Vietimme vuoden vaihteen Disneyn Animal Kingdom Lodge -hotellissa, joka oli kaikinpuolin loistava valinta. Arkkitehtuurisesti hotelli oli todella hieno ja upea safarimainen lomakeidas, jossa silmä lepäsi. Ystävällinen plalvelu ja buffet-ravintolasta sai hyvää ja monipuolista ruokaa. Suuri lämmitetty uima-allas ja muutoinkin kivat puitteet perhelomalle. Liikkuminen puistoihin Disneyn busseilla sujui mutkattomasti ja hotellin asukkaana puistoihin oli mahdollsta päästä ennen niiden avaamista muulle yleisölle. Kokonaisuutena ehdottomasti paras hotelli, jossa olen yöpynyt Orlandossa monesti vieraillessani - tosin huonehinta yöltä on myös kallein;)

Aivan ihana hotelli. Huoneet isot ja siistit. Altaat mukavan lämpimät ja ohjelmaa lapsille ja aikuisille. Ystävällistä palvelua. Hinnat ehkä hiukan kalliimpia mut lähellä on kauppoja ja ravintolaita.

Majoituin Rosen Inn - Closest to Universal -hotellissa 9 vuorokautta. Suomalaiseen makuun luhtitalon tyyppisesti toiminut huoneistoratkaisu oli alkuun vähän erikoinen, mutta yleisesti ottaen kyseessä oli hinta/laatu -suhteeltaan varsin hyvä hotelli. Huoneisiin kuuluu hieman melua moottoritieltä, koska ovet olivat aika ohuet. Ilmastointilaite oli kovaääinen, mutta sitä ei tarvinnut pitää onneksi koko ajan päällä.

Tämä Universal Orlando – Pohjoinen International Drive -osassa kaupunkia Orlando sijaitseva Crestwood Suites on lähellä kohteita Florida Mall, Wet N' Wild ja Festival Bay Mall at International Drive.Lähistöllä ovat myös Fun Spot USA ja Mall at Millenia.

Crestwood Suitesn 144 ilmaistoidussa huoneessa on kahvin-/teenkeitin ja hiustenkuivaaja. Vieraat voivat selailla kanavia huipputason kaapeli-televisiossa. Huoneissa on työpöydät ja puhelin sekä ilmainen vastaajapalvelu. Ilmainen langaton nopea Internet-yhteys on käytettävissä. Kaikissa huoneistoissa on keittiö, jossa on mikroaaltouuni, jääkaappi ja astiat / ruokailuvälineet. Kylpyhuoneissa on suihku/amme-yhdistelmä.

"Hotel needs a makeover"
We had 2 rooms. 1 was ok, the other one was a disaster. It smelled bad and was visibly dirty everywhere, even a big rust stain (I hope it was rust) on the sheets. They did move us into a better room which saved the trip for me, but the fact that they would put someone in the other one in the first place was a huge turn off. This was a last resort stay after I could not find anything through my RCI membership. Slim pickins' for the week between Christmas and New Years. Pros: * It was close to where I was working. Cons: * Front desk may or may not be manned. * A/C stank terribly of mold * There is a natural gas pipeline station IN THE PARKING LOT!!! It was "venting" most […] of the time. * Room and furnishings are so dirty I placed towels on them to sit down. * Had to keep calling their ISP in ANOTHER STATE because the front desk could do nothing about the internet going down. Nice customer service there; let the guest call to get their internet working! I will find a nice campground and stay in a tent before I would stay here again. "get what you pay for"
Room had an odor, asked for non-smoking got smoking, very noisy, bed was very hard. Upon waking up house keeping knocked wanting to know if we were leaving that day (the day we were suppose to leave, we still had 2 hours) shortly after that we got a phone call from the front desk asking us if we were leaving...

The hotel on Socrum Loop Rd, this is a beautiful hotel. The service at the front desk was excellent when we booked in the first night, however, upon entering our asigned room where my husband and I stayed for a weekend wedding we smelled an unpleasant. smell coming from the carpet. If you don't mind the bad smell in the hallways, the old musty smell in the rooms plus lumpy mattress then its OK for a one night stay even though I would recommend better staying on International Drive paying a lil extra because the location is not the best if you're with kids and don't want to be driving for everything.

Absolutely terrible!! On duty Manager was explaining wireless/hotel information to me and kept saying "ya feel me". Real professional!! Bed springs broken and sagged in middle. Air didn't work and kitchen and bathroom was absolutely dirty as can be. Halls in hotel stunk. Don't ever stay there....YA FEEL ME!!??

