hot tube was too hot so noone could go there but swimming pool was nice,beds and sheet was very good! Garden was really nice Breakfast was okay

This was a very convenient place to stay for my weekend. The room was clean and comfortable. The location of the hotel provided a variety of options for meals and for exploring the city. As far as cleanliness, the room was very clean and provided a kitchenette which would be helpful in the future if I needed to stay for an extended period of time in […] the future. If the weather were no so bad it would have been nice to take a dip in the pool area which was very well kept. The most convenient option from this location was the breakfast bar. The hotel property is well kept & invites you to a family atmosphere in the center courtyard/pool area w/ bbq, lg lawn for play,concrete area for 4 square/ ball play & nice swimming pool. Beautiful rose gardens in the courtyard, a nice fountain decorates the front of the hotel. Inside the rooms are nicely decorated & clean. The bed is a HEAVENLY sleep […] w/ VERY COMFORTABLE mattress! We truly wanted to bring the mattress home! We wanted a peaceful stay away from home to celebrate our 40th anniversary & that is EXACTLY what we got! The staff was superb! Shower is very tall & nice, the tub however, is VERY SLIPPERY so we laid a towel in the tub to shower & that helped, so be aware. The one negative, the carpet crunches. Is it a real problem, NO, just mentioned it to be completely honest! The room was amazing, comfortable, clean! Just what we were looking for in a hotel stay away from home. WE WILL STAY AGAIN!!! We enjoyed our stay. We really appreciate the nice breakfast that was ready every morning. I was very thankful for how friendly everyone was. Thank you for holding my daughter's shoes for a relative to pick up! Bathroom fan was not working in room. (minor comment)

I stayed a week on business and every day the water wasn't working. They moved me to two different rooms because of the water problems. What a nightmare

The Hotel met our needs. The breakfast buffet was poor, the carpet was dirty, the bathroom fixtures were weird; but it was OK for a cheap stay in Santa Maria. Most annoying was the fact that because we booked on Hotels.com we couldn't get a refund for the two days we missed due to weather related travel issues. I won't use hotels.com again.

Other than a plumbing problem with the shower, it was a great room. The most comfortable hotel bed I have ever slept in. I will admit that I thought about asking where I could buy a bed like that. I will stay here again next visit, but I will ask for a room without a leaking bathtub faucet

The bathroom was spotless and the room was generally very clean except for the carpet which was covered with stains. There was some sort of problem with the under layment or sub-floor that caused every footstep to produce a loud crunching or crackling noise. Also, footsteps on the walkway outside the room caused strong vibrations inside the room so […] I had plenty of warning when someone was approaching. I was a little nervous about parking in a busy alley with lots of foot traffic but the whole place was very well lit and there were security cameras everywhere. The table lamps were fitted with compact florescent bulbs to save energy, but harsh bluish 2700K cool white bulbs were used instead of 3000K warm white bulbs that save just as much energy and look so much better. Two of the three energy saver "occupancy" switches were defective or miss-wired. The bathroom light came on by itself every time I entered the room but would stay on forever unless I manually turned it off. That is just the opposite of how these are supposed to work. The second switch in the dressing area would turn off after sensing no motion for a period of time, but would then immediately turn back on again. This cycle would continue until it was turned off manually. The lamp on the desk had two very convenient electrical outlets, but only one of them worked. I had to use a triple tap adapter on the one good receptacle to be able to power a laptop and a flat bed scanner at the same time. Video on the 32" Vizio TV was terrible until I used the menu function to reset everything to default settings. Even then there were no channels in high definition. Made me thankful that I had dumped Comcast cable years ago and switched to DirecTV. WI-FI however was readily available and provided a very strong and fast internet connection (12 Mbps). The water pipes were loud and it was very obvious when someone was using the adjoining bathroom. That may have been due in part to the shower valve which could be adjust Lisätietoja

We are always holding our breath when it comes to online hotel stay, but I have to say, this was wonderful. Lots of places to eat, stores close at hand..... Good job!

I was actually at this hotel for business ...I was very surprised with the interior of the hotel, the rooms were very modern , comfortable bed and the room even had a ceiling fan to add the comfort of home, I will defiantly stay here again:)

I really loved this hotel.. I felt that it was just perfect in where it was located. Just around the block was the ma and movies and across the street for yummy food.. The staff was awesome and my hotel room was like drop dead awesome.. Everything was better than my wife and I expected for the price. Especially the breakfast!

