I'll first say that the Service of the housekeeper was amazing! She bent over backwards to make sure we had what we needed for our room and the front desk staff was pretty helpful as well. We stayed at an amazing hotel the weekend before for a great deal less. Pool didn't work, big potholes in the parking lot almost left me soaked when a car drove by, […] the a/c unit was not working and not blocking out any noise as doors slammed all night and day. If we would have known a bunch of soccer kids were going to be there, we would have picked somewhere different to say so our kids could sleep. Staff was great, the facilities were in major need of upkeep and remodeling - dark rooms (lighting), awful comforters, tubs that don't drain, non-smoking rooms that smelled like smoke when we arrived. The location was convenient. The room I was in, however, showed obvious signs of a prior break in or police raid. There was a painted over boot print in the door and the door was taped up on the inside. I was by myself, and I did not feel safe with the meager bolt on the door, so I pushed the chair in front of the door. The room needs some general maintenance […] but it was generally clean. The television was a very old tube that made a lot of noise so I couldn't stand to watch it. Over all, it wasn't comfortable, but It could have been worse. It was quiet and relatively okay. This was the third stay at this hotel. We will probably not stay there again. The first visit was fine. The second visit, we were put in a room that smelled horribly of cigarette smoke, even though I had booked a deluxe nonsmoking room. We were moved to another room. This particular hotel has a drive-thru check in window.. I had card keys in hand 2 minutes after I pulled in which is nice. Room was clean and bed was comfortable.. nothing is plush but its gets the job done. No problems here; oh yeah, don't expect much of a breakfast.

Very clean and convenient. A little weak on the buffet but over very well located with check in from your car-a nice touch.

The room was mostly clean and comfortable. It was a good room for an overnight sleep. Breakfast was limited, but adequate. For the price the hotel was worth it. It was definitely not a Hyatt.

The staff were very courteous and the breakfast offerings were good, on par with or better than others in the price range. No complaints.

The room was ok, besides the 2 by 4's holding up the AC unit. An the roofing guys tearing the roof up early that morning, no sleeping in for me.

Fox News was on the TV in the breakfast room. I really resent being confronted with right-wing propaganda while eating breakfast. I wish they had chosen a different station or just keep the TV turned off.

The rooms were fine, bed comfortable, drive-through check-in very convenient. Breakfast was not bad, but very basic; nothing much but for such a budget price, it did the job. Pool was closed my entire stay because of hail damage to the glass in the pool enclosure. Overall this hotel was about what I expected. Maybe a little better, other than the […] pool not being open. Where to begin. By far the worst motel/hotel I have ever stayed in. The AC did not blow cold air, the mattresses were in terrible condition, the TV did not work, the pool was closed, the room smelled of cheap cleaning solution, and I could go on and on. Suffice it to say that I cannot recommend this place to anyone.

This Red Roof Inn that we stayed in was easy to get to but it needs alot of work done on it. First of all when we got there and turned the air conditioner on it was so loud. Everytime it would turn on you would have to turn the TV sound clear up or turn on the captions to hear it. In the middle of the night it would wake you up. I tried to work my curling […] iron and the wall socket wouldn't work. I could not even push the button to reset it because there was no reset button ( it was missing). The bathroom was a little small and when you went out to wash up in the sink there was no privacy at all. There was a wasp nest outside the door. The pool was out of commision. I have to give them this that there was a storm there the week before but I had looked forward to swimming so was very upset by it. We had 4 adults staying in our room and when we went to take showers there was just 4 large towels. We asked for extra towels and they said that they would bring us more. The hotel was gross and appeared to not be updated for at least 35 years. I did not feel safe in the hotel. I almost left the hotel to stay in a safer cleaner hotel even though I would have lost my money. I should have. The pool was out of order. This was the main reason for booking our reservation here. Otherwise, we would have went to Rodeway Inn next door and saved some money. We were looking forward to using the pool all week. Internet wasn't functioning right away. Went to call out and couldn't call down to the front desk at all. No paper or pens in the room […] to write down a compaint. Went to use the phone . . . U guessed it - None available. The toilet was loose in the bathroom. Didn't realize we had double beds. Until too late. Rate stayed the same even though no pool. Also, didn't realize I booked a room without refrigerator or microwave. We book a room in Findlay for the balloonfest once a year in August. This was clearly an older hotel with a layout I don't care much for. But they've done a very good job updating the room and trying to make this a modern, comfortable hotel at a very reasonable price. The breakfast was better than many business class hotels. It was very clean and quiet. A good place to spend a night or two.

we stayed 30 miles out of our way because add stated pool when we got there it was closed due to a hail storm that cracked the glass over the pool. act of nature no problem until we found out the storm was more than 2 months prior it should have been noted on the web site we would have made other reservations closer to our destnation

The desk lamp and light above bed did not work. The remote control would not work even when new batteries were inserted.

