Pitkän lennon jälkeen oli mukavaa, että hotellille ei ollut kuin 15min matka ja hotellinvastaanotossa palvelu pelasi mukavasti myös yöllä. Huone oli hieman käytössä kulunut ja vanhahtava, mutta hyvin siivottu. Mitään loistokasta hotellissa ei ollut, vaikka kuvien ja mainosten perusteella niin voisi odottaa, mutta toisaalta ei ollut mitään ikäviä yllätyksiäkään. Aamupala on lähinnä vitsi ja viikonloppuisin hotellilla tuntui olevan paljon paikallisia nuoria juhlimassa jotka hieman pitävät ääntä yölläkin. Ilmainen netti toimi hienosti. Hyvä perushotelli jossa hinta/laatusuhde on aika hyvin kohdallaan.

"Great Vintage find in downtown!"
Location is perfect for walking to anywhere downtown; restaurants, bars, parks, the pier, shops. Free parking in lot next to building. Free hot continental breakfast on our stay. Antique decor & charm, nice for a getaway for a couple.

Very cool. Location, staff, price all excellent. Downtown St. Petersburg is great for a weekend visit. You can walk anywhere you need to go except Tropicana Field but there are free shuttles for that. Enjoy !

This quaint hotel is in the perfect downtown St. Pete location. Staff was friendly and courteous. Room was cozy and comfortable, and furnished with antiques, complete with a claw-foot tub. "OLD"
The staff and location were a plus but not worth the cost even at the reduced rate. The building is as old as the hills and so is everything in it. No elevator so if you get put on the third floor then my sympathies are with you. If you ask me I say give it a pass.

"I would recommend"
Warning; There are no elevators and the bathrooms are tiny. But the ambiance, service, friendliness, price point, and location more than make up for that. The happy hour is a great bonus and breakfast was more than adequate. I would stay here again and I would recommend to my friends.
"The Pier Hotel -downtown St Pete"
The Pier Hotel is an older, smaller hotel but was very charming and the location could not have been better. The staff was extremely friendly and the complimentary happy hour (house wine and domestic beer) was a definite plus. The rooms are older and a little on the small side but the stay was a great deal. I would definitely recommend this hotel!

we checked in 4 hours early..hotel is a little older but the beds were nice and the room was cleaned..close to a lot of stuff.at the corner is a free shuttle to the rays game.the continental breakfast was almost as good as the free happy hour with beer and wine

This was such a cool hotel. Small and quaint. Like stepping back in time. The room was clean. The free happy hour at night was an extra added bonus. If your not looking for a big name hotel this is a great chose. Very unique.

This hotel is cheaper than the surrounding hotels (such as the Hilton, Marriott, Hampton..etc). It is an older hotel, so if you're looking for a new, up to date hotel..you probably will not like. The hotel staff is very nice, and the complimentary happy hour was great. Other than a problem with the hot water (none when I took a morning shower), it is a nice, older hotel. Friendly service. Unique.

The Pier Hotel is in walking distance to anywhere in downtown St. Pete. which made this location very attractive. The person who checked us in was very friendly and informed us of the hotel's amenities such as their complimentary happy hour and breakfast for the hotel guests. It was a bit hard to find the hotel because the awning only had the initials PH. The lush greenery hid the actual hotel sign. Overall a good experience. "Lover of older hotels"
Absolutely loved this hotel. Considering the age, our air conditioner ran perfectly but with the "old age" humm. Parking lot contained some water after the rain but they complimented that to us with no fee. Great help there. Those are the only 2 "slights" and everything else was wonderful. "VERY NICE"
if yiu like old buildings this is for you. Wonderful location, a block away from Baywalk. Breafast was nice. Will do it again.
"needs improvment"
there is no shower option and the showers are borderline unsafe. My window unit air conditioner did not work properly, had a broke front that kept falling off and cooled only to about 75 degrees. Miserably sleep because of that factor. I could hear other guests also.

This hotel offers a good location, within walking distance of downtown attractions. The staff are very helpful and the rooms are nice. The only drawback is the antique bath tub is small and the shower head wobles, curtains should be replace.

Hôtel sympa si on évite la chambre à côté de la machine à glaçons (104), ce qui n'a malheureusement pas été notre cas. Les chambres sont petites mais chaleureuses, la salle de bain est minuscule. L'hôtel est bien situé permettant de faire à pieds une ballade sur le pier et même le musée Dali si on est motivé.
