"I Love the Hampton Inn"
Those fancy hotels might be trend and up scale but they don't have hot breakfasts and all the little extra conviences of the Hampton Inn. They even give you qtips for free... It was clean, comfortable, and all the staff was super friendly. Loved it!

Nice place but more help was needed at the advertised hot breakfast. It was a holiday weekend and lots of people wanted bacon and eggs which the poor cook couldn't keep up with. Otherwise a great experiemce at the Hampton Inn in Ottawa, Il.

My only complaint was is with the alarm clock. We could not figure out how to set it, and the previous guest had set it for 5:45 am! We kept hitting every button in the dark and it kept going off every 8 minutes! We unplugged it, but it had a battery backup, and you needed a phillips screwdriver to take out the batteries! Everything else was great. […] We wanted extra pillows and got them. Frig, got it. Good food for breakfast. Quiet AC system. Good shower, EXTREMELY friendly and accommoating staff. Great stay! Only two problems - inconsiderate parents who let their children run up and down the halls of the hotel and make noise in the hallway at night and in the morning. There should be 24 hour security at the hotel to get after the parents. I am sooo tired of parents who do not parent and allow the kids to act like animals - I can only imagine what their […] house is like!! I have two children and they are very aware of how to walk quietly in the hallways of hotels and if they do not, they will suffer a consequence. "Overnight Stay in Ottawa, IL"
Hotel is very clean with nice pool and hot tub which is open til midnight. Very comfortable pillow-top beds. Great location just off I-80. Good hot breakfast in the morning. Restaurants just across the parking lot, and Walmart down the street. Only a couple of miles into the city of Ottawa.

Clean neat facility. Set in a new area food services within walking distance. Nice pool and exercise facility and yes, an okay breakfast. Not problems to speak of but if they were full or close to being booked the rooms would be a bit noisey (floor creek above you). Very comfortable bed, nice tub/shower. Kind staff and nice location. "Ottawa Hampton Inn - Easy on and off the Hwy"
Very easy to get in and out of the hotel from the highway (we were travelling cross-country). Everything was clean. The desk clerks were very pleasant and the room was very comfortable. The mini-frig with the tiny freezer was great for keeping our ice packs ready for our cooler the next day.
