Parin korttelin päässä on valtava ostoskeskus (Westfield) ja koko Market Street on täynnä ostospaikkoja. Runsaan kilometrin päässä Market Streetiä alas löytyy sitten ranta ja sen nähtävyydet. Chinatown ei ole kovin kaukana sekään. Hotellin sijainti on siis hyvä sekä ostos- että nähtävyysmatkailulle. Hotelli itsessään on siisti ja toimiva. Normaalihuoneen kylpyhuone olisi voinut olla tilavampi. Muuten ei ole mitään huomautettavaa hotellin siisteydestä. Kuntosali oli suhteellisen pieni, mutta siellä oli tarvittavat kuntoilulaitteet. kaikenkaikkiaan, loistava sijainti ja mukava hotelli.

This is an excellent hotel with a great location. Lots of places to eat and shop nearby. Close to Golden Gate bridge for trip into San Francisco. The restaurant that is located under the hotel is superb would highly recommend it. The hotel staff is helpful and friendly. Spectacular views and awesome balcony made for a very romantic setting. Wood burning fireplace was used quite a bit on our stay and the staff was very accomadating to get us all the wood we requested. The front desk staff was very helpful and friendly and they did everything with a smile. The room was very comfortable and the bed was extremely comfortable […] especially when we ordered the complimentary "love pillows". This hotel was everything I hoped it would be since I had planned to ask my long time girlfriend to marry me during our stay and it made the moment more special. Overall, a great experience. A beautiful hotel centrally located in "downtown" Sausalito with a pretty view of the harbor. The fastest valet service I've encountered and the in-house Spa is incredible. Easy to get to San Fran if you have a car. lovely hotel right in the heart of Sausailito within easy driving distance of the city. Beautiful big rooms with great bathrooms. Ours faced the courtyard so was very quiet, not sure if road facing rooms would be noisier. Free live music in the park across the road on Friday night. Great food right next door. I wasn't to pleased with the room and the condition of it. "Everything was great except for..."
Everything about Casa Madrona was top notch except for the noise during the night. There were several rooms close by on our floor witth guests who must have had a party that did not end until about 2:00 in the morning. A call to the front desk was useless. When we left in the morning the person at the front desk did not even ask us how are stay was. […] For whatever it is worth we let this individual know that our night trying to sleep ruined our otherwise memorable stay. I was sorry to read of your inability to get a good night’s sleep due to noise from other guests. Clearly a basic function in any hotel is to facilitate a restful condition, and it is certainly unfortunate that some of your fellow hotel guests neglected to be mindful of their surroundings despite our repeated efforts to reason with them throughout the late night hours. With that said, please know that, had it been convenient, we would have gladly assisted with providing alternative lodging arrangements. Our property spans over several acres with accommodations ranging from rooms facing a quiet courtyard to cottages further up on the hill and away from the contemporary building. Believe me, the comfort of our guests is our highest priority! I truly regret if this incident marred what was otherwise a top notch visit to Casa Madrona Hotel & Spa and hope you will be back in the very near future at which time it would be our pleasure to introduce you to the different options related to room locations on our premises.

"Loved it! Super spacious, comfortable and chic!"
We stated one night on way back home, but wish we would have stayed another night. The hotel has great location, very boutique feel and loved the spacious room, bed was super comfortable, bathroom had shower and tub and very spacious also. Loved it.Aito Expedian asiakkaan arvostelu

"Loud & Luxurious"
We stayed in one of the hillside rooms, instead of the old building. At first they put us right above the storefronts, but I could hear conversations of passers-by. We were then moved up a couple of "flights", and, although it wasn't as noisy, there was still a lot of traffic noise and door-slamming (why is it that people can't just close the door quietly?!?). […] The rooms were well-done - no wood for the fireplace, and the stairs leading up to the bathroom were hard to see at night. The bed was a little hard for me, but the shower was wonderful, the valet parking people were all really nice and the restaurant next door (Poggio) was fantastic. There were double blinds that one had to crank chains to put up or down (ouch!), but there was an elevator, fluffy robes and an all-important refrigerator.
