Just Lovely Perfect Location Well maintained We stay here every trip to Winthrop

This was a great place to stay. It was just far enough from Boston to get a nice "New-England" feel while being close enough to get into the city in about 10 minutes with convenient Public Transportation. The staff was very nice and accommodating. They explained how to easily take the bus (there is a stop right outside the hotel parking lot) to the […] train which takes you right down town. This is a nice place to stay. It was a clean reasonably comfortable room and the staff was friendly. It was also a very good value. It is right under the flight line for Logan airport in Boston. I spent time in a couple of the rooms during my stay. One of the rooms had very little airpor noise the other had a lot.

Nice room, great local flavor and see salt smell, nicely redone bath, bed badly in need of new mattress, great Italian family restaurant down the block.

This Inn is in a lovely location down by the waters edge on the eastern side of Boston. We were only staying the one night to catch the flight out of Boston International Airport early the next morning. The Inn is easy to find with a decent map or careful interpretation of something like Google Maps printed off (without diversons for road works) - although […] inevitably you're going straight through the centre of Boston - so not much room or time for adjustments. The Inn itself looks idealic - a true picture postcard which is its real strength - combined with the cleanliness of the room. The whole complex looked fresh and well kept. The room was sufficient for us but should be pointed out that for some it might be a bit on the small side, with just one queen bed and not a lot of additional space. Ours had a balcony with a sea view - stunning! The shared kitchen and living room was very well done - everything there that you'd need and more. Our only concern was that there wasn't a lot in the area - unless we missed it, be under no illusions that this area is on a peninsula wtih very limited local run down shops and local restaurants only - and even travelling some distance will only bring you a Burger King and DD to choose from. We might have missed something here - but perhaps not. We just weren't expecting it. Our 'cosy' room did the job, and on that basis I would recommend this Inn to others. Lisätietoja

THIS WAS A GREAT PLACE TO STAY FOR THE NIGHT AFTER AND BEFORE MY FLIGHTS IN AND OUT OF BOSTON. I HAD A RENTAL CAR OTHERWISE GETTING TO THE AIRPORT MIGHT BECOME A ISSUE NO SHUTTLE AND THE BUS IS A LITTLE WALK DOWN THE ROAD WHEN TAKING LUGGAGE. Pleasantly surprised. Clean, simple and easy to find. Ideal for that first night after a long flight if you don't want the expense of an airport hotel or the hassle of driving into Boston.

We chose this hotel specifically because it was close to the airport. I was pleasantly surprised by the location. The views from the hotel are beautiful. Also, it's a quick walk around town and there's a great Italian restaurant nearby. The only negative is that the bed was really uncomfortable.

Called to confirm late arrival was told there would be a night clerk. When I did arrive, no night clerk and my key in an envelope in the foyer (for anyone to retrieve) with my name and room number on it (safety concern). Rooms small but quaint. No extras for this hotel. No elevator so had to lug luggage up 3 flights of stairs in a tiny stairway. Perhaps […] good for in season travellers with families. Cute from the outside. As other reviewers have mentioned, the walls are indeed quite thin. My neighbors were quiet so I wasn't really bothered by this but I'm sure it would have been a different story with a fussy toddler or deaf TV watcher in the next room. There is a communal kitchen and a pay-per-use communal washer & dryer. City center is only about a fifteen-minute drive away. The town of Winthrop doesn't have much to recommend itself in terms of restaurants or activities but it does have a lot of beautiful bayfront property. All in all, not bad for the price. Lisätietoja

Nice little place, perfect for my one night stay. The staff was very accomidating..

The Inn at Crystal Cove is snuggled in a beach community and has a pool. You get a great view of Boston Harbor and planes landing at Logan if you walk to the beach. There is a wonderful long walk out to Deer Island. Downside was no in-room coffee, no face cloths, room pretty small, staff not overly congenial or able to help with information.

We were delighted with this hotel - good facilities, lovely view of Boston, good beach mile away, ferry to downtown Boston right across street much easier and cheaper than bus and train, nice swimming pool, excellent kitchen and shared lounge.

The price was good for what we needed the hotel for. We needed the hotel due to a late flight and no other options were available. Staff worked with us to ensure we were not charged for a "no-show" due to the lateness of our flight. Twin double beds throughout hotel. Unless you happen to be a crow don't believe the distance from airport lists... It's over $20 by taxi. I found the place depressing and very lived in with paper thin walls and windows - and no facilities at all - not even an accessible vending machine. I've stayed in better motels for a third of the price. My room was right next to the main office […] and kind of charmless - bathroom clean and presentable but the beds seemed 40 years old. The wifi worked well after phoning the desk and complaining - but the office is closed after 10pm so anyone having problems after that will whistle Lisätietoja

Hotel was very nice. The view was of the harbor and the Boston skyline and it was great! Winthrop is a nice neighborhood. The room was clean,not too expensive and conservative. Just what we were looking for!

we were very happy with our stay at the inn at christal cove. But to get to Boston you need a car to get to the Subway station. You can leave your car there for 5 USD and then it´s a short ride to Downtown. We had a nice roon at the bottom floor, with a queen and a twin bed, a full kitchen with big refrigerator and vieuw at pool and skyline. The only […] thing what bothered us a bit was the noice, not from the planes, but the walls are thin and at the botton floor is the allways closed door to go outside, and it bangs close very loud, and while we stayed someone got out and in every 30 minutes until late after midnight and we couldn´t sleep very well. Quaint, remodeled, harbor view, walking distance to beach, friendy staff, full kitchen in building...

