The hotel staff was courteous and check-in went smoothly. Parked directly in front of my room. The room was well-kept, and I had no problems with my stay. The reason for my visit was to attend a performance at the Melting Pot, which is a part of the Foundry Park property. Our family enjoyed our stay. Hotel was charming and convenient to the college. Pet friendly was a big plus. Bathroom could have been cleaner.

My wife and I came here for two nights a Wed and Thursday. No problems checking in. The hotel was nice, the room could have been in a little bit better shape, the front door didn't close quite right and it seemed like it was at the halfway point of needing to be updated. The bed and linens were very nice, the room and bath were clean. There was a microwave, […] coffee maker and fridge which were convenient. I stayed for two nights while attending a conference. The location looks difficult to get in and out but traffic during the weekday is minimal, it was no problem at all. So nice to come back to my room, get some work done, then walk across the parking lot to the lounge/restaurant. Excellent food, atmosphere, just relaxing. The Foundry in Athens, Georgia is a very nice hotel and the staff there are very helpful and polite. I would recommend this hotel to any one that wants to visit Athens. The location is desirable to the downtown area.

We loved our room especially the beds. We left our room to go out to dinner, when we got back the room wasn't cool. The night manager came right away and adjusted our A/C and it cooled right down.

This hotel has really comfortable king size beds and great black out curtains. The ac unit is a little noisy but it blocks out any noise you might get from the road so we slept really well here. The staff were helpful, you can park your car right outside the room and it's only a few minutes drive into Athens. Our room was large and included a fridge […] and microwave. The bathroom was clean and functional. The only issue was that the room smelt quite damp. Breakfast is not included - so you get to choose whether you want to eat here. the staff gave us a beer after we checked in..they were very helpful overall. There was security at night and live music in the bar. We had a wonderful time and UGA won their football game :)

It was GREAT!!! People were nice! Rooms were good! Nice music venue onsite! Only issue was parking!!!

The Foundry is my favorite hotel in Athens. The rooms are impeccably clean and the location is close to downtown.

For the price I was expecting average. The Hotel from the parking lot looks like any other, but the inside of the room was perfect. Very clean and very nice decor,tv, bathroom accessories, etc. We walked to many restaraunts and bars and walked back feeling safe the whole time. What more do you want ?

Foundry is short walking distance to all downtown Athens has to offer. Hotels.com had a great last minute rate that allowed us to stay there!

The standard room was, well, standard--but great for the money. Very comfy bed. But what made this place stand out was it's convenient location, super helpful and efficient staff, and overall great value. I'll definitely stay there again.

I stayed at this hotel originally because I found a good deal, but was pleasantly surprised at how quaint it was! It has many of the same amenities that you find in national hotel chains, but with the bonus of that Southern home feeling. The Melting Pot, a local live music joint, is located right on the property, otherwise walk just up the street and […] you're in downtown Athens, where all the bars and eateries are located. I would've like to see a free continental breakfast, (the Hoyt House was too fancy and expensive for a light morning meal) but otherwise it was the perfect spot for a quick weekend stop. Lisätietoja

The Foundry Park Inn and Spay played a very important part while in the Athens, GA area for my niece's wedding! It was convenient, close to my family's home, the rehersal dinner location and Fair Haven Plantation where they were married! Everything presented/stated on the Foundry Park Inn website can be relied upon -- room was clean and comfortable, […] The Melting Point had great entertainment, the staff was pleasant and eager to please and the food at the Hoyt Restaurant was super! Our waitress for breakfast was full of charm and old southern sweetness, but kept us laughing too! Everything was booked in advance -- all we had to do was show up and enjoy our stay! Hotel accomondations are wonderful. The restaurant needs attention. The menu in room for room service is outdated and item ordered was no longer available. Food was cold when delivered and salad was not included as ordered. I had finished with meal before I received salad.

So, we called to ask if they have restrictions on the types or sizes of pet that they would allow in the rooms. The guy said 25 lbs. or less. When we told him that ours were much bigger, (Great Dane & Australian Sheppard) he said that it wouldn't be a problem! Each room opens to the outside so that you don't have to walk your dog across a lobby. While […] we were there, we could hear other dogs, but it wasn't out of control. We have stayed at this hotel more than once and everytime is great! Room are very cozy, clean and comfortable! The staff is always very friendly and helpful!

Another great stay in this lovely Southern Inn.

We went to Athens for Athfest, the annual music festival. The Foundry Inn has an excellent location just outside the downtown area. We could walk to any destination in town. It is located across the street from the Welcome Center that offers walking tours of the town. There is a restaurant and bar on the property that had live music which was great […] when we wanted to stay close. It was obvious the rooms had not been used in awhile...although they were once cleaned, they needed to be refreshed. The A/C didn't work well in first room that smelled musty. The 2nd room still smelled musty although the A/C worked fine. I would never stay here again.

I requested a king size bed when I reserved the room but was told that since I booked through a third party that my reservation was a "lower priority" and that the kind bed wasn't available. I enjoyed my stay at the Foundry except for the noise. We were on the bottom floor and the guests above us were very loud. In addition, it was easy to hear everyone […] outside. The first room we had had fleas in it!! Gross! Called front desk and even though it was after midnight when we checked in, they sent security with keys to a new room for us to switch to. The Foundry Park Inn was a wonderful surprise. I have stayed in several of the chain hotels in Athens but none compares to the comfort and convenience of the Foundry. I love being able to park in front of my room and not having to valet park. I'll definitely go back.

We stayed here after an event at the Classic Center. Walking distance to downtown, great restaurants & bars, great room with a comfortable bed, outdoor pool, and great service! There were 4 weddings at the Foundry the weekend we were there, but they caused no disruption to the other people at the hotel. The double-headed shower is the BEST!!

The Foundry Park Inn was very nice-- beautiful furnishings, super comfy bed, assortment of pillow options, and dual showerheads for a fantastic shower! Also, the Melting Point room service was quick and so delicious. I am not a vegetarian but had the black bean veggie burger upon recommendation by the staff and, wowwwwww, it was so tasty! The Classic […] Center was just a block and a half away so it was very convenient to the conference I was attending. Altogether, a very nice stay. I would definitely recommend it. :-) Lisätietoja

Love that I could park in front of the door to my room. The only flaw was the tissue box was empty when I arrived. Very comfy beds, nice linens & pillows were fresh & plentiful. Clean & comfortable accommodations & beautiful grounds. Close to shops & restaurants in downtown Athens. My second stay here & I will return!

This was the second time we stayed at Foundry Park. We enjoyed our stay.

Great Hotel within walking distance of downtown Athens. The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. Hotel bar is nice and always has good music. If you like the night life it is a close walk to the many bars and clubs of downtown athens.

Very nice, big comfy bed....would definately stay there again!!!
