"Inexpensive but old"
This hotel had the right price for our one overnight stay, but it was definitely old and had visible signs of wear. Forget breakfast and there really wasn't a place to sit and eat if you wanted. The staff was very nice, but we won't stay at this hotel again.
This was an alright experience. Honestly, this is a you get what you pay for deal. The mattress was extremely old- the room was mostly clean, but I would not walk on that carpet without socks at least- also there was a lot of dust behind the table between the bed and couch. The last thing is the toilet ran ALL night and it kept waking me up along with […] the heater which was sooo loud it was impossible- I would have paid an extra 10-20 dollars to stay somewhere better. "Super 8 Muncie IN - Nice hotel"
This hotel is perfect for a one-night stay. My husband and I have stayed here each time we come to Muncie and it serves our needs quite well. I would recommend this hotel if you are planning on a short one or two night stay in Muncie. Very economical and very clean.

Our non-smoking room was fine, but the small lobby smelled like stale cigarettes. Overall, it was comfortable and affordable. They could use heaters with better temp control, though. I wish there would have been more pillows on the bed (the two that were there were a little "flat"), but the room and bathroom were clean. The bathroom was a one-sink but it worked out fine for the amount of time we were there. The front desk staff was very friendly & helpful.

I have never been treated with such respect and courtesy, and I've stayed in many more expensive hotels. The staff is absolutely stellar.

Thehotel is very basic, but the staff are very friendly and the room was great and it was very close to Ball State. I will be back.
"Convenience for my purposes"
Good value for the money, close to all I needed to do whilst there. Only hang up was first night there, remote didn't match my tv in room. That was fixed the next day. Towels could be a bit bigger and softer, please.
"A much underrated hotel"
The motel is excellent. It has recently been refurbished, the outside repainted and the lobby redone. My room was very clean with all fixtures in very good condition. "Good we were only sleeping there"
Room had used kleenex on floor when we arrived. One mirror in bathroom only--first time I have stayed in a hotel room without a mirror in the room also. Heard complaints from other guest during checkout--staff not very helpful or concerned.

What more do you expect for the money? It was well worth the price with a great location.

"Good place to sleep"
A good hotel if you need just a basic place to sleep. Mattress was medium to firm - shower was not bad, no lack of hot water and nicely adjustable. The room and hotel were not the newest or flashiest - but that's OK with us. We just needed a place to sleep =)
"Close to BSU"
The room was a little dusty. Bathroom had older fixtures. I reserved the room for 3 adults and 1 child. We were given 3 bath towels and 3 wash clothes. However, the staff was very kind and helpful and gave us additional linens. Very close to BSU campus and very reasonable rates.

very Courteous and friendly when checking in and out. Eager to help when needed. Speak very clear English. Room was clean and comfortable. Stayed in non-smoking room and it didn't smell like cigarettes!! will stay there again! Right beside an IHOP!!! major plus!!

The outside of the hotel looked a little dated, but the room was very acceptable. it was clean and had everything I desired in a room. I would stay here again.
"Very convenient-Close to University academy"
The hotel location was very close the Ball State University Academy and the price was within our budget, seeing that one of the kids are on their way to the University.

"Super 8 in Muncie IN"
Room was ok, bathroom needed to be cleaned better. The tubs have the old rubber matt in the bottom which is of course germ magnets. The hot and cold faucet was reversed and instead of changing it they wrote hot with the arrow in magic marker. The beds were like sleeping on boards or a trampoline. Internet was sporadic at best. Location was convenient […] and close to everything. The day shift was very helpful the night shift when I asked about the internet the second day of not having it said she would not discount because of internet even though thats what they advertise,,, free internet.... "Great Stay in Muncie near Ball State"
Excellent stop over stay. Near lots of shops and restaurants and very convenient to campus.

The room was fine for the money. Breakfast in the morning was small, but good.

The hotel is easy to get to and there are shopping centers and good resturants very close by. The rooms were clean and neat every day. The staff was good to talk to and tried to make the stay very nice.

Only problem was that I was orginally assigned to a smoking room even though I rquested a non-smoking room. My reservation form indicated such. Situation was quickly rectified.

Asked for a non smoking room and was given a smoked in room. Had to constantly fix the toilet ( would not flush)

The Hotel Is Local to the College, BSU, and Resturants and it is in a good area but the Queen size bed I paid for, was not a queen no matter how you look at it, it was a full size bed. two people barely fit in it. The room was very old and out dated, but if your looking for somewhere to have only a quick rest it's good for that, just not an extended […] stay. The bed was old and uncomfortable, especially for someone like me who had spine surgery, I could barely sleep. Also noticed a stain or two on the comforter, grossed me out completely. Don't stay here unless it is an emergency. The Staff and desk help were amazing, each person was especially kind and helpful, but this place needs a serious overhaul and redesign.
