Excellent for the price it was. Nice, clean neighborhood of Ann Arbor near the North Campus of UofM. Buy the room for double beds because the price is about the same but more roomy. That is what I did - alone. Free room phone calls around all the USA ! I liked the simple breakfast too - it was all fresh and ok tasting even if it came out of bags...Danishes were great ( I do not usually even eat pastry). The only negative I found was that the walls are not the thickest! Ask to live in the 3rd floor and in the court yard (front side). While in town try Red Hawk's fajita salad, and Olga's Kitchen! ( I used to live here for school in the 90's and they have been around since!)

The first impression you get when arriving to any hotel is the way you are checking in. At Sleep Inn & Suites the check in was as easy as 123. The hotel personnel was very professional and kind! I stayed in the sleep inn & suites mainly because it was close to Michigan Stadium which is the reason why I was in Michigan. The workers were very friendly and the pool being open 24hours was very convenient as we did not get there until 10pm, and by this time most pools would have already been closed. When we went into the pool area, there were no […] towels so I asked the receptionist at the front desk and he gave me some immediately. We also wanted to check out at twelve rather than eleven and they assured us that this was not a problem. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others that are trying to stay at a good hotel for a decent price! We will definitely be staying here again when we return to Michigan in the future! My husband was racing his car at the Milan Speedway and we stayed at this location - hotel was clean, staff very friendly and helpful. Our room keys would not unlock the side door or pool door, the desk clerk gladly gave us new keys and clean towels for the pool. The breakfast was hot and the area was well stocked and kept clean. "pleasantly pleased"
We were pleasantly pleased with the quality of the hotel. Even though it was near the highway, we heard no noise. The bed was very comfortable. This was one of the best included breakfasts I've seen. The only complaint and it's a minor one is the the lighting is poor ib the bedrom for sleeping. We would go back there any time.

This hotel was a great value! I needed a low cost hotel in the greater Ann Arbor area - but also one that was clean. This hotel did a great job meeting those needs. It was a great stay and the only annoying part was a squeaky shower door.
"Good for quick trip"
I stayed here overnight for an event in Milan. If you're looking for spacious, this may not be for you. The rooms were pretty small and the bathroom consisted of a toilet and standing shower (no tub) the sink and things were on the outside. However, for a quick trip it's not bad at all. The staff was pretty nice and breakfast was your typical hotel […] fare, nothing super special. "Sleep Inn in Milan, Michigan"
It appears as though the hotel has been recently renovated, and it shows. It is very clean and comfortable, and the staff is friendly. It is within easy driving distance of Ann Arbor, and not too far from Detroit. Given it's low cost, it's a great place to stay.

This was a nice little hotel... The breakfast in the morning was fantastic. The hotel was very clean. There was not a bath tub... it was a little difficult to give the little kids a shower after swimming in the pool. A great feature was that the swimming pool was open 24 hours! It was quite a nice stay for an extremely reasonable rate. The front desk people were nice. Housekeeping left us alone as we asked for the four days of our stay but, were available as soon as we needed anything. The room was clean close to quite a few things if you didn't feel like going too far. Various quick restaurants, a pharmacy, gas stations etc.. […] One night we ate at the Milan Grill and it was Very good and also reasonably priced. You Must give it a try if you have time during your stay. Our King size bed was quite comfortable with Plenty of pillows. Shower is also very spacious & nice. Big enough for two. Air conditioning worked well & the windows of the room actually opened which was a Very nice surprise as so many hotels these days don't. It was nice to be able to have moments of fresh air. It rained for our entire stay but, we were still quite comfortable in the room and it's immediate surroundings. Last but not least, the breakfast was also nice. Tasty Belgian waffles you make yourself, yogurt, fresh fruit, juices. Delicious. All in all a very nice stay for a Very reasonable price. I would definitely recommend it to you or a friend. Enjoy! "Good experience"
We stayed for two days. Rate was reasonable. Room was clean which is all we really care about when staying in a hotel. Continental breakfast was good... plenty of choices. Staff were friendly. Only minor complaint was that nobody was at the desk when we arrived. We waited about 10 minutes then noticed the sign that said to call a phone # if nobody was […] there. Thing is there was no phone to use so had to use cell phone and incur roaming charges etc. Other than that, we were very pleased with the hotel and service. We will use this hotel again. Lisätietoja

The room was very clean, bed was comfortable. I wasn't impressed with the stand up shower. They have a great continental breakfast. All in all it worked for me.

Very friendly staff, clean room, good water pressure. Shower, but no tub in our room (we didn't need one either). Despite being next to the highway, we were able to sleep with the window wide open. Other than the highway, it's a quite area. We didn't try the breakfast (not hungry).

Room overall was excellent. Some personal likes -- bathroom actually had an exhaust fan that worked; the room A/C had a digital temperature set point that worked well. Personal dislikes -- sink was located outside of bathroom.
