Todella kiva hotelli. Colosseum oli kävelymatkan päässä ja lähin metropysäkki oli muutaman korttelin päässä. Hotelli oli tunnelmallinen ja ja tosi kotoisa. Lisäpisteet erittäin mukavasta henkilökunnasta. Oikein lämpimästi suosittelen.

Hotelli oli lähellä metroa ja bussia,eli oli helppo liikkua paikkaan kuin paikkaan! Huoneet ovat aika pieniä mutta eipähän Roomaan lähdetä huoneessa olemaankaan ;) Mielestäni hotelli on enemmän 3 tähden hotelli kuin 4 tähden.

Henkilökunta avulias ja ystävällinen.Hotellista keskustaan aika paljon kävelymatkaa, bussilla pääsee kyllä helposti.Huoneet pienehköjä mutta korkea huonekorkeus.Wc, suihku ym. toimi meillä hyvin.TV lähetys pätki koko ajan.Hotellissa hyvä pieni hissi.Ulkona tosi mukava sisäpiha.

The best thing about this small hotel was definitely friendly service. Everyone at the hotel speaked excellent or good english and did their best to serve customers. The location of hotel is good but not excellent. You can walk to the soutside of the center or to the Colosseum but if you go to the northern center or Vatican you have to use public transport. […] If you don't have heavy luggage it's possible to walk from the Termini station (main railway station) to the hotel when you arrive. Breakfasts in Italian small hotels are usually not very good and if you take that into account this breakfast was actually rather good or at least ok. Everything that was served was good but there could be more choices. We stayed in family room and it was a room with separate bedroom for children. Room was not very big but just enough for family with two small children. Bathroom was clean and renovated recently. The was also small balcony. This hotel is excellent choice if you prefer something else than standard big hotels and get room at good price compared to other 4 star hotels in Rome. Lisätietoja

I thought the service was fantastic - very knowledgeable and helpful owner/staff - but, the room I had was not comfortable, the floors were dirty, the electric blind did not work, so I had street lights beaming into my room all night, and the shower not only didn't drain, but the showerhead was broken. So, maybe it was just that room...

Overall a nice hotel, rooms a bit small and noisy, but decor of hotel nice, very art-deco,breakfast was good, Andreas on the front desk very helpful, about a ten minute walk to collesuem, 5 minutes to subway, 10 to rail way station. overall good.

We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The only thing we didn' enjoy very much was the breakfast it became very boring as it was the same items every day! Also as someone who hates the taste and smell of eggs it put me off having bacon because it was in the same tray as the egg. The hotel was a little of the beaten track from the termini and a direct walk took in some unsavoury areas with active prostitutes on corners. I would recommend metro to Manzoni then walk down Quintino to Statilla. Also not many eateries in location of hotel, again walk to Manzoni metro area to find reasonable eateries. We stayed for three nights at this hotel in Feb. Everything was very good apart from the 3 euro city tax that is extra per person per night. The rooms are a little small but are well maintained and full of art works. In fact the entire hotel is packed with antiques which made it really interesting. It was a pleasure playing cards in the main lounge. […] The breakfasts are good with good service. The location at the tram terminus gives easy access to the sites. it was a nice quiet hotel. the rooms are the usual european size. the breakfast was good with a nice variety and scrambled eggs & bacon. the staff made me feel at home. it is in the shadow of porta maggiorein the old city walls as well as aquaeducts. it is about a mile from termini station. the best to get there with luggage is to take tram 14 to porta […] maggiore and walk around the corner a little way. you have to look around for places to eat. but if you like to walk, it is about 2 miles from central rome, past the colloseum, forum. etc. Lisätietoja

The hotel was sold to us a 'secret hotel' next to the Central Rome train station (Roma Termini), but, it was a 7-10 minute tram ride or 15-20 minute walk from the station, which was not an auspicious start to our stay! Pro's: - A five minute walk to 'Manzoni' metro station on the B line, with a direct link to most major sights Con's: - Breakfast […] was very disappointing with barely any options and very insipid service. We had one person minding the buffet when there were about 20 guests at the tables, which resulted in most items vanishing from the buffet, never to return - The room's heating was a major problems with the thermostat stuck at one setting 'Very hot'.. We had to open both the windows in the room to get any sort of sleet (in December..)! - The water in the bathroom had a mind of its own, switching from hot to cold to hot again. - The hotel, though it claims to be a '4 star' hotel, had no business center/ printing facilities, which resulted in me having to go in search of an internet cafe for over an hour at 9 PM at night to book our voucher for the Vatican museum tour. - The internet in the room was a nightmare with the wifi signal being so weak, that we had to sit up in the bed and hold up the ipad get any signal on it and even when we did get a signal, the speeds were barely at a dial-up modem level. Very cute hotel, beautiful courtyard and great location, very close to the trams that take you to main station and underground! Hotel has alot of art hanging up, that me and my husband both really liked! One of our favorite hotels this Europe trip.

Unfriendly staff, they were refusing to print out our Colosseum voucher and they told us that if I bring my printer I can print out anything... Breakfast is poor only 1 kind of cheese/salami/ham...that's all The bathroom is small and in bad condition with only one shower. Rated four star, however i would say only 2 stars. Old mansion, converted into hotel with very very small rooms and badly decorated. Stale b'fast that is repeated day after day without any changes in the menu. Balcony rooms are most troubled due to street noise that doesnt die down even in late night.

The beds are old and tired and not very comfortable, however after a long day in Rome I could sleep soundly on a bed of nails! The price was good, the staff helpful, the location convenient and the included breakfast was quite good. Has a lovely little courtyard to enjoy the breakfast in.

