Hotel is on the bus line easy to get to from train station or airport. A couple minute walk to the old city and all the sights. Free wifi and very friendly and helpful staff.

The hotel was nice and reasonably priced. The breakfast included was good and the staff around very nice as well. No complaints about the hotel. Def worth the price. Location good as well!

The location is good for leisure travellers. There's a bus service from OBB train station directly to the hotel entrance. A 5 mins walk from hotel to city centre, it could even take a short nap/rest after few hours walk before going out again at the beginning. There is a lot of varieties of food at the b'fast, food refills quickly and the waitress is […] friendly and helpful, although she is the only one to look after more than 10 tables. Great location close to the old town. Breakfast was basic, but enough to fuel up for a day of sight seeing.

This was a great hotel located close to the Old Town of Salzburg - 10 mins walk max. The rooms were tidy, there was a powder room and bathroom which was handy, but there was no aircon. The buffet breakfast is definitely worth getting.

Second time staying at this hotel and suitibly impressed for a second time. Close to the centre, river and all sites. 5 mins walk. Great complimentary breakfast choice. Complimentary free drink at the bar. Free internet. Helpful staff to arrange your sight seeing trips. Clean, warm. Great value for the price paid and location. This hotel is great value for money.It is a quick walk from the centre of Salzburg. There is a lovely atmosphere in the hotel. The staff are very friendly and helpful- second to none. Breakfast was great. The 24 hour bar was a nice spot to unwind and relax. I would highly recommend it!

We reserved a triple room for 3 adults and paid a premium rate. They were not at all prepared for us and our room, across the street from the main hotel, was small and smelled stale (distinct sewer smell in the morning). The rollaway bed they gave our adult daughter was child-size and they did not give us enough towels. The room was not air-conditioned […] and it was way too hot and stuffy not to leave the window open. We had to prop the terrace door open with a shoe in order to get some fresh air which was noisy. All in all, not the best sleeping experience. Poor value for the money and although the location is good, we will look elsewhere the next time we stay in Salzburg. Lisätietoja

Great rooms, location, breakfast and staff. We enjoyed our stay.

Basic hotel with a great breakfast. Just a short walk through the tunnel and you are in the old town of Salzburg. Have been here many times and the location is good if you are driving your own car due to the easy access of parking and lower price for it.

Convenient location, walking distance to old city attractions, rooms are small, an in-room coffee maker will be nice

This hotel is quite ok in everything except wireless internet which I cannot access from my room; although, the hotel give free wifi in everywhere. When I ask the reception, she said that "I cannot do anything".

I stayed in this hotel on a trip with my kids. I chose it for the price, but we loved it. The bus into town stopped right outside. They spoke fluent English and put up with my very basic German. It was also nice to have an enclosed parking lot right outside the hotel. I would definitely stay here if we are in Salzberg again.

Our trip to Salzburg was absolutely amazing. The Hotel Neutor enhanced the enjoyment of our stay. Its location to the old part of downtown was excellent...a quick five minute walk to all the notable sites. The morning breakfast was very good...a little on the high side but that did not take away from the experience. The staff was very help and knowledgeable […] about the surrounding area. No complaints, friendly staff, good location. Thought I had booked breakfast with my rate, hotel informed me otherwise, and I was charged extra "Extras" that were not clear at the outset, but were much appreciated: fast, efficient and free wireless internet access, hair dryer in bathroom, small safe just large enough to accommodate my MacBook safely. […] I enjoyed the little bar, as well, for an evening nightcap, and the bright, cheery breakfast room(s). Very good location for exploring Salzburg. It is only a 5-minute walk from Saltzburg Old Town via mountain tunnel. Across from bus stop to get to / from train station. Hotel itself is modern but our room was very small. Bed was taking about 80% of all available space. Also there was a restaurant / bar downstairs which could get quite noisy at night […] . Location was convenient and the room was small but comfortable. The only problem was noise from the street. We were on the the first floor above the lobby. Ask for a quiet room on an upper floor.

