5/5 Stars all the way!! Super friendly service, exceeded all expectations. Room was very clean. Every room was non-smoking, and they meant it!! Husband has asthma and usually has issues in hotels, but not here! :) Would definitely recommend staying here.

I was traveling through the states from Ontario to Saskatchewan. Happened by this hotel thanks to Hotels.com Shaun greeted me with respect and even helped me to get everything i was looking for. Room was larger then most i have stayed in. Very quiet and clean. Location was a little hard to get to off highway, but easy to get to off the main road.

"Great hotel for the price!"
The price was great for the hotel. This hotel wasn't as close to interstate 80 as I thought it would be. There were a bunch of restaurants which was such a convinced since the continental breakfast wasn't the best. The eggs were cold. The room was clean and the staff was very friendly, so overall I guess I can't complain in the end.

Good location - close to ND Good breakfast choices. Helpful service. BUT: pool and spa out of order. Those were part of the reason we chose that hotel.

We stayed at Comfort Suites for the last Notre Dame Home football game. Our room had a complimentary goodie cup portraying Notre Dame colors. The hotel provided a wonderful dinner spread on Friday night which was delicious and very much appreciated. While the location of the hotel is convenient and the clerk at the front desk helpful, this couldn't make up for the filthy condition of the room. There was what appeared to be dried feces on the toilet seat and the shower was mildew infested.
"Great for ND Games"
Great place to stay for an ND game. Very close to campus. Many fans stay here and the management does their best to provide a space for social gatherings. (Happy Hour Friday night) Hotel staff very friendly and accommodating. Focused on customer service. facility could use an upgrade though....new paint and carpet.
"Thin Walls"
My room was ok for the price. The location was good close to food. Staff was very helpful. The rooms next to me and above me however were occupied with other guests and I could here every word they were saying and I don't think they were loud talkers.
"Comfort suites near Notre Dame"
We have stayed in this hotel several times in the past 5 years due to it's proximity to Notre Dame and it's suite rooms. - 2 beds and a pullout couch. The hotel started out great but has aged quickly and maintenance has not been top priority. The bathtub in our room needed caulking. The rugs vacuuming and updating. The pullout couch had wrinkled sheets […] that we weren't sure were clean. The blanket for the pullout couch had gum embedded in the fibers. The sauna although a nice addition did not work very well- very drafty from the crack under the door and it did not heat up for quite a while. Elevators small and creaky. Staff friendly enough although we did not complain. Probably won't stay there again- plethora of other newer hotels to chose from. Lisätietoja
"love the hotel hate the upstair guest :("
The hotel was great, they have friendly staffs especially the ladies providing breakfast in the morning. All their staffs’ are nice and talk to you with a smile on their face. The room was clean and smell nice :) I really like that. My boys also enjoyed the pool. BUT, unfortunately, I had people above me that decided to have kids party till 1:30 a.m. […] and we couldn't sleep because they kept running up and down the room. "(un)Comfort(able) Suites-"
Check-in was quick and easy, but after i went to the room we noticed it was a handicapped room. So we asked to switch, because i dislike the showerheads in those rooms. The employee that got us our room was not at the front desk, so walked around trying to find an employee. No luck. The next morning at breakfast, the employee who prepares and cleans […] the room that has the food was not polite. We felt rushed and uneasy around her. "Close to Notre Dame and the Interstate"
The location is really convenient. Even shares a parking lot with Steak N Shake, which I love and don't have at home. The breakfast was better than I'd expected. They have a Belgian waffle machine and you make your own. My only complaint is that the walls are a bit thin and I could hear the tv next door. I'd certainly stay here again.

The room was to be a suite but it was just a room with a couch. In addition the pool was closed but ithere wasn't an notice on the website and it was only stated at registration.

"Comfort Suites, South Bend, IN"
The bed was very lumpy and felt old and used. A/C unit was loud and did not do a great job in cooling the room down. The restuarant was not open, but you could buy from the menu from the bar or room service. Food prices were high. Breakfast looked pretty good and was busy for a continential breakfast.

My son and I stayed in this hotel as I was dropping him off at Notre Dame. We could not get the shower to work and when I asked the front desk, they laughed and said "it was tricky" I told them I would have appreiciated knowing this when I checked in, and they just laughed. Good for a quick stop over, but there was some wear and tear in the room and bathroom. We were also above the lobby and could hear noise from late check ins throughout the night.
"Great Hotel"
Overall, this was a great hotel for a quick one-night stay for a business traveler. LOCATION: It is near Notre Dame, Saint Mary's, and the Toll Road. It is near several restaurants (there's a Steak n Shake next door!) and a Starbucks. ROOM: It was very clean, smelled clean and all the linens were fresh and neatly made. The hotel is totally non-smoking. […] Even though it is a pet-friendly hotel, my room smelled clean and I had no allergy problems. A/C worked very well, as did the bathroom fan. I used both because I could hear my neighbors fairly well (the walls seem to be thin). Lots of drawers and counter space. The Wifi internet was free and was pretty fast. BREAKFAST: It was pretty good. The cold items (cereal, donuts, bagels) were fine and well-stocked. The hot items were not as good, but they were also well-stocked. OJ and coffee were great! STAFF: Excellent! The man at the counter was very friendly and even called 10 minutes after checking me into my room to see if I was satisfied with everything. So attentive and thoughtful! "Overall decent stay for the money"
A decent place to stay close to ND campus and near several places to eat. Had a nice suite with double bed and pull out. The room had obviously been smoked in, and some of the detail cleaning was lousy. The breakfast was outstanding. Friendly and helpful desk staff.

Large Rooms, easy to see from Interstate if travelling from east to west. GPS could not find it, but hotel staff helped with 1 phone call... use exit 77, its the easy way.

Loved the bed...very comfortable. Clean room. It had a little sitting area next to the two double beds that was nice. We also enjoyed the heated pool and whirl pool. The breakfast was great with waffles and sausage and egg bisuits among the other continental breakfast items that you would expect.

We booked this room looking for a stopover during a long drive home from vacation. Quiet and comfort for two teenagers and two adults was the goal. We were pleasantly surprised by a comfortable room with two double beds and a pull-out couch, which meant my daughters got to stretch out in a bed of their own. Access to the hotel is a pain; South Bend […] seems to have only one or two exits. Given this, it would have been nice if the staff had been more confident in their directions when we called ahead. "Best One Yet."
My family and I had traveled across the US moving from Wyoming to Pennsylvania. By Far this was the best hotel we had stayed at.

"Great Hotel"
I was at the hotel during the time of a hot rod tour. So, the hotel was really crowded at that time. The hotel was near a major highway so it was very easy to get to. In fact it could be seen from the highway when you are traveling west to Chicago. We did have air conditioning and overhead fan while we were sleeping.

The exterior of the hotel as well as having a suite was wonderful. The room came equipped with a microwave, refrigerator and safe. We were there for only two nights and after the first night the room did not get cleaned. The beds were straightened and fresh towels were hung, but additional soap and cleaning of the sink, etc were not provided.
