hotel room was clean and well put. the bed was unconfortable but the room was nice

Very reasonable rates, TV was a little on the small side.....get what you pay for....

There was television noise from the adjoining rooms and could here the people snoring during the night. The bed was okay but not that comfortable. Would recommend for short one or two night stay but any longer would not.

This hotel was a great launch to hike Whitewater State Park 18 miles away. I had the "Indian Summer"days of early November: narrow saddles hundreds of feet above the Whitewater valley! Don't miss Eagle's point: there are eagles, along with a wonderful view.. Can't wait to do it all again with one of my children.

Nice, clean hotel. We stayed for a night. Definitely stay if we go to Rochester, MN again.

And I can almost still smell the dirty diaper smell that eminated from the laundry and garbage area. The bed was a concrete slab and the pillow had the consistency of flat cotton candy. I slept horribly.

Great service and was just what I needed for the night. But the bed a little hard for my taste. Other than that I didn't have any problems there.

My family of 8 makes the drive to Rochester about every 3 months or so to visit with friends. We have stayed in several hotels in the area and so far the Extended Stay South is the one we will return to next time. The kitchenette was great with the exception of the microwave(700watt). An 1100 watt would have been better. The room was exceptionally clean […] and I am VERY picky with clean. The staff was great and even posed for pictures during our hotel scavenger hunt(something we do to familiarize our family with exits, vending, etc...) All in all, definately a great stay. The location turned out to be great. Major retailers very close by. Room was good, I liked having a full-size refrigerator. My one big complaint would be the skimpy TV channel line-up. Although I stayed for only two nights, I would think folks who need to stay for a much longer period would welcome a better selection of channels. We did not need much, so in that since this hotel exceeded expectations. It was a bit cold when entering the room, but that was obviously easy to remedy. We did notice some footsteps above us on the third floor, but when it really matter (at night) we didn't hear a thing. The kitchen/fridge was helpful for keeping our cooler items from spoiling. I had stayed for a week at an extended stay before and had a basic idea of what I would find. But this one was somewhat better than the other. In the short time I was there (only 1 night,) it just seemed to be in better condition than what I found previously. Maybe some of the stuff was newer. This was really a fine hotel.

My husband & I stayed here overnight and was pleased with our room. The room was very clean and large enough to move around comfortably. This place is kind of hard to find. The kitchenette was nice and everything was relatively new, clean and well maintained. The bed was about as firm as I could stand. Heat/AC quiet and easy to set.

Lovely staff, clean room, great for longer stays because of the convenience of having a kitchen (stove top, full fridge, basic kitchen cooking utensils). Check out Whistle Binkies down the street for good food and drinks.

I was glad that I knew where this hotel was located because my GPS system would have had me make a right turn across a ditch and through a metal barrier. It takes a while to find the service road to this hotel, I circled back around the highway loops and took 40th to Woodlake Dr. The exits are confusing. The room was immaculately clean. I arrived just before the night clerk was going off duty. Got my room key but decided to get some groceries before going upstairs. Get into the room with bags of food, but oh no, wait a minute, the bed was NOT made & there were dirty towels in the bathroom! Called downstairs. Somewhat of a language barrier. Reported the condition of the room. Response […] was "I can do nothing about that" HUH? Asked if someone could come up & make the bed. Response? "That's not my job" I go downstairs to make a room change. Finally, face to face the tone changed with the woman behind the counter. The room was nothing spectacular, but it had what I needed. My husband and I have been coming to this hotel for the last 7 yrs. We have always been pleased with the service and courtesy shown to us at the south location. It is getting better with a new cinema, Target, noodle shop, pizza, Walmart and many stores we use everyday. Room was clean and comfortable enough but no plastic glasses or ice bucket in room which I found a little anoying.

Very nice hotel overall. The whole hotelw as very clean, and in good condition. The room was big, but it is very basic. If you want a nice room and at low price this is a great palce. I would stay there again no question.

Affordable night, clean room. If you prepay, then it's okay. However, there's no desk person between 11 pm and 7 am, so if there's any billing problems, and you're checking out early, it could be a problem.

The Extended Stay concept provideds a kitchenette with stove, medium sized fridge, microwave and basic kitchen utensils, including a pot and a pan, silverwear, dishes and cups. This is convenient if you wish to relax and/or save $. The downside is that the room is not checked, cleaned or resupplied if your stay is less than a week. No shampoo, conditioner or lotion in the room. plus, no hair dryer. Aren't those items a standard in hotels? Also, very difficult to find the frontage road to get to the location. Even with a Garmin.

This is our second stay at this hotel. Staff was very nice, rooms were clean, but the beds!! Uhg!! We got a call from the staff on our room phone stating they were doing a survey of our stay. Asked about our nights stay. My Wife told them the beds are like sleeping on a the hard ground with a mat over them and every one had a back aches. The staff said, […] "Sorry about that, we hear that a lot." Wow! they admit to it but don't change it since our last stay in 2008? Well, we have to find another hotel it appears. The hotel was better than I was expecting. The room was clean and neat. The receptionist was nice and answered all of my questions. Next time I go to Rochester, I will stay here again.

Comfortable and spacious room. The hotel is close to SuperTarget (has groceries) and the restaurant ordering service is great. Shuttle to the Mayo Clinic and St Marys Hospital is great. The only downside is the few number of TV channels to choose from.

Did not like charge for internet use; tv very small

Surprised at no blow dryer. Many complimentary items but no hair dryer in bathroom.

The shuttle to the Mayo Clinic facilities was great. It was on time and made a few stops at other hotels, but it wasn't excessive.

Nothing fancy, but; clean room, hot shower, friendly staff, and great price. I've stayed at both the north and south Extened Stay and have returned many times. Lokking forward to this week's stay

Immediately when we walked in, we both said "Mmmmm. Smells fresh!!" Room looked great, was extremely clean and felt homey. We loved the kitchen- the room really met our needs. Very happy we stayed there.

When I checked in they asked me what was my reason for staying with them(not in a cheerful "business or pleasure attitude"). I told them visiting family. The next day they called my room and said it was very important I call the front desk. They wanted to know why I was staying with them. They said corporate needed to know. Frankly, I don't feel it […] is any of their business and was quite offended. The walls are paper thin. I could here people coughing and talking next door, very loud footsteps above me. When we got there the front office was closed. In order to get the room key you have to punch in your last name and get a key from a mail box. That would have been fine except our reservations for our two rooms were nowhere on the hotels records. We had to call and have someone come in. Luckily we had a print out of the reservations through hotels.com […] with the confirmation number. They had to reregister us and all of this was at 11:30 p.m. They had to rescan our credit card and insured us we would not be rebilled. We are very concerned about this. Lisätietoja