Hotel is right in the city center. Easy to park, and get to the sights. Room we had was not in the main hotel and was VERY dirty. (Hairs on pillow and in sheets, hairs in the shower, dirty walls and floor). May have been isolated incident or because we were not in the main building. Either way, completely unacceptable.

bar, service, accomidations, all were great. The cleaning lady threw out some notes I left on the table, but that was the only problem

We were only in Salzburg one night, so this place was fine. The room was very small, but we didn't need anything bigger. The bus stops just down the road from the hotel. Very nice to get to and from the train station. We walked to all the touristy sights though. It was close to everything. The soap they provide comes in a bulk dispenser, for the sink […] and the shower. I believe it is for hair and body. It worked great for washing my body and hair, but I was so glad to have brought my own conditioner. They don't provide that. Lisätietoja

don't be deceived by the pictures. They gave us the worst possible room in the hotel on the first floor facing the busy street. The room was like a dorm room, dirty and tiny bathroom. We stayed twice in the same week, at the beginning and end of our trip to Austria. The first night we stayed in the main building and the room was modest and quite acceptable for the over night stay. The only disadvantage was the noise from the road below and the ancient tiny TV. The second stay was much better, we stayed in the second block (the other […] side of the road) and it was spacious, delightfully decorated and much quieter. I think we struck gold the second time because it was a pleasure to stay there. The walk into the old town is very convenient and the staff are quite helpful. This hotel was in a fantastic location, with a quick walk to the old town; the hotel was clean, breakfast was good, service was excellent. For the price, I don't think you could do much better.

Das Hotel Neutor wurde sehr modern und zweckmäßig renoviert. Die Zimmer sind sehr freundlich und mit getrenntem WC und Bad auch sehr konfortabel. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist völlig ausreichend und von guter Qualität. Mit einem Parkplatz ist das Hotel als Ausgangspunkt für die Altstadt ideal gelegen ! Sehr preiswert !

Albergo confortevole, moderno, con connessione wifi free. Parcheggio, a pagamento, adiacente. Posizione strategica per arrivare al centro della città, a piedi, in pochi minuti. Rapporto qualità/prezzo adeguato.

Unser Zimmer ging auf den Hof, war ruhig. Leider war bei der Ankunft der Mülleimer nicht geleert, Seife am Waschbecken leer und keine Ersatzrolle Toilettenpapier vorhanden. Die Matratzen sind ziemlich hart, die Einzelbetten mit 80cm Breite sehr schmal. Frühstücksbüffet wenig Auswahl, Personal aber sehr freundlich. Ein ( stand im Internet) " Spätausteher- […] Frühstück " wurde am Sonntag nicht angeboten. Für Stadtbesichtigungen ist die Lage gut, als Urlaubshotel würde eich es nicht empfehlen. Lisätietoja

Super central beliggenhed, dog nogle værelser ud til gadelarm. Noget slidte værelser, men sengene helt fine. Morgenmad - ok, men kedeligt brød også udvalget af brød Rengøringspersonalet banker ikke på, og vader bare ind.....

Hotellet kan anbefales om du skal gjøre Salsburg. Sental beliggenhet og lett adkomst til sentrum med alle de tilbud Salzburg har å by på. Her kan du bo billig og sentralt !

Sehr günstige Lage zur Stadt und mit Obus-Haltestellen direkt vor derm Hotel Ausgezeichnetes Frühstück, stets heisser Kaffee! Zimmerwunsch parkplatzseitig wurde anfänglich nicht berücksichtigt. Konnten jedoch zu unserer Zufriedenheit wechseln

Dieses Hotel entspricht keinesfalls 4 Sterne! Dementsprechend auch enttäuscht! Man erwartet sich von einem 4 Sterne Hotel auch dementsprechende Gegebenheiten, bsp. keine Leuchtröhre als Licht! Zustand: abgewohnt!

Très central pour assister au Festival. personnel sympathique. Chambre très simple mais très bon marché. J'y séjourne depuis 1984 et compte bien retourner l'année prochaine

Bra läge. Det var bara att gå genom tunneln, så var vi i gamla stan. Kan vara lite knepigt att hitta parkering, då hotellet inte har så många platser.

Vorsicht, es gibt zwei Häuser, das eine ist innen glaub ich sehr schön, das andere liegt gegenüber und grenzt an eine Absteige. Da gibt's besseres um den Preis in Salzburg