I have stayed at several Travelodges accross the country. Most are what you would expect or less. This one raises the bar. Obviously recently did a remodel. The courtyard with a pool, hottub and large open are was nice. The room was big, clean and comfortable. Very well done.

The innkeepers continue to add little benefits and nuances to their place, making the Travelodge one of the best bargain stays in Santa Maria. Without question, their beds are the most comfortable I find in my travels up and down the coast in California. Keep up the great work !

It was a booking on a 'transit' location as we were travelling along the west coast but after the one night we really wished we'd stayed more! The girl in the reception was super friendly and helpful, the room was really modern, cofmortable and very clean, no noise despite being on a main road, breakfast was much more than the bare basics you usually […] get at this price...and there is an amazing steak place just a few blocks down the street - the best we had whilst in California! Once again, I enjoyed my stay at the Travelodge in Santa Maria, CA. I continue to be impressed with the improvements they constantly make at the facility. Most comfortable bed I have ever slept on. Very nice pool area. Good breakfast. Friendly, helpful staff. Great value. The location was very good for visiting the wine country in Santa Barbara county and San Luis Obispo. Plenty of restaurants nearby.

The Travelodge hotel was very nice, very clean and the bed was comfortable. The hotel grounds looked very well kept and the security was good.

I usually stay someone else when I'm in Santa Maria, but decided to try this hotel, because of a discounted rate. The hotel staff was very friendly. The lobby was very nice. Its within walking distance of a lot of restaurants, grocery store and the post office. The hotel was renovated last year, but overall its just fresh paint over an old worn-out […] foundation. My bathroom looks like it was half way renovated along with the smallest toilet Ive ever seen. I stayed at the Travelodge this past weekend. I was visiting friends, playing golf, and shopping. As usual the service was excellent, and the facility very clean. The motel apparently has just completed a long term upgrade, with highly decorated rooms, and very comfortable beds. The room was fairly clean. But the carpet had a few stains that needs to b addressed. The remodeling was a good attempt?? But all in all not bad. Nice atmosphere outside the room "courtyard". Nice place to let kids play or for that matter, as well as dogs? Has a BBQ grille, Which I was hoping to take advantage of, but some else was using it. So, you […] must reserve if you plan on BBQing. For the cost, the room was an incredibly excellent deal. We were impressed with the room. We had a very comfortable King bed, We also needed and used the ample sized refrigerator. Also the safe was easy to use. I was glad that the room had an iron, ironing board, and hair dryer, and I used them all. The outside spa was a little on the cool side on Christmas […] Eve, but I still used it. The one negative: we asked for a quiet room, but the guests above us were heavy-footed. We hear them walking back and forth above our heads and we had to wear ear plugs. This hotel looked as if it had just been updated. We had a great room. The king size bed was very comfortable with very clean and new sheets, blankets, comforter etc. It was a large room with microwave, larger refrigerator, flat screen TV. The bathroom was beautiful with a jacuzzi tub.

The hotel was recently remodeled in very basic decor. The bed however was excellent. The parking is either in front, side or rear and out of sight of the rooms. The location is on a major street and there were frequent police patrols (not sure if this is a good sign). TV was not HD and was basic motel cable. Not at all fancy but since the beds were […] good, I slept well and traveled on the next day rested. Food service is really just coffee, rolls or cereal. I found the Travelodge in Santa Maria, CA., to be most comfortable. The room was extemely clean, the radio and (new) television gave all the variety of entertainment I could ask for. The bed was one of the most comfortable I have ever had. The King was soft yet firm, with multiple pillows. This hotel was an extremely pleasant surprise. I was sort of expecting the usual run-of-the-mill hotel where we could flop for a night but it turned out this was a very inviting, clean and convenient place to stay, even if it was just one night. First off I travel with a person who has severe physical disabilities and the first thing they offered at […] check-in was a room with a roll-in shower. Amazing to have such a convenience on the road. The room was spotless and had no funny smells like some of the rooms we were in along our way. We had a couple loads of laundry that needed to be done and the laundry facility was extremely close and convenient and the price of the wash and dry was cheap. The pool was the cleanest one I've seen yet. The continental breakfast was fine and having a place to sit for a few minutes in the morning before we got on our way was nice. Parking was also nice as there were parking spots very close to the room so made loading and unloading very convenient. I've already planned for our next California trip in a couple years and have marked this hotel as one I plan to stay at both on our way south and also will use coming back north as well. The hotel was wonderful! The room was nice and clean. The King size bed we got was so soft, it felt like home. My boyfriend got in bed and asked "Can I live here?" lol The outside was so pretty. It was nice and quiet too.