"Questionable, at best...."
If you check in after 9:pm, you will meet a very nice person who works until 4am. He advised me at check in that the hotel was "old" .... that is OK by me. What is NOT "OK" .... killing 3 roaches in the room and feeling like I had to sleep ON the bed and not IN the bed.... yuck, gross, stink, and nasty. Find another hotel. There is an overstuffed double chair in Rm#114 that I believe has fleas. If it does not, something else in the room has fleas. Within hours after setting into the room I started minor iching, but by the next morning I was covered by numerous bites that quickly formed blisters. The overall Hotel is great, convinient, close to the airport, about 9 miles, it took me 12 mins. to get to the airport on an early Monday morning. Ok so when you pull up to the property you may feel like your in the middle of no where...its near some Industrial Place, but there is no noise, so its not a bother. Universal is 3 min right down the road, there are several places to eat in the area like Fridays, Panda Express, Arby's and more! The convience completly out weighs the area the Hotel sits […] in. The night Manager is the nicest guy you ever wanna meet. We were a late arrival so we called ahead, which was no trouble at all, just be aware the desk closes at 9pm durring the week at 8p on weekends. He was very helpful and made us feel at home! The hall carpet is old and dingy, def needs some upgrading. The room is very cozy though. Nice Queen bed (which is a great change from the double) Nice Fridge, 2 burner stove, microwave, small coffee pot, iron+board, couch, small sitting area....everything you need for a short or longer stay. Granted the carpet needs to be replaced and the couch had some staining, but the room was comfy, roomy and for the price we paid for 1 night you really cant go wrong. The hotel was a bit out dated, but not horrible. I was surprised to learn that it is an extended stay hotel. I did not like that at all. The carpet needs to be replaced or cleaned very well.

I could not get a pillow once the manager left. The toilet stopped working and nothing could be done till the next day when maintance was onsite, which was inconvenient for a seven month pregnant woman to drive to a 24 hour walmart to use the bathroom during the night. The room wasquite large with a kitchenette. However, it did not feel clean, and did require some maintenance. While we were never threatened, we did not feel safe in the hotel.

not real bad for the price. Carpets were awful. Much masking of carpet smells was going on. Room air conditioner was loud. Place needs updating Staff never showed up on Sunday AM by the time I left at 8:17am.so could not get a zero balance receipt.

"A VERY SCARY EXPERIENCE"
When I walked in the lobby I got the feel it had been a nursing home and it kind of had the look to go along. It was a serene yet erie feeling. When checkin was finished I walked to elevator to go to my floor to check out my room. AWEFUL!!!!! the smell was horrendous as if someone was cooking chitterlings, wallpaper was peeling off the bottom portion […] of the wall. It was an extended stay being rented out as apartments also. The tenants had the look of a half way house out on paroll of violent offenses. No one was friendly. Room was small and not well kept. The entrance door had been previously kicked in by appearance because it could not close completely. Carpet was dirty and sticky, alarm clock did not work, soap wrappers were damaged so I did not trust the soap. I tried to get on the internet but couldn't because too many people were already logged in under hotel password. I did not get any sleep. Only a 30 minute nap. I was awaken by a shaking bed and a nightmare. I call to request service with my bags to the car and was told no such service. The front desk was closed with a metal shade. Me and my infant son rushed out of the hotel and will never go back again. I find out minutes later at the denny's around the corner there is a prison 2 miles from the hotel. THIS IS NOT A FAMILY ORIENTED HOTEL AND HONESTLY PUTS TRAVELERS FROM OUT OF STATE IN DANGER. This was the nastiest hotel I have ever stayed at. Upon check in, I had to wait 15 minutes to acknowledged. I was the only person there. So that was ridiculous. When we went to our room, there was a couch with cigarette holes all over it, stains and a foul smell. The room looked filthy. We didn't even bring our things in because we were afraid we would […] get bed bugs. The place looked decent from the outside, but the inside is hell. It looks like a prison, and the rooms are very dull. Curtains didn't even cover the windows all of the way. Windows opened, but had no screens on them. There is a water tank or something in the parking lot that you can hear clanking at all hours of the night. The room smelled awful. ANd housekeeping came to our room at 10 am to see if we were leaving. C/O was at 11. It was not needed to come bang on the door. Then the front desk called and asked when we were leaving. Overall, the stay was awful. And NOT WORTH IT. I would rather pay 30 bucks more and stay at the Buena Vista Spa than stay here. The low cost doesn't even make the stay worth while. My family arrived here late in the evening when getting to Orlando early for our Disney vacation. The outside of the hotel looks great, but inside was dirty, old, stained and we didn't even cover up with the blankets. "Nice Place"
The hotel was in a good location and the staff a was helpful and friendly. However, I was locked out of my room twice because the card was deactivated. The night manager came and reactivated the card and said that it usually happens if you are checking out the next day. NO!! But the overall stay was pleasant.
