Pienet, mutta siistit huoneet. Sisustykseltaan vanhanaikainen Meidän huoneessa ei ollut kylpyhuonetta, mutta vain kerran ei kumpikaan kerroksemme kylpyhuoneista ollut vapaina, kun sitä tarvitsimme. Sijainti oli loistava, lähellä useita ravintoloita ja aamiaispaikkoja. Suosittelen matkailijalle, joka haluaa luotettavan hotellin yöpymiskäyttöön.

Hotellissa ei ollut mitään valittamista. Maksu toimi niinkuin pitikin, eli lisämaksuja ei tullut hotelliiin kirjautumisen yhteydessä. Yleisesti kaikki toimi hyvin ja palvelu pelasi. Kaikki respassa myös puhuivat englantia ja netti pelasi kaikissa huoneissa.

Hotel 31 yllätti meidät erittäin positiivisesti. Etukäteen muiden arvosteluja lukemalla oli jo tullut selväksi, että hotellin huoneet ovat varsin kompakteja, wc ja suihku sijaitsevat käytävällä ja hotellirakennus on varsin vanha. Eihän kahdelta tähdeltä mitään huimaa tasoa voinutkaan odottaa, joten odotuksemme täyttyivät oikein kirkkaasti. Useat New […] Yorkin nähtävyyksistä ovat kävelyetäisyydellä hotellilta. Aamiaispaikaksi suosittelemme Cosi-nimistä ketjua, joka on aivan kivenheiton päässä hotellilta. Erityisesti mieltämme lämmitti se, ettei hotellissa (ainakaan huoneessamme) ollut luteita, mitä etukäteen hieman jännitimme. Lisätietoja

This place was a little small, but comfortable. The TV channels were limted and the tv set itself was very small. The only isse I had was the community bath that they had on one floor. Other than that, this is not a bad place if youre traveling alone.

Convenient and friendly

too expensive but a good room

We loved staying at this hotel right in the middle of Manhattan, conveniently close to many sights, close to transport in all directions and with plenty of good eateries around. The hotel itself is of a very nice standard, well kept with terrific rooms. We'll be back on our next visit to NYC.

The hotel offers good facilities, clean and comfortable rooms, everything works as expected, in other words: all we had hoped for. Very centrally located. Worth the money that they ask.

Hotel 31 had a good bed to sleep in at night and wake up in in the morning; there was a nice personal sink for brushing teeth, combing hair, and washing hands; and the shared bathroom just down the hall was never busy and always clean in the four days I was there.

What a charmingly beautiful hotel. I could not have been more pleased to be there. I was a bit worried about the "shared bathroom" idea, but I should not have been. Hotel 31 is a quaint old hotel clearly beofre rooms had bathrooms (they have sinks). There are a number of PRIVATE bathrooms (tub/shower, comode, sink) on each floor and there was never […] a wait. This was a short break with friends the hotel was close to attractions clean and good service had own bathroom for the money was extremly good value

Hotel is nice and clean. Very small rooms, but if you just need a place to sleep for the night, it's great. Some floors have a few bathrooms for the entire floor so make sure you leave enough time in the morning incase someone else is showering. You do get a sink in your room though. They also have rooms with bathrooms in the room for a bit more.

Quite good quality/price-ratio. This is quite old hotel, but room has all you need. Next to hotel is a small grocery.

Room was quaint and cozy. Unfortunately, I had to inhale the fresh smell of paint in the room all night long. It made for a very uncomfortable night.

great no frills, clean, stay for the money... how long do you really stay in your room in new york city anyway............ get the room with your own bathroom.. they seem to be much more updated.

I am a active duty military member so when my fiance and wanted to vacation to NYC we were definately on a budget and wanted to get the biggest bang for our buck. Hotel 31 delivered that, the price of the room was awesome (Being it is NYC) your literally 3 streets away from Time Sq. and a quick subway ride to grand central. Heater was a little warm. I forgot to take my key with me once while using the shared bathroom, which was a bit inconvenient.

Hotel 31 was my first experience at staying in Manhattan, New York. Its located in midtown, and so was very close to time square, empire state, etc. The hotel itself is reasonably old, but I found this added to the experience. nice old style place with renovated rooms and baths. Comfortable, cheap. Order in from neighboring restaurants or go out--good food in the area. Highly recommended

This hotel is old, but well kept and maintained for what it is. The location is convenient to major sites; the shared bathrooms are very clean and we never had to wait to use it; the staff was helpful; the hotel was clean; the price was affordable. The hotel is clean and nice, just a 5-10 minute walk from the Empire-State Building. Very old-style, small and slow elevator. Bathrooms on the floor were small, but clean. If you are looking for all the modern conveniences, you won't get them here. If you are looking for a cool little old place with a friendly old staff, windows that open and an elevator from 1947, this is the spot.

Have stayed at Hotel 31 on 2 occasions for business. Hotel 31 is highly economical, clean and conveniently and centrally located. Booking Hotel 31 through hotels.com ensures the very best rate. I would stay at Hotel 31 again if hotels.com provided most economical rate.

My hotel stay was all I could have asked for. The room was very adequate and had a safe, which I always appreciate in a hotel room. Its location was very close to countless good restaurants. Conveniently located, budget hotel in Manhattan. My stay was for an interview at nearby Bellevue hospital (NYU), very walkable. Caveat is that I got a room with a bathroom, paid a little more for this feature. Other rooms use shared bathroom in hallway. Hotel was clean, service was good. Few cable channels. Free internet. I was super happy with the hotel. Coming in straight from the Horn of Africa it was absolute luxury. Very comfortable and the location was perfect.

Central heating,our room was on north side,colder then other rooms i assume. make sure get a portable heater at night.

I lived here for 3 nights, and I had no problems with shared bedrooms or such. It was all very good. The staff, however, was rather ignorant. We had to ask several different persons before they could tell us about how to get to the airport, if we didn´t want to use a taxi. And they had no clue about the prize either. In addition to this, their Wifi-connection […] was nowhere to bee seen. I found a connection at a café 50 meters from the hotel, so it wasn´t a big problem, but still it was annoying that they claim to have wifi, and still they haven´t. This hotel is located within walking distance of all the amenities. It is a budget hotel very clean comfortable and in a safe neighbourhood. I would definately return again
