Melu kuuluu huoneeseen hyvin, koska ikkuna oli jotenkin viallinen. Aamulla ja illalla kadulla on kova meteli, iltaisin iltajuhlijat ja aamuisin autot ja muu liikenteestä aiheutuva meteli. Hotel is older but well maintained. Our room was small but acceptable. Our room smelled of old socks while our friends room was larger and smelled fresh. Noise level was high from the street until 11pm. Elevator is small and no breakfast included with room. For the price we paid, it was a good value. A friend referred this hotel to me because she had previously been a guest at the hotel. Upon my arrival, I did not receive assistance with getting my luggage and bags to my room. I was surprised because I thought I was staying at a hotel, not a hostel. The female desk staff who was there when I checked in was not friendly at all. I encountered another […] female staff, who owns a white iPhone, who was not friendly either. My questions seemed to annoy her, and she was not accommodating at all! There was a super nice guy who worked the evening/night shift, and it was his kindness that helped me to feel better about my stay at the hotel. The room was small for the daily rate, and the platform bed was too low to the floor. The air conditioning worked well, there was a safe in the room, and the hot water was plentiful! The surrounding neighborhood felt sketchy to me when I first arrived, but as I began to move around the area that evening and the next day, I felt better about the area. Nice clean hotel, situated close to the rail station and airport bus stop. About 20 mins walk to promenade, and plenty of useful shops, bars etc nearby. Staff have friendly attitude, only too pleased to correct my poor French and indeed complete sentances for me in English. Would stay there again, as 3 star hotels go, this is good value for money.

The single room is a bit tight. There is barely enough room to get a large suitcase in. The doubles are much better. The walls are all sound-proofed so its not too loud at night. The proximity to the Nice Ville train station is great, a 5 minute walk. The surrounding neighborhood is a bit seedy but possible to avoid if you stay on the main street.

Everything was nice looking, clean and comfortable. The shower cabin was narrow. They did not have a corkscrew at the reception. In general I really liked the hotel.

The Hotel de Madrid was the perfect hotel for us. We used Nice as a jumping off point for other towns on the riviera and the hotel was about 5 minutes from the train station. Yet it was close to the main square where we went for dinner - about a 15 minute walk down the main shopping drag of Nice. Bathroom was the only issue - very very small - had to keep the door open to move around in there. Shower was for a very thin lilliputian - I don't think I could bend down in there. But it was very clean, towels were ample and new daily. Staff was super helpful - great recommendation on restaurants and how to get places. They even let me talk to my son on the lobby phone when he called and I was at the desk. Hotel was quiet even though we had a street room. I booked his hotel due to the good ratings, i should have assumed somethingwas wrong when theprice was so low. The area was dangerous and definately at the wrong end of town, in fact I nearlt booked in somewhere else. However, if you are on a budget the price is good and if its just somewhere to sleep, you can live with it. No parking at hotel location […] and I bet you could even rent a room by the hour... The Hotel was nice despite the small appearance of the Hotel from Outside. However the room where large enough not to feel claustrophobic. The bathroom is another story. My husband and I had to take turns to take a shower. if you have a little extra weight on, it could be challenging to maneuver around in there. But Again for the price, the hotel was […] great! This hotel was conveniently located near the train station but far away enough to not hear the traffic at night. Hotel staff was very friendly and the room was one of the better ones I've seen for this price. Very convenient if you are taking the train, otherwise rooms are very small, not a good neighborhood .

The hotel was in a busy location close to central Nice and train station. The hotel staff were helpful and fairly friendly. The room was clean and larger than expected with lovely stylish decor in black and white. The room was clean with large bed, medium/large flat screen tv. and tea and coffee making facilities. There were restaurants, clothing shops and gelato shops nearby as well as a laundry mat just 1 min walk form hotel. We didnt spend much time in the hotel but thought the beds were comfy, shower waaaay too small generally good value. The area at night is definitely a bit dodgy as nearly got my handbag stolen whilst we were eating dinner outside a restaurant on rue d'alsace which is the next street down but this was nearly at midnight. Very basic hotel with no bar or pool. Good location for using local transport i.e.trams, train etc...Hotel is very dull with NO feel good factor. If you dont get there you haven't missed anything....

