Westgate Town Center - Kissimmee

Awsome!

Quite impressive Resort with all relevant amenities and infrastructures to make your stay a pleasant experiences. My kids love the jacuzi in the master bedroom, it made night shower after spending the whole day at Walt Disney World Parks quite pleasurable!

If you're planning to stay at your hotel/resort for the duration of your vacation, than this is the place for you. However if you have plans to go to Disney, SeaWorld, or Universal, you will want to book elsewhere. Even if there wasn't MASSIVE construction going on the road leading to the resort, you would still have trouble finding it, as the road […] the resort is on, didn't exist in any one of the 3 GPS's I put it into. Once I found the place, it was a 35 minute wait to check-in (you are put into a queue line, so that's before you can even reach the counter), after which I was passed off to 3 different people before being given my room key and a MAP to find my building. (Oh, & there is a RESORT FEE & a DEPOSIT that they require you to put down, which is NOT included when you book. So be prepared.) Once we arrived at our building there was NO WHERE to park, which resulted in us parking 3 buildings away and walking 3/4 of a mile to our room. However, the room was big & comfortable. It had a great bathroom with jet tub. The decor was a little to 80's for my taste, but overall it was a great room. Again the hassle was do to the arrival & exit of the resort, which you can avoid if you don't plan on leaving for the entirety of your stay. Lisätietoja

Love this hotel. The only bad thing was the 90 minute tour for time share which turned out to be 3.5 hrs and ended with us walking away due to the gentlemen being disrespecful. Their is tons of things to do around and in the hotel

I agree with the other reviews that checking-in took too long, but other than that everything was exceptional, including staff, house keeping, maintenance, etc. This place was imaculent, well run, tips were not accepted. We left our coats in the closet upon check out, returned the next day to find everything intact at the lost and found. My family and I stayed at the Westgate,for a one week vacation. We got the 2 bedroom villa, which was actually a 1 bedroom HUGE villa, with an additional private attached 1 bedroom studio with 2 double beds & it's own separate kitchenette and bathroom. The larger villa area was so wonderful...spacious, luxurious, comfortable, great screened in balcony […] (noisy though by the pool), jacuzzi tub,large shower, extra bathroom (3 altogether!), king bed, fully stocked kitchenware, and more. Other reviews stated a LONG CHECK-IN process: We arrived by 2pm and avoided the 4pm check-in rush. My advice to a peaceful beginning to your vacation: CHECK-IN EARLY, go for lunch or a swim, and come back in (without the wait) to get your room assignment. (Rooms won't be ready until 4pm). Highly recommended. This new suites have everything you need to have a wonderful stay in Orlando. From 1 to 5, I give 5 to everything.

Incredible bed, property was very well maintained. We had a great time.

This place would be great if you were spending several days in the Orlando area. My husband and I stayed for only one night and I would have much preferred a different place. First, they charge a $12 "resort fee" which is not advertised. This is a small fee if you use the amenities, but if you come to the room late, fall asleep, wake up and check out […] it is $12 that could have been better spent. Second, they take your credit card number, which is normal for all hotels, but unlike most hotels THEY ACTUALLY CHARGE YOUR CARD! The $50 they actually charge to your card isn't returned for 3-4 days (I still have not gotten mine back). This is unnecessary and also not advertised on check in. The hotel staff member just said they needed a card on file, I wasn't told it would be charged. This place is set up for longer stays and would be great for that purpose. I suggest that if you are just looking for a place to crash for one night, that you find someplace else. I booked this because it seemed clean and safe and I thought we might spend more time at the hotel in the evening than we actually did. I will not book here in the future. Lisätietoja

Awesome property with dining, shopping and great amenities on site. Great locations.

There was a guard at the gate which was great. The staff was very busy but they were helpful, professional and friendly. Alot of amenities and the villa was like an apartment. Will def. stay again

We were hoping to find a permanent place to come when we use our annual passes, THIS IS NOT IT! It took 1 1/2 hours to check in. Had to go to two different checkins so the could timeshare pressure you. Info given at front desk was all incorrect about the hotel. My daughter didn't get to swim when we got here cuz it took so long to check in, pool food […] places closed. Needed maintenance twice took an hour both times to get there. The beds were uncomfortable and you could hear everything through the walls. Great amenities unfortunately the staff and procedures ruin it. Lisätietoja

The resort itself was very convenient , in that it included a sports bar , grocery store and many other amenities. Plan on returning as I often visit the Disney area.

