine and everythng is put away no exceptions. We booked this hotel with the intent of a short stay with a decent breakfast. The rooms and hotel seemed to be well maintained, but the breakfast was a bit lacking.

The only thing that we were disappointed in was the breakfast that was promised and there was none.

I will never stay at the Super 8 Kissimmee/Maingate nor will I recommend it. We only stayed there 1 evening as we arrived 1 day prior to our reservations at a WDW resort. We took a trip to Kissimmee to see the Old Town Car show and visit with relatives and friends. We stayed at the Super 8 at 5875 W Irlo Bronson Memorial Highway. The staff was extremely friendly, our room was clean and neat, our bed and pillows were comfortable, and it sets back off of the highway-we had no road noise. The convenience to the Old Town […] car show was perfect. We were right in the heart of a diverse amount of restaurants, gift shops and flea markets. We weren't there to go to Disney World or Gaylord Palms or Sea World, etc...; but if we had been there was a shuttle that would pick you up right across the street from us. On arrival my husband and I were terribly disappointed on what we saw and immediately cancelled our reservation and made a new one with a well known and reputable hotel in the area. Even though the cost was more than twice that of Super 8 we felt comfortable, safe and secure . Before arriving at Super 8 I made several telephone calls to inquire about […] its facilities and shuttle service as well as closeness to Disney in terms of walking...I was assured of all these requests on the phone.. this was in fact NOT SO!!! This is a 2 star hotel with a great price. Rooms have always been clean and ready on time. Everything is in walking distance so you don't have to move your car.

The room was great. Room was extremely clean. I was very surprise. No smell of smoke. Everything was nice except for the person who checked me in. I ask if they had any elevator and his answer was "I should have gone to Holiday Inn, if I need one" How rude. May next time maybe I will. Overall the stay was good.

I really like it. I I didn't renta car, and but from airport you can get it taking lynx bus routes 111 as a transfer, then at Disney bus station take the route 56 and ask to get down at old town malls station. I would recommend to hotel: + to inform guests about lynx routes.

We needed a hotel for a stop off before heading south on the 4. We stayed pool side and for the cost it was everything we needed it to be. There is a Publix next door and several big name restaurants within in walking distance. Old Town is across the road but you will need to use your car to cross the 192.

Low price. Right next to Disney and restaurants. Hotel has been updated with new furniture, tv and counter tops. Bathroom and shower still need updating and cleaning. I missed the breakfast by 5 minutes and they would not accomidate. Good deal overall. Laundry facilities are very poor.

Hotel Location not too bad from highway, but good luck getting sleep when the adjacent supermarket has a truck delivery. The next door supermarket had a truck come in at 5am waking me up. The loud noise of the truck being unloaded lasted for a few hours.

The room was nice enough, but the hotel felt marginal with the small pool in the parking lot. There were quite a few roaches, which, even though it isn't surprising, is never fun.

We liked the queen-sized beds. Service was great. Maintained well. Friendly people. Price was right.

We didn't expect too much from our stay but were satisfied. The only real problem was that our room had one lumpy mattress and lumpy pillows--luckily the second bed was more comfortable. Also, for the price, our room was cleaner than expected.

We were looking for a cheap hotel within 15 minutes of Disney parks. The shower could have been scrubbed a little better, but overall the room was fine. The bed was decent, decor was a little strange (they have ultra modern furnishings with the traditional hotel bedding). There was a fridge, microwave and coffee maker in the room. Nice hotel. First hotel I've stayed at in a while where it has been quiet in the morning. Fridge and microwave were nice to have. Just a note. We drove around for 45 minutes looking for an Irlo Brunson Hwy. exit that does not exist. It's off Hwy 192.

Satisfied than expected. Very good as repecto to the price.

Closer to all attractions and good price, good internet, clean room, the toilet made me a little unhappy for someone slept used the toilet seat to turnoff their cigarette! otherwise, all good for the price i paid!

5 min to downtown disney and 15 min to universal. perfect for our needs , just needed somewhere to shower and sleep. for the price cannot be beat.

Noisy! Lots of partying going on outside my room. Called front desk. Noise quieted down for 30 min. then continued until 3 am. Mattress old & hard. Quilts filthy & torn.

I don't expect much from a cheap hotel on 192. All I really want is something that's clean. Not so here. The room smelled like wet dog when we arrived. The sheets looked like they were 20 years old and were yellowed with age. They had obviously rehabbed the room somewhat. I would suggest they forget about new TVs and update the bedding. The hotel was overall very nice for the price. The breakfast wasn't fancy but it was good, the room was comfortable and it was in a easy location. The only thing is that the blankets smelled a little.

Very noisily every morning at 5.30 am , probably a warehouse next door but for this price what can I expect?

Check-in was smooth, rooms clean located very close to Disnye and other food venues. Next to publix so at 5:00 a.m. garbage trucks came by. The breakfast is not really breakfast only toast.Otherwise great price great location nice room.

You can't get a better value for what you pay. A little noisey location, but clean and convenient Updated interior with HD flat screen TV was nice. Walk to everything you need on RT 192. Next to Old Town and world class mini golf. Plenty of deals on discounted tickets to all major attractions nearby. What more can you ask for?

I was pleasantly surprized by the overall cleanliness and look of the room. It was close to most everything with a Denny's just feet away. The continental breakfast wasn't too great, not much offered so don't expect much there. It definately is a budget motel but I would recommend it for anyone looking for a deal.