The hotel was clean, room was comfortable, nicely decorated, however, the only complain that I have of the room is that the TV had 10 channels, 9 of them in French and one in Spanish. The staff was friendly and helpful. However, the only negative thing about this hotel is the location. Is a bit scary at night, is a good 20 minute walk from all attractions, […] and old Nice. While walking old Nice, we noticed that there were many, many hotels in that are with the same prices that we were paying here. Booked a double superior room, so was expecting room to be quite big, but it was very small and had twin beds which was a bit of a let down. Bathroom was tiny, only fits one person at a time, and shower was very small, could barely move in it!! Room was nicely decorated, modern and clean, it was cleaned daily. Beds were very comfy. Airconditioning didnt […] work which meant we had to keep window open at night which was annoying as it got quite noisy at times!! A major downfall was that the room did not have a fridge, so any drinks we had were warm after 1/2 an hour!! Felt that the hotel was located in a quite unsafe area as the were a number of gangs that hung around outside it and the police were often around! I stayed at the hotel de madrid for 3 nights at a very reasonable rate. I was quite impressed! The staff was very friendly and helpful, spoke english, and the room was clean and renovated. The only thing that wasn't renovated was the bathroom, but it was just outdated tiling that didn't match the new modern decor not anything bad or malfunctioning. […] There is free wifi and the hotel is minutes from the main train station in Nice and right next to the main street that has lots of shopping, restaurants, and access to the main attractions of the city. J' ai apprécié la proximité de la gare : bus direct depuis l'aéroport, à 2 pas de l'avenue Jean Médecin et pas trop loin de Nice-etoile. La chambre était petite mais suffisante pour dormir. J'ai aimé aussi le calme et les nombreux restaurants à côté. Prix compétitif avec petit déjeuner convenable en self.

ニースの駅からは近くていいのですが、なにより店員の対応がよくなくむかつきました。 両替をお願いしたところムスッとした態度で「両替はうちはしてないよ」といわれました。客が入ってきても出迎えるわけでもなく奥からこちらをみてチェックイン済みと認識したのか挨拶もせずそのまま奥に座りっぱなし。 しまいにはなにかあったらしくフロントで従業員同士がけんかしている始末。 ベットメイキングをお願いする札も部屋に置いておらずもうさんざん。 部屋のシャワールームにいく扉も幅が狭く最後までひらかないし、シャワールーム自体がとてもせまかったのでちょっと太めな人はシャワーを浴びることができないかも。てか中に入るのが無理。そのくらい狭いです。 旅の最後に泊まったホテルなので最悪の終わり方になってしまいました。 大手チェー […] ンホテルなので安心してはいけないということをまなびました。 他のベストウェスタンは違うのかもしれないですがニースに行く際ここのホテルだけはやめたほうがいいですよ 二度ととまりません Lisätietoja

Bra service, sunkigt kvarter

Péssimo, o elevador ficou quebrado os 4 dias de nossa estadia, não tinha carregador de malas e nos colocaram no ultimo andar. O box do banheiro é horrível, vc não consegue se mexer. A limpeza é péssima não arrumam o quarto corretamente e não retiram as xícaras sujas. Não tem frigo bar e o ar condicionado tb não funciona. Não percam seu rico dinheirinho […] com esta bomba!!! very awkward small room. no maid was cleaning my room: it gave only one towel. Did not change the towel for the feet. for all days of stay has never changed bedding. after the first night in this hotel, I found many ants in the room. to my request to change the room into retseptions refused. not surprised that the rooms live ants. said it was fine. […] sprayed my room remedy for ants. When I got home, I found a lot of ants in my luggage. Now, these insects live in my house! I do not know how to drive! Lisätietoja

Vi bodde bara en natt, ok. men dåligt att det inte fanns några parkeringsplatser. När vi anlände tipsa hotellet om en allmän parkering som var ok. Men vi bodde en söndag natt och då fanns det några lediga platser, kanske svårare en veckodag! Väldigt små utrymmen toa och dusch.

Prisvärt hotell ett stenkast från huvudgatan och gångavstånd till det mesta. Mycket trevlig personal med goda engelskakunskaper för de som inte talar franska.

Vi valgte hotellet fordi det ligger meget centralt. Der er kun 2 minutters gang til tog stationen og højst 15 minutters gang til strandpromenaden. Der var god service på hotellet og værelset var rent og pænt. Morgenmaden var var fin.

This is an okay hotel, that is only 3 minutes walking distance from the railway station. I had a room at the back which is quieter than in the front. Room and bathroom were small. Design of room was really dark, although saw other rooms that were lighter. But for sleeping you don't need a lot of light! Internet is free. Det är ett prisvärt hotell. Vi trivdes jätte bra i förhållande till vad vi betalade. Däremot är servicen på hotellet under all kritik. Helt otroligt hur man kan vara så otrevlig när man har ett serviceyrke. kaxiga, okunniga och ointresserade receptionister.
