"one night passing by"
Hotels.comin asiakkaan arvostelu touko 25, 2011spent one night here, hotel was clean and staff was friendly, only drawback was that after 9 pm we couldn't get any food, the restaurant next to hotel was already close. So we had to walk to get some fast food elsewhere. However hotel was good in our needs, as we needed just one night stay in our way to next town.

Very pleasant, it may not be a 4 star hotel but staff are very accomidating and friendly and rooms are comfy and cozy. Definitely definitely worth the money. Great location, easy to get anywhere. It worked well for me. My room was very basic, oldish, but it was clean, the desk staff were helpful and friendly, the restaurant breakfast was very good and reasonably priced. This hotel is very old-fashioned and although the rooms were comfortable and clean the room smelled a bit like the building used to be a home for old people (I don't know if it did or not). loved this little place! it was perfect for what i needed. i took a west coast trip from the middle of california all the way up to Victoria by myself and this place took good care of my weary traveling bones. my room was in the back courtyard which was nice and private and quiet! my room was clean and comfy. the staff was very nice. the front desk […] lady had some issues while checking me out that were quite irritating, but nevertheless, she got me out of there and all was well. the location is great, everything is in walking distance. didn't care too much for the food in the diner, so i only ate there twice out of convenience. but all in all, i would stay here again! We were allowed to keep our car in the parking lot longer than our actual stay at the hotel and that was appreciated. We loved that the walk to our place of business was close and interesting. we booked the room online and reached the hotel on August 11, 2012 at 4:00 PM but check in was not smmoth. There were problem with their system, so they ask us to come after 40 min for check in. Hotel was nothing fancy, but it was clean, safe, and comfortable, with mini fridge, but no microwave. Location is about a 10 min walk to the touristy stuff instead of in the middle of it for twice the cost. Hotel also has an attached "drive in" restaurant which was great food, great price. We stayed twice in Paul's Motor Inn and the rooms were always very clean. The hotel is located very close to Victoria's center (~10-15min walk) and is easily accessible with a car. "Wonderful Experience"
My courtyard room was perfectly secluded. The bed & pillows were comfortable and the street noise level minimum. The staff was more than willing to help in anyway needed. It's an older motor lodge that has been well maintained. Within walking distance to downtown Victoria and 20 min car ride to Butchart Gardens.Aito Expedian asiakkaan arvostelu

"Overnight at Paul's"
I specifically asked to be on the main level due to my husbands health issues, and we were placed on the 2nd level. This was difficult for my husband to negotiate. No elevator.. It was very warm in the room, the fan did not work and the front desk could not provide a replacement. "Cheap and cheerful."
Very basic and no frills, but the room was clean enough and the front desk was very helpfull with late checkout and letting us park there a few hours longer. Best rates and only 10 minute walk to heart of downtown. Would stay again.Aito Hotels.comin asiakkaan arvostelu