For European standards maybe 31/2, but for american standards 3. A/c didnt work well.no wash cloths in bathroom. bed was hard.but it was small and pleasant like for a european experience. but not close to termini station . You still need to take taxi to terminal if u have luggage

A 4 star hotel which barely deserves even 3 stars, uncomfortable and small rooms, very poor breakfast and a total bad condition of the hotel as a whole, i really don`t know which rate system gave this hotel extra 2 stats more than he should have!!!

The staff and the location of the hotel was excellent. The breakfast served in the morning was excellent. However, the room was small which is okay but mainly the bathroom was not up to the standard of a four star hotel. All in all we enjoyed the stay but we felt that the hotel should be rated as three star hotel not four.

We booked this hotel under a 'secret deal' claiming 4 star design hotel. It is not worth 4 stars! I would say 3 stars. Rooms are very very small, barely any room each side of the bed, bathroom also very small. You could argue that in Rome you don't spend much time in the room, but even so, you could not swing a cat. Bed was hard and small (double). […] Worst thing to be honest was the noise from the road. Heavy traffic all the time and even with windows shut you can hear it quite clearly. Pleasant outdoor courtyard space. Interesting reception/downstairs, unusual art, quite liked it. Breakfast ok though scrambled eggs were always cold (could do with a candle or something under the silver tin/tray to keep warm)! Do ask for a latte macchiato or other type of coffee if you want it as kitchen staff oblige. Guy on front desk when I arrived rather surly and not very helpful! This is a 4 star hotel, but it does not feel like one. The hotel is very neglected. There were a lot of broken things, especially in our bathroom. The light was hardly hanging on the wall, the shower was broken and dirty, covered with mildew, there was a vent that was missing 2 of the screws, so it was hanging just on two others partially down. The […] room was big with tall ceilings, but relatively basic. Again, the hotel seemed very neglected and the staff was ok, but relatively cold and flat. The location was not too bad, the staff seemed ok but I didn't have much to do with them. My only questions was if I could change rooms as my bed was so hard & uncomfortable but the the hotel was full so no I couldn't. So, that brings me onto the room, technically it was four star but pushing that. The bed was so hard I had a bad back after sleeping. […] The curtains and blinds were broken so I could not open them so spent the whole weekend in semi darkness. and the general air was faded and a bit worn. The wi fi only worked in the lobby. The breakfast was good, it's a 20 min walk from the Colosseum and the lobby reception was bright and comfortable. We were really disappointed. The room was very noisy, the streets was about 10-15 feet to our bed. Beside it was too hot, the staff said aircon system was shut down in winter time (even if we were there in early October, maximum outside Temperature was higher than 84F). Only good point: nice breakfirsts.

I was prepared to be dissatisfied with this hotel as i purchased it through the Expedia blind hotel program based on the description and location in Rome. When I saw the name of the hotel and checked reviews I was very disappointed in my non cancellable purchase. The location description on the hotel's website states they are just a few short steps […] from the metro stop (these were their words, not mine). I was furious to get to the metro stop and find that the hotel was at least a quarter of a mile from the stop. It was 95 degrees in Rome and I had to drag a 40 pound suitcase for a quarter of a mile! With all of that said, I have to say my expecations were exceeded by this hotel in every other way: Room was delightful and effort had been made to provide a boutique type decor. No charge for wifi Excellent breakfast with many varieties of foods both hot and cold When it rained, there were complimentary umbrellas by the door for guests Beautiful courtyard and main floor entry that was very comfortable and inviting. Neighborhood very safe and lovely. My standards are very high as I have traveled extensively. My only complaint was the distance from the metro. I do not believe it is a four stars hotel comparing to all of the four-stars I have visited. The hotel is very old and the room is tiny. The bathroom does not have a bath tube. After put down our bags, there was no room for standing.

Nothing too much trouble for very friendly staff. Only (slightly) adverse criticism relates to the size of "bijou" bedroom but high level of cleanliness overall; the toilet facilities and shower were spotless and worked admirably. Excellent accomodation for the sightseer -Metro 5/10 minutes walk away.

THE STAFF WHERE REALLY NICE AND VERY HELPFUL.PLENTY TO EAT IF YOU WANTED A BIG BREAKFAST.THE ROOM WAS CLEAN THE ONLY DISAPPOINTMENT THERE WAS NO KETTLE TO HAVE TEA/COFFEE IN BEDROOM.HOTEL WAS ABOUT 15MINUTES WALK TO COLOSSEUM.I WOULD USE THE HOTEL AGAIN IF I RETURN TO ROME.

Positives - The young girl who served breakfast was very pleasant and very helpfull. There was also another blonde female who worked in reception who was lovely however apart from that we found the staff quite unpleasant and abrupt. We had a superior room which was a good size for being in a city. It was a short 10 min walk to the underground station. Free […] internet. Fridge in your room. Decent aircon. Negatives - We were greeted by the last guests pubic hair in the bathtub upon arrival!! The maids didnt really clean your room daily they made your bed and gave you clean towels but didnt take away dirty glasses or cups. The dishes at breakfast were not clean. There is not anything to do nearby the hotel at nightime however the tube station is a 10 min walk if you want to go back into the centre. We asked if there was a secure room to keep our luggage after check out the guy on reception then tried to hide our cases in the already cluttered reception area behind a couch however when informed this was not suitable he then put them in his office. Except for one of the receptionists, the entire staff were amazing! It is a decent hotel for the price, and is located within a 5-10 minute walk to a metro station. I would say the only true draw back is the size of the rooms and in particular, the size of the washroom. It was hard to find room to open two suitcases in the double bed room. Comfortable, clean rooms with friendly, helpful staff and within walking distance of metro, tram-line and bus services. We had a family room which worked well for my husband and I and our two daughters aged 11 & 9.

Every staff member we spoke to was remarkably helpful and all went out of their way to assist us with anything we needed.