It was an older motel but worked for what we needed it for. The staff was very friendly and the price was right. We stayed there last year while up in the area for business.

My experience at the Red Roof Inn in Findlay, Ohio was HORRIBLE!!!! While the staff was pleasant, we were moved 3 times. The first time the door would not unlock so we were unable to even get in the room. In the second room, the toilet and the facet both felt as if they were going t break free of their anchor. But the real problem in room #2 was the […] bed bugs we found when it was time to go to bed. Room #3 didnt have sheets on one of the beds. There was a Swisher Sweet wrapper and a bobby pin on the carpet near my bed. In the morning when we woke up the toilet would no longer flush. By the time we were moved to room #3 and received sheets for the bed it was after midnight. A horrible experience and a horrible nights sleep!!!! I booked this hotel through Hotels.com for 2 weeks... on the day of my check out I found out that I will need to extend my stay by a day.... so I go to the front desk - talk to the lady and she says it's taken care of. That night around 11:30 - two people come banging at my door asking me if I was staying a day longer because I was expected to check […] out earlier. Then they tell me that they were going to charge my card. I told them that I had already spoken to the lady at the front desk and that's how my room keys are still working... I have a medical condition and had taken my pills before going to sleep - being woken up in the middle of the night was the worst experience ever of staying at a hotel. I asked them why they had to wait until 11:30 in the night or why couldn't they wait until the following morning - they didn't have an answer to... I filed complain the next morning when I checked out - but well. Also for that extra night of stay - they charged me $20 extra compared to the average nightly rate when I booked. I don't know if this was because I booked through Hotels.com - I think if I had booked directly at the hotel's website - I wouldn't have been charged $20 extra for the last day... no more booking from hotels.com!!! For an economical hotel room, was very clean, modern, nicely equipped rooms, free wi-fi. Would recommend.

our overall stay was good everyone was nice and very accommodating. Had a problem with the first room but was immediately taken care of. The only suggestion i have is you need to update some of your pictures on the website. For the price i would suggest this hotel.

I have been staying 1-2 nights per week while working in town. The rooms can vary but are all clean and in acceptable condition. The drive-up check-in is very convenient after a long work day. The employees are very friendly and accomodating. The neighborhood is in an area of shopping, restaurants and other hotels/motels. This hotel had one of the cleanest rooms I have ever seen at this budget level. The beds were like brand new. SUPER easy check-in. Had problems with the WiFi and the staff went out of their way to work with us to make it right, even letting us switch rooms when the signal was bad. We had to move to a smoking room and you could not even tell it had […] even been smoked in. Problems: The WiFi was fairly unreliable, no matter how much the staff tried to help, once we moved it was better but still not great. They had an ice machine that was really close to our room, but it was broken so we had to go all the way to the front office to get ice. TV's were pretty crappy but it is a budget hotel so we weren't surprised. Great location just off of I-75. Conveniences nearby including restaurants, Walmart, gas stations. Traffic can get congested during rush hour. Very friendly and accomodating personnel. Was given a micro and fridge upon request. Room was clean but plain. It was fine for business overnight. I will return!!

I love it when a hotel has a continental breakfast. It is very convenient. The food at your hotel was horrible. The sausage was greasy. The food in the refrigerator was not cold enough. The room was dirty. The trashcans were running over. We stayed at a hotel In Vevay Indiana that had the best continental breakfast ever. They had a wafflemaker that […] made wonderful fresh waffles. They had waffle dough already mixed and poured into individual paper cups and they were so good. They had yogurt, fresh fruit, muffins and bagels. I would suggest less quantity and more quality. We paid for 2 queen beds and got 2 full size beds. The wifi was not working and the ice machine was not working. The coffee was terrible (I've had coffee from the Red Roof machine before and it is usually good) Over all they did not pay attention to the details.

We were very happy with our stay. The only problem we experienced was the couple next door was drinking and got into a fight and was too loud pass midnight. That could have been at any hotel. Otherwise we were very thankful. Lots of good food for breakfast. We'd stay there again.