We had a studio - thought it was just great. Basically, everything was good except the check-in. It took forever. The person we dealt with was extremely slow and very inefficient. Also, traffic in the resort area is very very busy.

The room was clean and well stocked. Very nice to have a full kitchen and living room area so the kids didn't feel cooped up in a regular hotel room setting. All I can say on the negative side is they do not have enough staff on hand to properly handle the telephones or check in (which took almost 90 minutes). I tried to call several times to confirm […] check in and room category and held on for over an hour before I could get a live voice on the phone. My entire family enjoyed the resort to the fullest n the clean room n bath was perfect. I would recommend it.

The area was nice close and convient to everything, it was a nice resort especially for families but the sheets just made me itch and the tub was stopped up

I had a very pleasant stay at the Westgate Town Center! Upon arrival, check-in was easy (do watch out for extra fees!) and the staff was very friendly. My room was very clean and exceeded my expectations (huge kitchen and lounge area, clean shower and a whirlpool tub, 2 TVs and a DVD player, and a lovely balcony). I thought the resort fees were a bit […] ridiculous at first, but they covered activities (mini golf and the swan boats are a must do!). There are 13 pools in the resort, all within walking distance and there are plenty of activities to do within the resort without ever leaving. Stay was excellent. Suite was clean. My son loved the pools and the swan ride. Only downside was we got up early for the sales pitch and was told they gave us the wrong time and location. Can't get that sleep back. next time will skip the pitch and just enjoy ourselves.

The resort was nice, and clean . The customer service was Poor. Had to ask questions about there hotel that should've be explained at check in. Internet didn't work. House keeping knocked on the door with do not disturb sign on the door. Took 37 minutes to check in only 2 peoples at the desk.

Room was outdated and bed was horrible. It was hard and felt like a bed out of a cheap motel. It was do uncomfortable I opted to sleep on the sofa. Area road is under construction and exiting the hotel was a nightmare. Will not stay there again but thats what I get for the price I paid...

The Hotel complex (it is huge!) is very close to the Parks..great for families as the rooms are quite large and you can make it a suite for even more people! Fridge-sink with a coffee pot was perfect for a single room. Our friends had a suite with washer/dryer/stove and 2 bedrooms. Plenty of restaurants within a mile or 2. only complaint....the bathroom […] was not as clean as one might like. This is a very confortable and convenient hotel location. I have stayed with this location several times and I rate them one of the best in the area. I highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for a home away from home.

Overall the resort was good. Just don't get talked into a timeshare. Take advantage of the resort amenities. The rooms are a flashback to the 80's.

Excellent place to stay... Fun things to do around the hotel.. Although you might want to think twice about doing the free breakfast tour... it takes a little longer than they tell you but the rewards are nice from it..

I stayed on the 6th floor and had such a view from my balcony. It had 2 tvs, full size fridge and microwave, a shower and a jacuzzi and as soon as I checked in the bell guy drove me on a golf cart to my room! I had a lot of fun with the room itself! Westgate has to much of a sales atmosphere. Everyone reminds you of a use car salesman. It`s a big place but you have to wait hours just to get a roll of tissue. The customer service is bad. I literally had to stand in the middle of the parking lot and flag down a worker to get toilet tissue. I had to wait over an iron to get a iron that worked. If you are looking for all of the comforts of home without the hassel of yard work, pool cleaning, etc...then this is the place for you. Not only is everything you can ever imagine needing on the premises, including restaurants, grocery store, spa, the multitude of activities for kids from 1 to 101 are abundant.

Our stay at Westgate is very pleasant and comfortable The place is very clean and well maintained. Our family stayed at a 3-bedroom suite for a group of 10 with plenty of space to spare. I will 100% recommend Westgate to all my families and friends to stay. From now on, this is the only place we will stay when we are in Orlando.

Very nice place but beware, it will take you a VERY long time to check in (over 1 1/2 hours) for us. There are a lot of buildings and only one central reservations building . This is a time share and they will try to get you to go to a meeting.

The only thing wrong was the bed was not as comfortable as mine at home. Overall great resort for the price.

This is a nice facility and met our needs however check in is a little slow. I believe a lot of the customers were non frequent travelers and the line seemed to move pretty slow.

Nice just as pictured. Only complaints spot of sticky on floor and the room was near indoor pool. So there were kids screaming until pool closed at 11:30 at night. Beds were confartable, it was in a nice location close to Disney World.

Except long check-in time, all is good.
