Crowne Plaza Suites Arlington - Ballpark - Stadium - Arlington

Great Place

We stayed there in conjunction with attending a Rangers game. The room was a spacious suite. We enjoyed an inexpensive cocktail before the game, caught the shuttle to the ballpark. It all worked great. Breakfast buffet was very good, thought the portions they served were way too large!

the hotel was nice and the staff worked out a problem with the room. Our room was on the atrium and it was quite noisy in the front of the suite

Atrium carries noise up through all 7 floors. Breakfast noise in the morning especially bad. Also rambunctious kids on any floor are heard on all floors. TV didn't work and had to wait on maintenance man to replace it. Don't even think about using the couch bed.

This hotel had everything we were looking for! It's right by Six Flags with a free hourly trolley to and from, saving you about $25 in parking. The made to order breakfast was great! Omeletts, pancakes, french toast, and tons more so if you can book it with the breakfast option, do. (It's $11.50 per person if you just walk up.) The staff was awesome! […] The pool was great. The hot tub was actually HOT. The kids loved the glass elevators. They let us check out at 1:00. I couldn't have asked for anything more. We will stay here everytime we go to Six Flags. It was hot the ac did not work! Breakfast was 12 dollars, no free breakfast! Staff falling asleep at front desk! Sinks in rooms clogged!I will not return!

My family enjoyed everything the hotel had to offer. When we return to the Dallas/Arlington area, this will be our stop for that time. Keep up the good work.

This was my third time staying in a Crown Plaza hotel. I found this particular hotel to be the nicest one yet. Next time i happen to be in the DFW area i will definately be staying here. From their courteous front desk staff to their comfortable fluffy beds, this was overall a wonderful experience. Not to mention theyre bar & grill was awesome.

Spa was out of commission, hotel was nice, but very rough road leading up to, area not as nice surrounding. Hotel was clean, comfortable, overall ambiance a 3 out of 5.

Staff was friendly and room was comfortable.

The hotel had a good location right off of a main hiway and interstate. The resturant had very slow service one morning but the food was great. I would recomend this hotel to anyone.

We had a realy nice stay at the hotel. It was child friendly. I only wished the indoor pool was open later. Our room was above the pool, we heard no noice, which was great, but it seemed a little steamy inside the room, even with the AC on. We reguested a microwave which the brought, but they said 15 min. And after 1 hour we had to request again

This was a very nice and clean hotel and the service and desk personnel were great!

It was decent but would I stay again? Probably not, very surprised at how dated the rooms were and waited about 30 minutes for blankets for the sofa bed. The front desk staff were great, very friendly did what they could.

The hotel check-in process was easy and they were friendly. The room was clean. We stayed on the 7th floor and it was a suite. I am unaware if all rooms are suites, but this one had a king bed, couch bed, chair, fridge, and desk. Not brand new, but very clean and nice and contemporary. Beautiful interior of hotel. Had a starbucks with daily specials. […] My husband was thrilled about that. We could see Six Flags and Wet N Wild (or whatever it's called these days) from our room.They had a shuttle to/from those parks several times a day. We did not use it, but the shuttle was nice looking and that would've been convenient. I would definitely stay here again!!! Lisätietoja

Suprisingly very nice hotel......2 gripes. No bell captain service and the in room coffee situation was terrible. Still an 8 n the hotel scale.

The hotel is a bit dated, but still very clean. There is a decent bar & restaurant in the lobby, as well as a Starbucks. The hotel is about a mile from the ballpark, but guests can take a free trolley to and from the game.