DISASTER!

I found this hotel very unique. It is situated in a little seaside town on the other side of the airport from Boston. There is a convenient bus that picks up and drops off right in front of the hotel that connects to the Blue line train. The hotel itself is lovely. Our room opened onto a common lounge and full-sized kitchen. Our room also had its own […] balcony with beautiful water and downtown Boston views.The room was clean and breezy. The only complaint is its location near the airport, which brings some airplane noise that seemed to stop around midnight. We didn't notice the noise at all when we slept, but we were quite tired. Inn at Crystal Cove offers a view right on the harbor looking at boston. The neighborhood was quiet and charming. The Inn offers ammenities your normal life requires such as 24 hour wash and dryer, iron and board, blowdryer, etc. Our building had a full kitchen at our disposal with a commons and out door balcony. Inn at Crystal Cove is located 1-2 blocks from the commuter ferry to Boston which was a delightful surprise!

THE ONLY ISSUE IS THAT THE SHEETS ARE NOT DEEP POCKET AND THE MATTRESS IS SO THE SHEETS KEEP FALLING OFF BED WHICH MAKES IT VERY UNCOMFORTABLE

A quaint little place, more like a hostel. very small room communal kitchen. I only need the room for a few hours till my flight out in the morning. From what I could tell nice area with a great view of downtown from my window.

A very good place to visit Boston. Easy access by public transportation and the feeling of a seaside resort! The best of two worlds.

Upon arriving to the Inn at Crystal Cove, we walked through a group of people sitting in front of the office drinking and smoking cigars. Apparently there was a wedding party residing there. The woman at the front desk was pleasant but did not seem like she knew what she was doing 100%. We got our room key, went to our room to find 2 twin beds on opposite […] sides of the room and it was about 80+ degrees in the bedroom. We had booked a room with a queen bed or so we thought. There were no other rooms available and we then had to spend time finding another hotel which was A.) more expensive and B.) more driving after 3+ hours we drove to get there already. Hotel is old and badly in need of a makeover. Rooms were small, no fridge, tea or coffee making facilities. Hopeless for people travelling. Spa wasn't working, which was very disappointing as this was one of the reasons for choosing this place. I would go elsewhere in future.

I reached the hotel quite late in saturday night, mainly because of an unpleasant taxi-driver who made me pay 26£ the trip from Logan airport (whereas it should have been rather 15£, the difference being due to a so-called "airport tax" as he kindly explained to me). But the ladies at reception were still there, very professional and helpful. The room […] was very nice, with a great view on the sea and its sailing boats, the hotel's swimming pool and the buildings of Boston in background, with a nice balcony too where to relax on comfy chairs. Everything clean, modern and yet relaxing like a holidays house in a small cost village. The most surprising though was the quiteness that i did not expect: this seems to be a big hotel with many people going in and out but still, i did not hear any noise, no planes either, the walls/windows must be well insulated. I recommand this hotel to anyone who has to stay around the Logan airport and wants to avoid the ugliness of airport's hotels and wants to meet some real locals (but be aware of certain taxi-drivers who can "tip themselves" like in certain poor countries). The Inn at Crystal Cove is spitting distance from Logan Airport in the small town of Winthrop . . . a nice alternative to the pricey chaos of Boston and airport hotels. Within walking distance of small, homey restaurants and a really nice staff. The rooms weren't just clean but pretty and comfortable with a pretty view of the Boston Skyline . . . also, […] there's a great cab company, Viking Cab, just down the street who provide a great, flat rate service. Schönes, gemütliches Zimmer mit phantastischer Aussicht auf die Skyline von Boston. Kleine Restaurants in Gehweite. Absolut weiterzuempfehlen.

Das Hotel ist wirklich sehr süß. Direkt am Meer, mit Blick auf den Hafen und die Skyline von Boston kann man wirklich nicht meckern. War halt nicht downtown Boston, der Weg dahin ist mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln (Bus, Metro) zwar gut zu bewältigen (Bus direkt vorm Haus, Metro aller 10min) - auf die Dauer von 2 oder 3 Tagen, wenn man eigentlich nur […] Boston sehen will, aber doch nervig. Hotel ansich wie gesagt sehr toll, gute Gemeinschaftsküche, die auch Selbstverpflegung möglich macht. Zimmer zwar klein, aber absolut sauber und nett eingerichtet. Vill man sova någonstans så duger det gott. Vi var två tjejer som bodde där och det var varesig bu eller bä. En sak är att dom har dåliga "öppetider" när det gäller in och ut checkingen. Dvs det kommer inte sitta någon där och ta emot er om ni kommer sent eller vill åka tidigt. Men det funkar ändå. Rummet kändes helt ok för det priset. Det var en trevlig […] balkong vi fick.