It was just myself with two teenage girls and an 8 yr old. Stayed two nights and main purpose was a visit to Six Flags. Room was perfect size, clean, fridge was handy. We had dinner at restaurant...appetizers are large and pretty good a little pricey, but not too terrible. Breakfast is not included and is expensive...made it down late so buffet stuff […] was cold, but made to order omelets are excellent. There is a Starbucks, but closes at like 10:30 AM!!! Pool is a little small, but the kids loved it so I didn't mind (open til 10); workout room is ok w a few different Cardio machines and free weights (open 24 hrs). The best thing for us was the complimentary trolley from hotel to Six Flags and back when park closes. We have nothing negative to say about Crown Plaza...we are Priority Club members and love their hotels...as such they also extend checkout til 2 PM which is nice. The room was nice and spacious. The bed was a little harder than we prefer, but we slept fine the first night. Saturday night was when things went downhill. First-of-all.... the atrium, lobby, and eating area is all one huge room. Almost all hotel bedrooms are connected to the atrium area. Saturday night, we got in at 10pm and was surprised to hear […] a loud DJ and music echoing throughout the atrium and up to the 5th floor, where our room was located. Around 10:30 I called the front desk and asked when the party in the banquet room would be over, they told me in about 45 minutes. At 12:15am, I called to complain that the music and DJ were still way too loud and reminded them that I was told the party would be over by now. I also told them my 2yr old son kept waking up because of all the noise. I was told again that the party was wrapping up (which it wasn't.) And the best part was when all the drunk people were leaving the party whooping and hollering throughout the lobby between 1-2am. Obviously, the hotel is more concerned with their banquet room and partys being held there than the guests trying to sleep throught the rest of the hotel. Needless to say, we will never stay there again. Oh, by-the-way..... they had a small bag left on our bed the first night which contained a sleeping mask, a small spray bottle of lavender scent, and ear plugs. I enjoyed the room a great deal. With the two rooms my family was able to fit in comfortably instead of being under foot all the time. I only have a couple complaints. 1. The sofa bed was older you could tell because the bed fell beneath the frame of the sofa so when used as a couch it kinda sunk. 2. There was no real exhaust fan in the bathroom so […] when everyone needed to shower in order to leave, since we were in town for a family wedding, it made it hard. 3. The restaurant in the hotel was closed the week that we were there for the holidays which would have been nice to know ahead of time. That was one of the reasons we picked the hotel. As we entered the hotel we were initially impressed by the interior. The plaza was pretty nice. The hotel was very close to Six Flags, Rangers Ballpark, and COWBOYS STADIUM. We were in the area for a Cowboys game. There was a Starbucks inside as advertised. I thought the Crowne Plaza was a good choice. I didn't think so for long. As we checked in we […] were adviseded that they didn't shuttle to the game for free. Most decent hotels offer free shuttle within a certain area around the hotel. Apparently 2 miles was to far. They charged $12 per person. The shuttle was over crowded and the hotel made a great profit off of a short drive. I don’t know if this is a standard fee charged for shuttle to any destination or the hotel is using it's great location to take advantage of the obvious reasons most people would consider the hotel. Enough about that though. As you move past the plaza towards your room you are greeted by hideous pepto-bismal colored walls. Who paints a hotel that color? Crowne Plaza does. Now we arive at our non-smoking suite, open the door and the smell of smoke welcomes us to our suite. The suite reminded me of my buddy's old apartment in the housing projects in my old neighborhood. I can deal with that but it is not what I expected or paid for. Oh, one more thing. Starbucks closes at 2 PM. If you like starbucks in the evening like we do, don't let the Starbucks draw you in. You still have to travel to get to one. The staff was friendly and the restaurant was good. Not good enough to make the Crowne Plaza a good hotel. I've stayed at worse hotels before but I also paid a lot less for those rooms. I would NOT RECOMMEND the Crowne Plaza. Homewood Suites by Hilton, and Summerfield by Hyatt are much better and around the same price. Lisätietoja

My stay here was very worth the money. To be honest I was hesitant to stay; it was more what i wanted to pay for a room. After stay, I don't regret it one bit. The staff were very help, thank Brandon, and nice. From the house keeping to the kitchen staff very nice. The room was clean. This was the first time my family and I stayed at the Crown Plaza. We attended a Rangers baseball game. Our room was clean and very comfortable, the hotel staff was very friendly and helpful.We took the shuttle to the game and back with no problem. The hotel was nice, their was an infestation of crickets at the time we stayed and they were all over the hotel. It was pretty gross. Kids screamed and yelled and ran the halls until 11:30 pm at night. We had small children in a suite and they slept on the pull out couch. They were awakened several times during the three night stay. The price of food […] at the hotel was unreal, but there are plenty of places around the area that have good food. Lisätietoja

we originally booked 1 night but got too tired to drive after a whole day at six flags and hurricane harbor, decided to book additional night; got the same room/suite, family enjoyed pool, restaurant, etc...hotel better than we expected; this will be our only hotel whenever we go to Arlington....

Very comfortable room and courteous staff. Downside is the breakfast buffett. Foo was cold and poor quality and the food options were few. You either get wet eggs or cereal.

We have stayed in this hotel many times and always have an exceptional experience. Our kids don't want to stay anywhere else. They love the food and the pool! It is the only place we stay when we go to Arlington sporting events.

My wife and I recently stayed here in Arlington, and I must say...we were extremely pleased with the hotel. It was clean, well kept, and perfectly located near everywhere we wanted to go..Six Flags, Hurricane Harbor, Ripley's Wax Museusm...etc. Their services was also fantastic, with a shuttle service that would take us to and pick us up from all of […] the attractions for free. There was also a Starbucks inside the hotel, and a great restaurant....and free Wi Fi. I've stayed in much more expensive places, but I'll be looking for a Crowne Plaza everywhere I go from now on!!! At the price, I thought it would be a dive, but it was very nice

everything was great from the checkin to the room to the restaurant to the pool/hot tub. there are only good things to say about our stay. i would recommend this hotel to anyone.
